We always find the food to be good. It is hit or miss on crowds but can usually get a table. Great local go to place for a bite to eat.

Service was terrible. We sat for 25 minutes before I got up to get someone to notice us. In the meantime, two other families that had come in after us already had their drinks and had ordered. I then had to get up again to get us refills on our drinks, napkins, and to correct a wrong food order. I don't know what I was thinking when I left a tip, but I wish I could get it back. I had high hopes since the change from T Phillips. And I love the Stubborn Mule in San Dimas. The kitchen was fast and food arrived quickly. But, drinks were an unreasonably long wait. To the extent that one person in our party said "it's too bad, they are losing a lot of sales" by not getting drinks out in a timely manner. I am hopeful that the service will improve and Glendora will have a new staple in this rotating corner. read more

I was excited about trying this restaurant since it opened. The wings were pretty good, however, the pizza and salad were just not good. For the price that they charged for our food, it was low quality and lacking in taste. Sadly, would not return unless the food quality improves. read more

Service was horrible. All the tables around us were being served or acknowledged by their servers. The only contact we had was the greeter who sat us and gave us a menu. We waited more than 25 minutes with no acknowledgment or eye contact. One of the tables next to us had 2 servers! One of the two was serving the table to the left and right of us. Was very disappointed for the first time visit. Was looking forward to having a green beer. Well, I hate to give a crappy review for a local Glendora business. My wife and I attempted to have dinner and drinks here tonight to try it out for the first time and to support the local scene. But no one helped us once we were seated... at all. The hostess sat us on the patio (as we requested) where there were a few other small parties of two people. Two servers were working the patio. One girl was working the side opposite where we sat, and another girl finally showed up on our side of the patio. She approached the large party of 10 people who were seated about 10 minutes AFTER us. She took their order, walked right past our table to the table directly behind us, and then she went back inside. No acknowledgment of us whatsoever. After about 15 minutes sitting there like dummies, we got up and left and had a very nice dinner at the sushi place across the street. Before we left, I approached the server and asked her why she never came to help us. She very condescending we said "Ooooh that's too bad, I didn't know you guys were out there." Which of course is a stupid thing to say, because she had literally walked right past our table as we were seated in between the two parties she was helping. Anyway, hopefully management reads this and teaches their staff better customer service before they lose other potential customers. read more

Had the mushroom Swiss burger, and it was one of the best burgers I've eaten in a long time! Perfect seasoning on the beef, cheese melted yet not messy, mushrooms flavorfully sautéed. The bun was soft but didn't fall apart, had been buttered on top to add flavor. If all their food is this good, I'll be back regularly. read more

The Stubborn Mule is an incredible restaurant not simply because their outstanding food and drinks but because of their remarkable staff. Courtney and Erica are the most incredible servers we've ever had while visiting any restaurant. They have gone above and beyond when welcoming us on arrival and know our normal orders without asking! They have turned the Stubborn Mule into a place we all look forward to visiting. Had an amazing time today enjoying the new restaurant and the great food! We had starters of homemade chips and chili, delish!! Pretzels with cheese, so good for football Sunday! Then on to our lunches of sliders, burgers, fries and onion rings! So yummy! All we needed after that was a nap! The craft cocktails did not disappoint! The Pom Mule for Mom and the Peach for the kid! Refreshing and delicious! A must go too in little quaint downtown Glendora! The patio is to die for with fire tables! Food was below average. It was actually very bad. Had the sliders and the bread was stale. They tasted like the frozen slider burgers you can get at any grocery store with a dried up patty. Drinks were extremely watered down. Service is very slow. The server was nice enough to give me 15% off because of the state of the food which was their saving grace. I was warned against coming here but didn't listen. We watched people come in, stand around waiting for someone to sit them or take their order, and leave when no one would come up to them. Won't be coming back. Surprised it has 4 stars. Probably only a matter of time until it's two stars and this place shuts down just like the one before it. read more

I know people make mistakes but when it comes to dishonest employees & drinking on the job that's where someone needs to be spoken to. I came to this location for the second time Last week, we had drinks and some food. When it came time to paying I split a bill with my friend I always tip in cash. I paid with my card & tipped cash yet today when I looked at my bank charges the amount is more than it should be the waitress decided to take that cash tip and add an additional card tip on top of what I already Gave her in cash. This type of stuff is disheartening I myself work in the service industry and I would never do this to anyone I'm really disappointed, who knows how many other people this is happening to as well check your bank activity people. read more

We can't say enough about this place! We love having such a great bar and restaurant in our downtown area. My husband and I go almost every week, and we've now had two large events here as well. Taylor served about 40 people effortlessly at my birthday party and Leanna took care of all 20+ of us at the holiday event we attended on their patio last night. Manager Holly is absolutely incredible and all servers, bartenders, and bussers take such great care of us every time we go there. We love Courtney as well but honestly, everyone is great. They have excellent food and drinks and their happy hour/game day specials are awesome! We especially love the ahi salad, totchos, and their mules. 10/10 recommend everyone give them a try! read more

If you decide to give this place a try make sure to expect your food to take a while to make cone out and I wouldn't sit in maddie's section my family and I went there last weekend and it was our servers 23bday and the whole time we where there she was talking and hanging out with her friends who where sitting in her b-day section just talking and enjoying her self our appetizers came out after some of our main dishes salads as well, the whole table had to ask numbers times for whatever we needed. (Refills, side of ranch...) I had to stop other servers and ask for something I wanted it promptly at all. We where a party of 16 but maybe we should of had 2 servers if that was the case it is ridicules to have had to wait for everything we had to we decided to not even waste our time trying to see about dessert instead went to the ice cream place next door. We have visited probably a dozen times since they opened and never been disappointed. I can't say enough about how well run the restaurant is. Management has trained the entire staff well. My complaint was when we got there on Sunday at 7:00pm the bar was so dirty, there must have been 40 empty diet glasses at the end of the bar! I have been waiting for this location to open for the past few months. I was impressed right when I walked in. There are TV's everywhere you look and the finally have Touchtunes at the location. Drinks were on point ( I mean it is hard to mess up a Jack and Coke jk) I would recommend any of the salads especially in this heat. Remy was my server and she was amazing. This place sucks some serious ass. Ordered a round of mules and got vodka sodas in a copper mug (and one whiskey/soda). Server told us the bar was out of ginger beer, yet they tried to pass off an incomplete "drink" anyway. We sent them back, and one in the party ordered a whiskey/gingerale as a substitute. After some time, the server notified us they were out of gingerale as well. It's comical at this point. Not to mention the food was atrocious. Margherita pizza had no sauce...literally none. Do yourself a favor and avoid this shithole at all costs. New spot opened up downtown and I highly recommend it. The other reviews I read were SO MISLEADING. The service is was excellent and the food was awesome. My server was polite and attentive, and immediately accommodated me as soon as it started raining outside. With baseball playoffs afoot and football season being well underway, this is a great spot for appetizers and a drink if you're not in the mood for a full meal. Definitely check it out! read more

Watered down drink. Couldn't finish it. A bartender should generally know how to adjust for things like that. Wings (Buffalo) were good, but ranch was not great. Carne asada in tacos was flavorless, buns for sliders were stale (my husband got a 50% discount on his because he let the server know). The queso/chilli dip stuff looked and tasted pretty fake also.
