The portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable for Midtown Manhattan. Over the two visits, I tried both versions of the Hainanese chicken rice, and both were delicious. The food came out incredibly fast, and I especially appreciated that the meals included Chinese broccoli. I also tried the stir-fried noodles from Hainan Jones and the beef rendang from Padi D'NYC -- both were excellent. Overall, everything we ordered was flavorful, satisfying, and served quickly. Definitely a great spot for a casual and tasty meal in Midtown!

Urban Hawker isn't a restaurant, but a food hall with lots of Singaporean and Malaysian food vendors. This means lots of different options to choose from. :) We split a Hainanese chicken rice plate and an order of chicken and lamb skewers, both of which tasted very yummy. While we also wanted to try a dessert, the dessert stall we were interested in was unmanned. We were also feeling pretty full from our main lunch items.

Huge sandwiches stuffed with meat and cheese (also veg options). I ordered the Time Out (warm roast beef, mozz, sauteed onion and gravy $16)... it was packed with flavor! The second time I ordered it, I got the dark delicious gravy on the side. I ate half at Time Out which has tons of seating and had a lot left over. Thank you Anthony, Milton and the rest of the team for this fantastic sandwich experience. Fabulous customer service. Run to Time Out Market USQ for their incredible Italian sandwiches. Taqueria El Chato, with their fab tacos, is the only other place I've tried in the market so far. Definitely would consider Kam Rai Thai, Kababwala, Fornino... A full bar in here and other eateries . Worth checking out. Nice tunes playing in the background.

Best food court in NYC !!!…read more I have probably ate at 1,000 different stalls inside the New World Mall food court over the years, so let me be its 1,000th review. Seems fitting. Considering I just did another mini food tour with my friends today, this place has been my go to for a quick bite in Flushing since its inception. Not a whole lot of the stalls have lasted over the years, but a handful remain, while the new entrants keeps the food court interesting. Below is the current list of vendors as of May 2025. However, I'm here for the great food options and can overlook quite a bit. Therefore, though there are shortcomings, I block it all out and just enjoy what they do offer, which is large variety of delicious cuisines from around China/Asia.

Made my stomach feel not so clean after but it was good! The soup dumplings were okay, I don't think it's the best or worst I've had. The food court has no reception and can get very packed, especially since this place gets talked about a lot. The food court also has cool vending machines with blind boxes that are sometimes hard to find which is nice. If you live here it's pretty convenient place to stop by.

This used to be another unused office building atrium until several years ago they reconstructed it to be a semi Scandinavian minimalist design-inspired indoor park space replete with faux trees, glass baubles hanging from a ceiling decorated with narrow wooden panels. Seating in the form of smaller tables for 4-6, communal tables for 8-10, and bar tables areas are spread over a central tiled ground floor. Along the south side of the space, two sets of stairs (and an elevator) going up to street level are sandwiched between wooden risers that can be used for seating as well. Chairs and small coffee tables are available on the second floor overlooking the below too. Getting to the food: - Teranga: West African bowls that are flavorful and delicious, their juice options are great too. Jollof rice, Yassa and Shay chicken, kewelele (sweet plantains), and my favorite Bouye drink. - Miznon: Israeli/Mediterranean food, yummy schnitzel, roasted cauliflower, stuffed pita sandwiches. - Petit Maman: coffee shop with baked pastries and fresh sandwiches. - KazuNori Handroll Bar: sushi handrolls a bit pricier though tasty, fresh seafood. - Pesce Lulu Seafood Kitchen: I haven't eaten at this one personally though their mahi mahi fish tacos, grilled salmon bowl and fisherman's soup are well known here.
