We really enjoyed lunch today at the Cheesecake Factory. We had to wait a little longer that was estimated (arrived just before 2:00 and seated at 2:25), and it took awhile after being seated for our order to be taken, so our lunch probably came around 3:00. The Cajun shrimp appetizer was really good, and so was the lemon garlic shrimp with linguine I ordered off the lighter menu. The garlic sauce was nice and light but had great flavor, and the shrimp was very fresh and cooked perfectly. My granddaughter ordered the old fashioned cheeseburger, so I'm sure she enjoyed it. The best part are the cheesecakes, with so many delicious varieties to choose from, but we were too full to order any because it's over 109 degrees outside to take any leftover cheesecake with us. Haven't been to Cheesecake Factory in awhile. Sooo many options! Menu has changed a little and they seemed to have a little healthier options with a lot more choices on their skinnyliciuos menu and bowls. Got a bowl and asked the server if I could swap out the poke for the seared ahi tuna tataki. Also asked if there was any dressing on the greens and if there was, to have it on the side. I was happy they were able to accommodate my first request but the ahi slices were thin and only about 3 Oz. The greens also came with the dressing on it. Tried to find our server to get that mistake fixed but we didn't see her for awhile so I just ate it. Flavor was ok though. Service was so so. My personal favorites are the grilled salmon, Thai chili shrimp, and the Gumbo. Decided to eat here for lunch with my hubby for my birthday. Made an online reservation for 1pm and as expected it was packed inside and very busy. Lots of people including their party were still waiting the waiting area to be seated. I checked in and didn't have wait long to be seated at a booth that I specifically requested. Our server, Khris was very attentive and quick to take our order. It took a while for our appetizer and entrees to arrive but it was understandable because it was very busy. As for our food, I ordered the Parmesan Herb Crusted chicken. Although portion was huge I didn't really enjoy it. I didn't really like the sauce paired with it. I usually get my go to entree of Herb Crusted Filet of Salmon which I think I will stick to. My husband order the Bistro Burger. It was just okay and something he wont order again. Worst pasta carbonara I've ever had. Basically came out like a bowl of pasta in a very thin soupy concoction that ALMOST tasted like a parmesan cream sauce. No body or thickness despite the waiter's addition of parmesan cheese in abundance. I know how to make this dish. When done correctly, it's awesome. I don't know cheese cake factory what's going on? The 3 stars is simply for the swiftness in service and accommodations for seating. When being seated our waitress seemed like she was in such a hurry, making sure we have the bare minimum necessities. It seems like maybe she was under a lot of pressure but you can tell that she was already annoyed on her shift. Our food came out quickly and was good, but was disappointed in my mocktail that had 3 sips worth of beverage and the rest ice. My husband kept it simple with the Classic Cheese Burger and sweet potato fries, and I went with the Double Smash Cheeseburger (which I was told was the lightest of the burger options) and truffle fries. Came here for a late lunch with my sisters and initially had a great experience. When ordering, I specifically asked for the chicken to be served on the side--not just on the plate, but completely separate--since we were sharing and one of us is vegetarian for religious reasons. Our waitress, Aneya, noted this correctly and was attentive and kind throughout. However, when the food arrived, it was brought by a different server, and the chicken was placed on the same plate as the pasta. We pointed it out to him, and I clarified again that the chicken should not have been on the plate at all due to dietary restrictions. His response suggested a misunderstanding, as if "on the side of the plate" was acceptable. Less than three minutes later, a "new" dish was brought out by who appeared to be an assistant manager. Unfortunately, it was immediately clear that it was the same plate--just with the chicken removed and placed separately. You could still see exactly where the chicken had been, the was literally an identical and leftover chicken parm crumbs in that section of the pasta. This was especially disappointing given how simple it would have been to prepare a fresh dish, particularly for something like pasta. It raised serious concerns about food handling and respect for dietary restrictions. We spoke with a manager and explained the situation. We made it clear we were not looking for a free meal--we paid for the rest of our food and drinks (over $100)--but asked for the dishes brought out to be taken back and paid for what we consumed. I hesitated to leave a review, but this experience felt like a breach of trust, especially when it comes to dietary and religious considerations. My husband and I with our 4 year old ate there yesterday, on a Monday for lunch. We were seated after about a 5 minute wait. When we got to our table, our server didn't seem to happy to be there? And it was unfortunately the one with mushrooms, which I'm allergic to. Other than that, all of the food was good. This review is actually 4.5 stars because the pizza was doughy in the middle. I ordered the Bee Sting Flatbread Pizza. I was disappointed because it was not cooked all the way in the center. It was very delicious but I couldn't taste the honey. My husband ordered the Carne Asada Steak. The meat was very tender and flavorable. The side of corn was some of the best that I have ever tasted. The portion size was enough for 2 people. Service was quick and efficient. My only other issue is that the noise level is so high. You can't go to the Cheesecake Factory without ordering cheesecake.
