I came here with my mom and daughter to see Housemaid on the Tuesday before Christmas for the 1:00 pm showing. I hadn't been here in a couple of years and was really looking forward to it. Tickets weren't too pricey, which was nice. When we got to our seats, I was happy with where we were sitting and loved that it wasn't overcrowded. We scanned the QR code to check out the menu before pushing the button for service. My daughter wanted a slushie, popcorn, and pretzel bites. Once we pushed the button, our server came over pretty quickly and took our order. He recommended the "three for $30" deal (I believe that's what it was called), so we went with that. It worked out well because it included her items plus a flatbread and sliders. My mom also ordered a margarita. The total came out to around $65. I enjoyed the sliders, my daughter absolutely loved the pretzel bites and flatbread, and my mom said her margarita was good. Service was really good overall. The only downside was that during the movie we could hear the movie playing next door (I believe it was Avatar), and the rumbling was a little distracting. Other than that, it was a great experience. We'll definitely be back, and I think this might become a new tradition. read more

We finally went after a couple of years away. Nice to see they updated with a remodel. No menus you need to scan the QR code. The 2 for $30 is now $32. The cheese burger was no longer on the 2 for deal. I tried it any way. It was very good but if you have a problem with salt and pepper like I do..you might want to ask for none it was over whelming in some bites. We were happy to see they remodeled since the last time we were their. New chairs, tables, larger row letters. Also our server and others were very friendly and helpful. We like coming to this theater for an occasional family movie and lunch. Typically we have a pretty good experience and leave satisfied. The food items we've ordered have been good. Level of cleanliness is as expected. Seating options are comfortable. But it's hit or miss. Sometimes the popcorn is fresh and yummy, sometimes it takes ages to get and it feels like it was bottom of the barrel scoops. Sometimes the staff is responsive to requests, sometimes we are forgotten. Sometimes the staff we interact with are personable & helpful, sometimes they are rude. It just depends. read more

i'm always so disappointed in the food at this place. It's been several years. I thought maybe it has improved, but it's not. I had the worst salad known to man. It would've been better if I just brought one of those prepackaged salads from the grocery store. It's like the chicken had been frozen for two years and then left to sit out for hours before they served it to me and the chairs don't even recline all the way back. I don't know why I tried this place again. it's not worth it and it's always so distracting to have all the waiters coming in and out. read more

I have been 3 times with my wife and we each ordered something different every time. 6 dishes and 4 miserable fails, 1 was meh and 1 was good. the chicken and waffles comes with 2 belgium waffles and 3 chicken tenders. all were nicely cooked. the waffles were crispy as were the tenders. just getting a regular meal that isn't trying to be better than it really is would be nice. stop trying to be something better which ends up ruining the food. the seats are very comfortable but hard to eat reclined, also may be to close when the next person is a messy eater. read more

I've been here a handful of times before the pandemic in 2020 and I always enjoyed myself. Yesterday was our first time returning to this particular theater post-pandemic since it's far from where we live, and boy has it dropped in quality. We were in Theater 9, and the leather seats were ripped up, including the arm stands. So many of the seats didn't have their number listed on them, so it took me awhile to find our row and seats. The seats here do not recline, but I do like how wide they are which makes them comfortable. We were here on a Saturday night during the weekend premiere of a movie, and the service was still decent despite being busy. The large popcorn that I ordered was very good and buttery. I was worried about there being no free refill for the popcorn since my hubby and I were sharing, but it was actually a large enough size that filled me up and I didn't need a refill. The theater isn't completely pitch black since there are servers who need to walk around and deliver food, but watching the movie was still enjoyable. The sound quality of the movie was good and I like that this theater isn't super cold like most of the other theaters I go to. read more

This is a great date spot to get dinner and a movie in one place. It's pretty standard pub food type fare-nothing any better or worse than you would get at a Chili's or Applebees but it is nice to be comfy and cozy while you eat and watch a movie. And for dessert, I give to the beingets. Service is pretty prompt and well executed. I also like that they have a bar and tables in the lobby area for before or after your show. read more

This is a really nice clean and well maintained Studio Movie Grill. There were only and handful of people in our theater on a late Saturday afternoon, which was perfect for us. I think most theaters now offer selected seats via app or kiosk in the theater. We did not order any food on this outing, but were pretty amazed at how many workers there were, and how efficient they appeared to be. Plus, some of the servers were nice to look at too...LOL One came by just to check on us to see if we wanted/needed anything, then darted down the aisle to continue with his mission. And, the restrooms were also very clean and well maintained. My only issue was that theater #6 had some sound issues that made some of the dialog a bit muffled and difficult to hear clearly. read more

After a horrible experience where the server took my order, food never showed up, I went to find the server, kitchen closed, they couldn't make my order, had to grab my card, do a refund... I was given free movie passes(only good for a few weeks) and 2 free dessert passes. We ended up walking out because I missed so much of the movie. Weeks later, we are here to watch M3gan. We were pretty much forced to use these tickets now or ultimately miss out on the money we originally spent on the movie. We didn't want to order food because of the mishap before, but felt like ordering dessert with the free dessert passes was playing it safe. On your pull out tray, you can scan the barcode to look at the menu. As the movie got about 15 minutes in, a woman kept shushing a group, about 5-6 people. A few minutes later, all you could hear was her yelling, "THEATER VOICES" very rudely. Over and over. All we could hear, was her. She caused a scene in which staff came in having to break it up. Next thing you know, a drink went flying, more yelling... I believe her boyfriend picked her up and carried her out as she yelled. The staff also asked the other group to exit the theaters, which caused more arguing. The whole thing went on for just under 5 minutes, but the staff was on it fast, trying to find a solution for everyone else trying to enjoy the movie. Thank goodness that was over. A few people got up and left. We got back to our movie and it was nice that the staff came in to check on us. However, they were coming in at crucial moments during the movie, apologizing about the incident and asking us if there was anything they could get for us... we were thankful but slightly irritated with the timing... they had also waited about 35-40 minutes after the incident. They gave us free movie passes that don't expire until June. We eventually ordered the brownie sundae with Ghirardelli ice cream (note: only the ice cream is Ghirardelli) and beignet's with Nutella(note: nutella comes on the side beignet's have no filling.) After 30 minutes, our desert arrived. They were delicious and very messy. We were never brought napkins. We licked our plates clean and then relaxed on the non-reclining chairs. They were comfortable, though! There was just no foot rest on these chairs. I appreciated how the staff acted quickly and professionally to eliminate a bad situation. Thank you. However, timing here, whether it be how long the food takes to talking to us during crucial moments during the movie, needs to be worked on. read more

So, we decided to go as a family to the movie. I thought this might be a fun place to go and have dinner and a movie with the kids. Well, the older kids liked it a lot. My 5-year-old would have liked it, but I picked the wrong movie! (Ghostbusters!) - he got too scared to watch the movie about halfway through. So... we arrived about 25 minutes before showtime. We entered the lobby, looked around, found our way to our theater, and started to head toward our reserved seats, but we were stopped by the cleaning crew and told we needed to head back out and wait until they were done, probably 10 minutes or so. The website says to arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled time?!? Once we got in we found the seats comfortable, they recline and have a nice swivel tray for food and drinks. The menu has nice descriptions of food that sound pretty good. I ordered coconut shrimp & chicken. It was "OK" at best. My wife ordered a burger, again "OK." According to the teens, the Nashville chicken wasn't hot at all, and the turkey burger was just "OK." My 5-year-old liked his kids meal Mac 'n Cheese. As I mentioned, halfway through the film I had to exit the theatre with my son because the movie was just too scary. Luckily, there are plenty of tables in the lobby area around the bar that accommodate folks waiting around for one reason or another. So we sat there chatting and finishing his meal for over an hour until mom and the girls finished the show. Overall, I would go back; but it won't be for dinner. My bf surprised me with tickets to go here! We're so spoiled now when it comes to movie theaters these days. The email said to come 20 mins before the movie showing. We came a bit early and they were still cleaning the theater room. So definitely don't come too early lol. Staff were awesome! Very attentive and friendly. The seats have a little desk table with a red service button to call a staff member over. There's a wide variety of food and drinks! We did a 2 for $30 deal with an appetizer and 2 entrees. We also added a dessert for $5. We ordered pretzel bites w/queso dip, chicken strips w/fries, and a brownie sundae. Overall cool experience but I don't think I'd come all the way out here again. I love this theater but within the last year their servers are so LOUD! They speak too loudly when assisting customers during the movie and they end up disturbing the movie experience. The theater starts every movie about not being disruptive during the movie but their very own staff is the problem. Please go back to the way you were before. read more

I've never been fortunate enough until now to visit a movie theater that serves seafood. I would definitely say the price of the food here is very reasonable and it is indeed well worth it. I enjoyed my burger immensely! I was there to see the 445 showing of the movie, Redfield, which, by the way, was definitely a classic B rated movie. I enjoyed it. The service is incredible. They make sure that they are very attentive and always paying attention, and the food that you buy is prepared exceptionally well with really good ingredients, all I can say is that if you're gonna enjoy a movie? I really like the fact you can get some bites and cocktails when you watch your movie. The prices are pretty in line of that of your typical suburban chain restaurant. The staff was great in making sure you got your food/drinks before the movie started. You either have to ring for them to come get your dishes, or bring them down to the bottom (floor level) if you finish in the middle of the movie. Thankfully there is a decent about space between rows so if someone in the row in front of you gets up or has a server servicing, your view is not fully obstructed. read more

This was our second time at this movie theater. We bought our tickets ahead of time online and it was convenient. Walked up to the counter and they gave us our printed receipt for the seats that we had chosen beforehand. We sat down and pushed our sevice button and a couple minutes later our server, Julian, came by to take our order. Julian was friendly and greeted us with a smile. We ordered a brownie sundae. It was quite large. It is certainly big enough to share. The facility was clean there were no issues with the sound quality. Towards the end of the movie Julian brought us our bill so we squared up and left. A nice way to pass the time on an ordinary Tuesday night. read more

The last time i went here was when IT: part one came out. It was just okay but very overpriced and overrated. The only reason i came here again is because it's what my dad wanted to do for father's day. This visit only reminded me of why i NEVER go here. First... the seats are terribly uncomfortable. The padding was stiff. They only have 2 settings, slightly reclined and sitting straight up. Both very awkward. Second... We ordered the burger and fries and the chicken and waffles. we ordered about 30 minutes before the previews started. Then there was 20 minutes of previews. Then, 5 minutes after the lights went out, we got our food. Thats when i discovered the $15 chicken and waffles came with 3 tiny chicken tenders the size of my thumb and 2 hard waffles the size of hockey pucks all served at room temperature. I sent it back and they refunded the order. I ordered something else, opting for the burger and fries, which they dont list the price on the menu btw. Which then took another 30 minutes to get. We completely missed the first 20-30 minutes of the movie because of this ordeal. read more

The service was great, the chairs have been updated and are more comfortable. The new menu is interesting, the hatch chili chicken pasta has a bit of a kick to it with pene pasta. I wasn't a huge fan, however my daughter loved the chicken and waffles. One downside, the family that sat beside us came late. Therefore they ordered food and received their food during the movie. Aside from all the negative reviews, we had to try and experience it ourselves. We purchased tickets online, super easy. Arrived at the front desk/host, he scanned our barcode and printed our seats, directed us to our theater room and told us to have a good time:) Upon finding our seats a nice theater staff asked if we needed help with finding our seats we said yes and she guided us. Yes, it wasn't hard to find our seats but the effort of her asking and helping is what counts which was another plus:) We sat down and got comfortable. We noticed that it didn't have reclining seats like the newer theaters but come on if we wanted that we could've gone there. We wanted food, drinks and good time whether it be sitting up or reclining. Yes, the seats could maybe use a little bit of TLC but no complaints here. There's a button you can click on for service. Once the service button is on- within minutes the server comes over to take your orders. After a brief moment we got our cocktails, then came our appetizers. -There was a good time gap between each dish we ordered which allowed us to enjoy each item we got. Everything was served in timely manner, big plus. I don't get why people complain about servers doing what their supposed to do during the movie. Evidently, you knew coming to a movie and grill- the food and beverage would have to be served from somewhere. I applaud the service. Thank you for getting my popcorn etc, I didn't have to scramble in a long line juggling six different things back to my seat. I am courteous and mindful so we booked the seats on the main isle corner seats so it wouldn't distract anyone. We got two hurricanes alcohol beverages, two sodas, brisket sliders, wings, strawberry salad and the loaded fries. Everything was great! I see a lot of bad reviews about the nachos but that's just nachos in general anywhere you go. It gets cold and soggy within 5-10 mins. So, I got the fries- which I so highly recommend!!! Mmmmmm! We had such a great time watching, "Violent Night". Great upbeat staff, management and host. Big and spacious atmosphere, a nice bar + TVs for sports and all. I'm surprise they weren't busy for a Friday night. This place is my ideal place to be. Downtown is just played out but whom am I to say. What a fantastic experience this was! My sister and I enjoyed this theater and it's astounding service like you wouldn't believe! Everything about it was perfect! From its cleanliness, to its PAPER menus (thank you VERY much!), to the attendants at your seat, it was worth EVERY penny we paid. We were also not disappointed by the menu selections either. The theater's seats seems pretty old, they need replacement and it's not even comfortable /no cushion/no reclining .. it's outdated! Food wise... is even worse. Small selection, pricey and cold/Luke warm food. Ordered the ballpark chicken nachos ($12). Cheese was salty ( did not used the normal nachos cheese) chicken was cold, chips were soggy. I inadvertently did not purchase enough tickets for my family to see a special holiday screening of Elf. The staff in the theater went way out of the way to find an extra chair for us, which we were not expecting. They basically saved our family Christmas experience!!! The only complaint I have is that the staff at the ticket counter didn't seem like they could be bothered to help us solve our problem, but the rest of the staff went way above and beyond! (This was not the issue), my issue is that they gave us EXPIRED tickets to refund the movie and these tickets you have to buy in person. My maiden visit to Studio Movie Grill Rocklin to see The Batman. Pretty simple to reserve 2 seats via Fandango, although they only had an 8:15PM showtime on the day of the week which worked best for us, which was not for the weak considering it's almost a 3-hour runtime. Scan the QR code for menu options. Decided on the 2 for $30 Sharing Menu. You can share one starter (pretzel bites, chips and salsa, small popcorn, 1/2 cheese fries, or 1/2 nachos), pick two entrees (chicken tenders or bites, any salad, pizza, or flatbread). Adding a dessert is +$5 (brownie sundae, chocolate chip or snickerdoodle cookie, or theater treats like M&Ms, Milk Duds, Buncha Crunch, Raisinets, Sour Patch Kids, Twizzlers). By the time the food came out, the movie had started so I didn't get to take any photos at all of what we got, but we did choose the pretzels, and two orders of the chicken tenders, and 1 fountain drink each. The pretzel bites weren't as soft as I expected, and the "creamy queso" was just okay. Next time I might just go for the popcorn, nachos or cheese fries. The chicken tenders come with a choice of honey mustard, honey barbecue, thai chili, or red hot dipping sauce. What, no ranch dressing? I got the mustard. These came with 4 decently sized pieces, which were crispy and more than warm, which were good and came with thick (steak?) fries and ketchup. I had a large-sized Mountain Dew to get me through the long film, paper straws, also ice water. No refills on soda. Considered one of the margaritas but that would probably have made me sleepy. They did have a "Reel Blue" mocktail though. Not sure how big the pizzas/flatbreads would have been but the tenders were filling, not messy, and easy to munch on in the dark theater. There was a little red-lit button you could press to summon a server. The seats do not recline, and the seat number on my swivel table was completely missing (Auditorium 4, F5 or F6?). The cup holders were sticky at the bottom. It's a neat concept and they have the dining area outside the movie auditoriums if you just want to eat. I have previously been to Alamo Drafthouse in Texas, and the layout of those seats in TX had it so that even when the server brings you your food, they never would obstruct your view of the movie. Take note, Studio Movie Grill! The movie tickets themselves were about $13 each, and the food/drink even with the 2 for $30 still came out to $40ish plus tip. The food didn't seem to take too long to arrive. Stayed till the end of the credits but this is DC not Marvel so no post-credits scene to see there, folks. Can't comment on restrooms but parking is plentiful and easy. Tuesdays are apparently $6 tickets (Adult) which is a great discount. read more

Watched the Minions and enjoyed a bbq pizza! I've never been to a movie theater that served food like this before! It was fun! They have trays that you can eat on. Menus can be found scanning the code found on your personal tray with your phone. Lots of food and drink Items to choose from. There's a service button when you're ready to order. They do have to go boxes for your leftovers. I'd recommend getting to your movie about 20 minutes early; that about how long it took for my pizza to come out (if you don't feel like scrolling through your phone menu during the movie).
