I had my haircut done by Luke tonight and he is incredible! Before washing my hair, he sat me down to consult me and asked what I wanted. I had very long, straight, and heavy hair with split ends to begin with. He gave me honest feedback on what would work and what he was then going to do, which I really appreciated. Luke is really friendly and I found it so easy to talk to him about a variety of things while he was cutting my hair. I loved how he explained what he was doing every step of the way. I was his last appointment and he took the time to do it all with gentle care. I truly am in love with the end result- light, texturized hair without taking too much off. If I lived in Miami, I would definitely make him my regular stylist. I will definitely see him again when I'm back next! read more

Went in for an impromptu men's haircut. I expected to 50 dollar price tag , actually 60 with the tip . What I did not expect is the arrogant Brazilian lady at the counter who forced me to enter my PIN number to pay for the service. If they don't want to pay the processing fee that's not my problem but why should I get penalized and not get points for my overpriced service and more importantly have her arrogant attitude ruin my visit. Garbage customer service wasn't even offered a glass of water by her while I waited. Not smart having this be the first person you see and last one when you leave. If your going to decorate like you're a high end place you need to act like it which means good customer service not arrogance and being cheap.Plenty of other places in Brickell to have to deal with this ie Trini, Creato, Bourgier, RikRak and the list goes on and on !!!!! read more

not only did they not have my appointment on record after I had called twice to confirm but they did a gel manicure at that hurt me and gave me an allergic reaction on top of that they charge me an extra $5 to take the gel off plus 44 the manicure so in total it was $45 for a manicure that room my nails they're not very friendly and unless you speak Portuguese it's very hard to communicate read more

Finding a salon that has a stylist who is willing to listen to your needs and work with it is actually harder than it seems, especially here in Miami. I have had only a few stylists in my years that have cut my hair the way I have truly loved it, and Luke was one of them. When I walk in, I am promptly greeted by a receptionist, or even sometimes Luke because he will be waiting for me up front and eager to see what we will be doing that day. His approach to cutting and styling is always based on what you want. He is open to listening to new ideas or even fixing what you can feel is "wrong" with your hair he will be able to fix it immediately. I feel that the best part is that Luke always takes the time to round brush my hair to make sure it looks amazing when I walk out the door (while most stylists in the past blow dry it straight when I leave and I always have ask them to add some bend or curl) His styleouts last for days and the shape from the cut will last a while if you're not good with upkeep and maintenance - just be sure to come back for trims when needed! All in all, this is the place to be if you want an experienced hairdresser to keep up with your tresses. The price is worth it and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming. read more

We went to Studio D for haircuts at the same time, and William cut both our hair in back to back appointments. He took the time to really listen and understand what we wanted before executing on the plan with aplomb. He did what we asked while adding that elusive personal touch.
