An update is needed! Took my car in yesterday a little after 3pm and didn't wait to long for Alejandra to give me the ticket. She asked me to move forward so the guys could do the vacuuming. On a Friday afternoon, there were a lot of people. Left my car in there own hands and asked for the regular package since they have a lot of options to choose from. I also had a $3.00 off coupon and redeemed that once I got in to pay. Let me not forget to mention, wanted them to do armor oil for my tires/rims. Ana, at the register took my ticket and honored the coupon. The total was $26.00 minus the coupon. So it came down to $23.00. Where else can you get a nice car wash/vacuum for such an affordable price?? Last, but not least Omar was working on my car and did a spotless job cleaning the inside and the outside of the car. They have drinks, air fresheners, sun glasses and other things inside for sale. Was very content & satisfied with my car. It was dirty & dusty. Thank you all very much. Despite the many recent bad reviews this place has received across Google and Yelp I decided to give it a shot. That was a mistake. I spent 260$ to have my car detailed here. It wasn't detailed. They didn't even give it an actual wipe down. Wasn't fully vacuumed, leather wasn't cleaned, center console is still filthy, dash still dusty and dirty, outside of car not completely cleaned as well, nooks and cranny's not even touched, it smelled really bad when it was returned to me, etc. I was told they would let me know when my car was finished, they didn't. Almost 4 hours later I called and they said it had been done for awhile. When I tried to address the entire situation with the manager (or owner, wasn't clear which) I was aggressively told that the workers did a great job and nothing would be done to rectify the situation. This is going to be a no for me. I always try to be very honest with my reviews and I just can't recommend a place that is so careless with their wash. It was ridiculously busy, but I wanted to give it a shot. My car only gets hand washed, and it didn't even feel like they tried. For perspective I paid for the entire interior + exterior and added wax, so it was not a basic package. I have been coming to this hand wash business for about a year now, and when I first started coming here they did an amazing job on my car. Unfortunately, throughout my visits, the service has declined. I specifically choose this place because they advertise hand washes, and I have black paint that I try to take extra care of. This last visit on 5/26/26 will be my final one. I didn't notice the damage until I got home because I was on a business call and trusted that my car would be properly cleaned after the wash. I had bird droppings on my car from earlier that day and wanted to get them removed as soon as possible. When I got home, I noticed white scrape marks left on my paint. Thankfully, my partner had a wax product that removed most of the white residue, but the scratches are still visible. It's really disappointing considering I came here specifically to protect my paint, not damage it. If you come here, please make sure to fully inspect your car before leaving. read more

This used to be my favorite car wash that I went to consistently for over a year. After today, I will never return. I paid $60 for a hand wax and wash, interior and exterior. When I was given my keys, they turned out to be someone else's. I didn't realize until I was about 30 minutes into a 1 hour and 10 minute drive home. Because of their mistake, I had to turn around and drive 30 minutes back in worsening Friday traffic, just so another customer could get their keys and be able to drive home. That meant wasting gas, losing time, and then having to restart the entire 1 hour and 10 minute drive home again in the middle of Friday rush hour. When I returned, there was no direct apology, and the situation was handled with confusion at the register. On top of that, the interior of my windshield was poorly cleaned, with visible streaks and haze that became especially bad as the sun set. This is the main reason I had been coming here in the first place. The wash was refunded, but the combination of mishandled keys, wasted time and gas, lack of accountability, and poor workmanship is unacceptable. I will not be returning. read more

The new crew is not the same :( I have used this car wash for over a decade. Unfortunately, some months ago they had issues with immigration officers and lost most of their old crew. Since then -honestly-the quality and efficiency just isn't the same. Cars are taken out of order and folks who came first are made to wait while the 'upscale' cars are taken sooner. I'd like to start by saying I've been a loyal customer for the last five years, but this place has gone downhill in a hurry over the last couple of years. First they try to upsell you saying your car was too dirty, tall, the rims are too big, whatever and then you have to make sure everybody actually does their job. They'll then be rude and condescending when you explain you've been coming for years getting the same thing. This last visit they didn't even bother vacuuming the rear footwell or putting dressing on the tires. I brought my vintage Porsche a out three months ago and a squat bald gentleman, I'm assuming the owner judging by the way he talked to me, then tried multiple times to move it, but couldn't work the clutch stalling out multiple times. I walked over to see if i could help, or frankly just keep him from burning the clutch up and he told me "believe it or not, I've been driving manuals for a long time." After stalling it multiple more times, he finally let me move it myself blaming it on my "difficult clutch". I asked for my money back and left after that. I'm done with this place now. Worst experience every time I come here. On a previous visit, they scratched my rim, and somehow it still takes forever for them to dry your car properly. Today was even worse -- it was cloudy and completely empty, so you'd think customer service would be better. Good afternoon everytime I started going to this car wash there is a young lady name Yesenia and she is always greeting customers. I see how she vacuums my car and my friends cars as she does her work great. And how fast she and the guy work quickly. I really recommend her on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. As there was also times where she will be drying cars and really fast. The drivers are quick getting cars to be washed. This is a great service. I recommend you getting early at 8:00am. read more

Literally the worst car wash in history . I been coming here for over 15 years . Asked the lady in the front to just get dust off my back seats she said I need to pay 20$ extra . I told her just get rag with water and it will come off . Her response is they don't clean with rag and water and in order for me to get removed I need to detail . So I took a rag and water and showed her with one swipe that it is just dust and it comes right off . Her response to me was very aggressive and rude and says this car wash doesn't clean that way . Not sure how a car wash cleans but doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that you clean with a wet rag . Laziness at its finest . No wondering why there are 3.4 stars on yelp . Came here for my very first car wash ever. I was a little nervous because I've never done one and I didn't know the protocol. I drove up and got waved to park underneath an awning. The worker came up to my window and asked what package I wanted. There was a giant sign hung up with all of their services so it was fairly easy to decide. I ended up getting the luxury package. It came out to about 33 bucks. The worker gave me a ticket and said I could wait in their outdoor waiting area. They have hand shaped chairs and massage chairs. A good amount of seating was provided so no one there had to stand. You pay inside and they give you a receipt that you hand over once your car is finished being washed. The whole experience was probably around 30-40 min long. My car hadn't been washed in 5 months and I park outside on the street underneath a tree. Even with all of the grime stacked onto my car, they were able to make it look like it had just come off the lot! Really happy with their services! Next time, I'm going to pay the extra monies to get their deluxe package for interior cleaning as well. They did a light dusting (even though my package didn't include that) which I really appreciated! My only note is that I wish their calling system was a little different. You kinda just have to keep an eye on your car and once they're done, someone will wave a towel next to it and it's up to you to realize it's finished and head over. First time coming here and we were a little apprehensive because of the newest, mixed reviews, but we decided to give it a go and see how it went. It seems like a pretty popular car wash spot, since there many people waiting ahead of us, and even more coming after we arrived. We drove up, selected what type of wash we'd like, and sat in the seats out front and waited about 45min. We selected the Premium ($40). You have to keep an eye out for your car though, because when they're done, they wave to the people seated from wherever the car is parked and being cleaned, and it's up to you to notice that your car is ready, so if you're not paying attention, you won't know that your car is done. They did a fantastic job, the interior and exterior was so clean, it smelled and felt great sitting inside my clean car! The only thing was that the seatbelts weren't taken care of; when I looked under them, beach sand was still sitting underneath. Not a big deal, I was able to vaccum it at home, but other than that and having to keep an eye on your car to know when it's done, it's definitely well worth it! read more

I live so close, but continue to drive to the one on Fulton and Ventura because of this- They told me because my car is a Porsche i have to do luxury car wash. 3x this has happened. Every time, so many water spots. Yesterday, when it was done- water spots still on mirrors. Water running down the side. I asked to please make sure it's all dry. He wiped all down, and of course as I'm down the street i just see smear marks all over windshield as well as the mirrors. I go today, said my concerns of paying again $30 for ANOTHER wash...she recommends that i pay for a wax‍ This car is brand new. I can appreciate a waxed car, it's just not needed. I've been coming to SCHCW for about 25 years. Today I came for a full detail at $260. I was told it would take 90 mins to 2 hours. It's a small, older Honda CRV. It's now taken 2 hours and 20 minutes and I'm still waiting. They went from having 3 people working on my car to one who has spent much of the last 15 minutes on her phone. No apologies from management and nothing was done to get her to put her phone away and work on my car. We will see how much longer this takes. It seems SCHCW just isn't what it used to be. read more

Been coming here for years, and honestly, Studio City Hand Car Wash is one of the businesses in the area. I had a ton of bird poop, tree sap, pink flower debris, spider webs, etc. on my BMW 320i, so I decided to stop in an hour after opening on a Tuesday morning while I was commuting through the area. Only about 4 cars were being cleaned at the point. After pulling in, a woman with a notepad came over and tried to sell me on a $60 Supreme Wash (two times through the hand washer) in order to get off a lot of the debris and stains. I didn't want to spend that kind of cash because I didn't have much time and I also knew that my car would be parked on the street as an easy target for collecting debris once I arrived home. I decided to go with the least expensive option, which was $23 and not listed on the price menu directly in front of me. Ironically, the "cheapest" option on that menu was for $26, but I digress. I watched the car go through the washing area and saw two men with hand sponges throughly massaging my metal beast. Upon exit, it was quickly whisked up to the driving area, where a gentleman dried my car solo. After about 10 minutes total (and watching him scrape off some of the caked on stains with a little more vigor), he waived the red towel indicating it was ready for pickup. I noticed a few areas that weren't totally clean (tree sap, some mild residue on the roof and sides), but the cobwebs and most of the gunk was removed. I would say it was about a B- in terms of grading pristine exterior cleaning. The inside area, however, was thoroughly cleaned, but no air freshener for this entry level (that's an additional $3). I had the gentlemen dry a few areas seen with my naked eye and tipped him before driving off. Overall, an average price for an average wash, which was on par with my history and expectations of this place. read more

Fine place to go if you want a mediocre wash when you have plenty of free time but this location has been overall disappointing. Most recently went in for a detail and after picking my car back up you can tell they used dirty rags to clean the windows with tons of streaks. The outside had pollen spots still that easily came off with my finger and then I found all of the floor mats in my trunk for what ever reason along with a random container that was left behind from them. After spending over $200, I would have expected a brand new looking car, not one with streaky windows, hidden floor mats, pollen spots, and random trash that was not there before. read more

First off the service was horrific. I brought my car in at 3:52 today and I got my car back at 4:45. Granite there were people here I was behind a certain person and my car ended up being about six cars behind where I started and two cars behind when I asked some of the employees here whom the lady says does not speak English, which they were making a joke about where my car was and all your car is right behind this car and my car came out two cars behind that. So as a person that comes to this car wash quite often I will not come back here again. I hope nobody else comes back here on a Saturday or even on Monday. I don't care what day it is because I can't stand when people lie and say other people don't speak English if you don't speak English, you don't make jokes with your friends in front of a customer. And that's what happened to me today. I will never come back here again and I hope you guys read this and understand that because you speak a certain language you get a feel when somebody is playing you and that's what happened to me today. Worst experience I have had in a while at any business. Took my truck in for a wash. My expectations being that my car gets cleaned. I walk up to my truck when I was called upon completion and immediately notice that there is dirt and bugs everywhere. I start pointing out issues to the person who had done the work. He immediately stated that the issue was me not paying for a wax. He then went to find a manager. The manager had nothing to say other than I needed a wax which would get the bugs off. I did not accept this answer and assumed there was someone reasonable I could speak with at which point she went to get the owner. The owner was a real piece of work and should never be allowed to interact with customers. He immediately got in my face very aggressively and continued the theme that they would not come off with soap because they were embedded in the paint. What??? I have been on this planet a while and washed many cars. The only way to get bugs off is with soap, water, and a good scrubbing. The real issue was him yelling at me and getting in my face in a threatening manner. Very unprofessional and not called for on any level. I have frequented this car wash many times over the years and have never had an issue. It has been a few years since I have been here and ownership has changed. I feel sorry for the employees having to deal with this embarrassment to humanity daily. Unprofessional is an understatement. This will go down as an experience I will not soon forget.
