Been coming here for about 3 years & been a nail girlie for over a decade; I've come to learn my nails love builder gel rather than regular gel/gelX mani. Considering I'm double jointed & my natural nail lifts by default. I'm glad I found this place after moving here & so far I've been loving it. Place is always clean, service always respectful & welcoming + I appreciate they catch the memo when I plug in my pods to listen to my book/show. Their complementary coffee is strong & appreciated, communication to book appointments always efficient, and the fact that my nails last me 4-6 weeks is amazing! Have gotten my nails done by the owner, Siranush, Diana, Fatemeh, & now Meline(Meline did my latest nail design: green stripes w/ a pop of hot pink). Usually opt for anyone that is available since I request for early morning appointments and so far everyone has treated my nails nicely!(:

absolutely love Mel and Monika ! They are both incredibly talented, detail-oriented, and truly care about their work. Every time I go in, my nails come out beautiful and flawless. Since I started going to them, I've noticed such a difference--my nails feel stronger, last over a month, and never chip or lift. That alone says everything about the quality of their work. I went to Studio Nail Bar for a gel manicure and gel pedicure, and I absolutely loved it! Everything was very clean and professional, and they took their time to make sure everything looked perfect. My nails came out beautiful and I'm so happy with the results. The staff was so kind and welcoming too. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

This is 3 weeks post mani - I attempted to round out the sharper corners. At least the product is holding without lift or cracking.

I reached out to Studio Nail Bar for a hard gel mani (including a hard gel removal from a previous mani). They quoted me $70, which would have been fine for the quality of the nail shaping and the hard gel application I ended up getting. When I asked for softer/rounder edges (before the hard gel was applied), my nail tech said she would do it after the hard gel application. Despite telling her exactly what I wanted, I ended up with square nails - it wasn't what I wanted or asked for, and there was little she could do correct it because the application had already set. I also asked for a soft French mani for Mother's Day weekend, which resulted in an extra charge. My nails look like little teeth. I paid $95 for my set. There was very little conversation in English, which is fine. I was in a more relaxed mood and enjoyed people watching. This seemed to be popular service spot for folk who spoke Armenian. The vibes were nice; very pink and floral, music and music videos on their main TV. While the salon set up was nice, the service did not align with what I was looking for.

"GEL NAIL POLISH" lifting off after one day

If I could leave zero stars for this place I would, as someone who gets their nails done on a monthly basis since she's been 15 yrs old, by now I know the step to step process on how the nails get prepped and how the system works. I'm very disappointed and enraged at their services. As soon as I walked in with my mother and little sister we felt some type of tension, with all the nails techs looking at us weird and just not being as welcoming as they were with other costumers. HUGE RED FLAG!!!! The salon looked very nice and pink which is why we stayed there not knowing that our services would be 10x worse. My mom got a gel manicure/pedicure My sister got regular polish I got gel pedicure Our total for all this was $210 dollars which is no issue, but for $210 you would expect the techs to take their time in crafting the service. WRONG, my little sister got regular polish and the nail tech finished in 15-20 mins, once I looked at her nails she had polish all over her cuticles and I had to kindly ask the tech to come back and remove the polish for her literal fingers not nails but from her fingers. We went on a Saturday, that same Saturday night my 10yr old sisters polish came off, she doesn't do any hard labor like wash dishes or do laundry. On Sunday morning my moms GEL manicure started lifting off but the afternoon she had no polish on 8 of her fingers!!!! I tried contacting them through Instagram demanding a refund, they said we could come in a fix it but at that point we didn't want to go through the same service again, she said we could come in so they could "correct the nails properly" but then she claimed they did not believe the nails were done incorrectly basically contradicting herself. Honestly horrible service and experience! Never going back there again!

Best service in Burbank. My go to salon. Staff is very friendly, salon is very clean. Highly recommended!:)

I got the Gel X extensions twice here now and loved them! The people who work there are super friendly and funny. My friends and I had a good time. I even brought my boyfriend to get a pedicure and the lady who did his was great at making him comfortable and have not awkward conversation haha. Such a great find in my neighborhood! My first experience there and very positive. Had a gel manicure done with Anahid, who was attentive, detailed, and asked for my feedback repeatedly during my service. Thanks to Yelp I was able to find this cute gem! Minutes away from the hotel I was staying at. I was in need of an emergency nail trim and they took me in right away after I called. The ladies are all so nice and accommodating. They have a wide variety of nail polish. Huge THANK YOU to Meline for getting my cuticles all nice & clean and also getting me out the shop in time for my meeting. Fast and efficient! If I'm ever in town again I'll be sure to come by! PRE- CLOSURE visit: As a female in her 20s I have been getting my nails done for YEARS! I have had it all, acrylic, gel mani, gel x.. you name it. I'm super picky with my nails since I have them naturally long most of the time. My real long nails had happened to break and I was in need of a full set that was clean and natural looking. I came across Studio Nail bar and didn't hesitate to drive from Tarzana. They are so clean and constantly make sure you are not enjoying the experience but also that you love your nails. This is my favorite nail salon, it's very clean and cute. Kiso is the best, she takes her time to make sure my nails are perfect. I always get a lot of compliments and they last long. She's also super sweet and easy to talk to. Book with her you won't regret. 10/10 recommend this salon read more

The amount of bullying and disrespect I witnessed today was ridiculous. To start I'm Armenian but the receptionist and the nail tech doing my pedicure didn't know that I was Armenian. The receptionist told the pedicure tech that the nail color was nice, but it didn't suit me in Armenian but didn't have the balls to tell me in English. The entire time they were speaking about their Persian coworker and how she was not working fast enough, but funny enough the Armenian lady who was doing my pedicure, took over an hour and a half to complete a gel pedicure service, which is completely ridiculous and a waste of time. When my pedicure lady was done with my feet, she put cuticle oil on my nails, which gives me the go-ahead to put on my shoes. She assumed that she forgot to put the top coat on, but never asked me, but rather spoke behind my back somehow blaming me for putting my shoes on before she could inspect my feet, The last time I checked when you put cuticle oil on someone's nails you're saying you're done with your work. Oh and PSA if you can greet your customers and speak to them in English, you can talk to your Persian coworker in English, it doesn't give you the right to talk shit in Armenian I hate that bully ass shit. read more

Such a cute hidden gem in Burbank. I'd recommend this place if you are looking for a small attentive staff. Anna did my nails and they came out really beautiful and she kept letting me know to tell her if I was in any pain which I wasn't! Only thing was I wish they would had more staff because I did have to wait to do my pedicure. Other than that I'll definitely be coming back! UPDATE: I left to run some errands and came back for the pedicure and Anna offered a special pedicure treatment which was so sweet and refreshing. It is truly appreciated. I never had any acrylic or fake nails before and it took me very long time to decide on getting GELX. BEST & MOST BEAUTIFUL nails I've ever had. My nail tech Meghoo was so professional and detailed. She perfectly shaped my nails and the gel application was so clean, not forget to mention she is super fast. After my nails was done I could hardly tell i was wearing fake nails, very clean, light and natural looking ( I absolutely hate when the nails are so thick and over polished). My nails lasted for almost a month without cheeping or braking. When I went back to her to get a new set, she removed the old ones without hurting or damaging my natural nails. I love how clean and professional she is. I would definitely recommend this place and if I could I would give it 10 stars. read more

We had a reservation for Mothers day for four girls - Mani & Pedi's The ladies at the salon were so nice and helpful. Everyone had a great time and our nails came out great. The only reason for deducting one star is one of the employees kept venting about everything and everyone. There was no need and thank goodness, I ended up with her, or else my very special mothers day for my friend would have been awful. read more

I've been looking for a new nail salon for awhile, and stumbled across studio nail bar. Every nail tech does a great job, but Christina is my go to! She's so sweet, personable and thoughtful. She checks in with me frequently to make sure there isn't any pain and is very meticulous when it comes to any nail design. I always get so many compliments on my nails and always leave very satisfied. Additionally, my nails last super long. I could have gone 4 weeks between sets. read more

After going to the same nail salon for 10+ years, I was hesitant to leave my girls. I thought I would make the drive back after I moved to Burbank, but driving 40 minutes for a manicure seemed a little crazy with all this LA traffic. I saw there was a very cute little pink salon on my street and tried it out. My manicure was amazing and the girls were so nice. Almost a year later, I am still going to Studio Nail. Haven't missed my nail salon once. I love their selection of colors, there's always fun music on, Salon is clean and the girls are quick, but thorough. Melanie, Rose, Meg- all of them really, they're all so sweet and I look forward to my bi-weekly manicure-pedicure. Highly recommend! read more

Let me just start by saying that I paid $70 ( which I think was an upcharge because of my race, couldn't check because they don't have posted prices anywhere ) for gel X nails that popped off like press ons within 5 days. I'll follow that by saying that maybe if the owner wasn't showing my nail tech pictures on her phone by reaching over me several times while she was doing my nails, maybe they would have lasted longer. I felt a very hostile energy from the owner. She spoke with/ checked in all of her white patrons but didn't utter a word to me. If you are black, please try to find another shop because clearly the owner does not want you there. My nail tech, Meline, was a sweetheart but not sweet enough for me to waste $70 on nails that don't last. Do better Studio Nail Bar. I really wanted to like you all. read more

I went on Memorial Day and was initially excited they were open and were able to take us with short notice. My mother and I decided to go in after calling other locations with no avail. Initially, it seemed like a small but intimate place which seemed fairly busy. I enjoyed that one lady would check on people and make sure they were content (although it only lasted for about 5 minutes before she stopped checking ). My mum got a regular mani/pedi with just a clear coat for mani. The lady working on her toes was kind of rude. My mum ended up telling me her fingers were hurting so bad the day right after and she just showed me that they are peeling and bleeding today (2 days after). They grind your cuticles off so I'm assuming it was from that which I think isn't up to code but anyhow it's overly expensive for what they provide. The lady who worked on my feet didn't even give me a massage and the chairs are basic without a massage or heat option. Colors are very limited from the book we were given with mainly just being different shades of pink and purple. I really wanted to support this business but I can't since they weren't fully professional, overly priced and caused us pain... read more

Absolutely terrible service and unskilled nail techs. I showed up for my 12pm appointment at 11:48am. I wasn't seated until 12:55pm. No apologies were made whatsoever. My nail tech was rude, unapproachable, and spent the entire time criticizing me and my nails. I was polite and courteous the entire time, but it seemed as if my nail tech hated their life and the fact that they even had to be there. They were incredibly rough with me. The room is also extremely hot and humid. Anytime I tried to speak up about my discomfort, instead of addressing me, my nail tech would face her coworkers and speak about me in Armenian. After a while, it made me really uncomfortable as it was clear they were talking about me. If you're looking for a new nail salon in the Burbank/Glendale area, go literally anywhere else. Otherwise, you'll leave in pain with a cheap and tacky-looking nail that is extremely overpriced. read more

They can copy to a T any design I show from Pinterest. I get hard gel with gel polish and they are very meticulous with the shape. Anahit is absolutely amazing. I love coming to this salon because everyone is very friendly and attentive. I have had my nails done by almost every tech here and I always go back to Anahit. She takes such good care of me. She's very pleasant and attentive. She asks me if everything is okay and takes her time to ensure she doesn't cause any pain ever. She is amazing at what she does. Customer service could improve greatly (not welcoming, don't communicate well, and seem judgmental), place was dirty, equipment used was also dirty (towels, bowls, nail filers, towels, etc.) and nail work was fair. Would not recommend this place mainly for the customer service. Do better. read more

What sets them apart from other places is that they really care about your nail health (won't overdrill/overbuff, very careful with removals, etc). For my birthday, my friend and I decided to get our nails done together, and I thought Organic Nail House was the best place to go. Julie was my tech that day, and she was absolutely lovely. I got hard gel nails done in Japan, and it took awhile to remove, but she handled it with such care. My nails still felt strong. I chose to do white 002 with #13 chrome and it turned out so beautiful!!! I am literally obsessed with this new color and can't stop looking at it in the light!!! I may want to just do this combination every single time!! The salon itself is a very relaxing environment. Especially coming on a weekday, it was extra peaceful and lovely. NOTE: The amount of hypocrisy in the messages they respond to reviews on here is incredible. They consistently use the terminology that they "value loyalty" - yet again, if you dare to cancel an appointment (respectfully, with communication), their way of handling, it will be to punish you. So no amount of polite "up speak" or other comments can make up for the fact that this is how they actually handle loyal customers. For some reason, the ownership, which is a partnership between Patti, and her male counterpart, believe that you've committed some horrible offense if you dare to reschedule your appointment. They're one of 1000 manicure salons in Los Angeles, and they happen to be right down the street from some major Studios, so how insane is it that they find it offensive that busy folk in the entertainment industry might need to occasionally reschedule their appointment??! I've been a loyal customer for over five months, having put up with some of the rudeness and entitlement, because there was one Manicurist, who always did a decent job. I even on one occasion them brought them expensive smoothies because I happen to be grabbing one for myself... But did it stop them from being rude when three months later I needed to reschedule an appointment?! No. In fact, they acted as if I wasn't a loyal customer, and as if I had done something atrocious, like missed an appointment, without bothering to request the appropriate change. My reason for cancellation? I had had a serious medical situation come up. I even offered to pay for my missed appointment, but all I got back was that I was no longer welcome to schedule with that particular Manicurist, because her time and schedule is very important. They also then told me the only way that I could book in a future appointment would be online- so I was being punished for having a medical emergency and having the audacity to actually try to reschedule a manicure appointment! I have all the texts to prove this, if annyone out there wishes proof of this. Additionally, they lied, and said that "due to my several cancellations" - when I literally had only had ONE cancellation, five months, previous, again to due to illness. I don't know if this cruel and vindictive behavior that does not value, loyalty and kindness is because the owners are just unkind human beings, or if they're just so overwhelmed with always being shortstaffed that they've decided the only way to handle their personal upset is to take it out on loyal customers. Doesn't matter. I immediately rescheduled with an outstanding manicure salon that just opened literally five minutes from them, and so far those two appointments have been outstanding. Bel-Air Nails. But really, as we all know, there's thousands of good nail salons in Los Angeles, this is definitely not one of them. Thank you. - Kathryn B.

Regular and gel. Jamy, told me to take a seat, and without an appointment they welcomed me with open arms. Nick, her husband did my pedicure, and did heck of a great job!! He was also very funny. He was professional, knew his job well and was extremely meticulous about his work. They have 4 chairs to do their manicure, and 5 massage chairs to do their pedicure. Thankfully, the TV was on and it was not the depressing, sad, violent news. They were showing Americas got Talent. Also, soft music would have been nice to listen too. After he was done with my pedicure Jamy, took me inside their room where they do waxing. I needed to wax my under arms, and eye brows. She did a great job; and for both services they charged me $58.00. Even though they are the business owners, I still tipped them well. Place was super clean, with cute decor here and there. Parking shared with other businesses, and one gender neutral restroom also very clean. She even gave me a $2.00 off for my waxing. My only critique is that the massage that Nick did on my legs/feet was too short. Didn't even last 3 minutes. I also like the pressure to be medium to medium hard. He hand strong hands, but didn't deliver. I will definitely visit this salon when I am in the area. Highly recommend to others. I had hard Gel on my nails from my old place. Not chips or cracks! I was asking for my nails to be cut all the way down and hard gel again. Ben was the tech, he used a dremel to grind off what was on my nails and to cut down the length. I first had to keep telling him to go shorter and shorter. He then used the nail file and it still wasn't getting them short enough and they were extremely crooked. I had to point out about 8 of the 10 nails one by one that need to be leveled out. He then did his thing painting them. I got no lotion, no cuticle cutting, no hand message. Just the Dremel, file, paint, light and oil. About 3 hrs later 1 nail chipped. I went back and Rose tried to corrected it. She removed everything off the nail again. Placed some type of liquid hardener, cure it, but did not smooth it out so after it was painted it looked rippled. By that night a 2nd nail cracked, by morning a 3rd nail chipped. I wasn't doing any house work or anything to cause it. By day day 3, I have 3 chipped and 1 cracked nail and that's not mentioning the one they corrected. $50 for Hard Gel and 2 Visit, tipping both visits. Gone! Update: 7 days later my nails are so messed up. I really wanted to possibly go back and give them one more chance but absolutely not!

Both Ani and Anna were very attentive throughout the appointment and kept checking to make sure I liked the shape and cuticle work, which I appreciated. I especially loved my pedicure. The only issue was with my manicure. Toward the end, I noticed a piece of dust trapped under the gel or top coat on one of my nails. Since it's something I'll probably notice every day for the next few weeks, I pointed it out when she asked if everything was okay. She checked it and added another layer of top coat, but the dust was still visible. I'm not someone who likes confrontation, so I ended up just leaving, even though I knew I'd probably regret not speaking up more. Overall, everyone was kind and detail-oriented, and I really enjoyed the pedicure. I just wish the manicure issue had been fixed before I left.

This is my second time coming to this salon and I love the work they do. When I walked in it was very professional and everyone greeted you and made you feel welcomed. My first time I went the first thing I noticed is how clean they are and how they sanitize everything after they are done with it. I got a regular pedicure with a Gel-X full set and I'm very satisfied with the outcome. I had different technicians do my feet and hands and they were both gentle and payed attention to detail. I always have such a great experience here! Mel is my go-to for Gel-X manicures, and they always come out perfect. Fatima does my polish pedicures, and she's so thorough. I always leave happy. My nail tech, Diana, did an amazing job and was very professional and attentive. The receptionist, Ani, was incredibly kind and welcoming. This is my first time at studio nails. As soon as I came in the owner accommodated me. Most importantly the salon was super clean not a single dirt any where, everyone was social distanced and with a mask. Meghrik did my nails amazing, I love the design the quality and the feeling of being amazing getting them did. Studio Nail bar is my go to nail salon. Entering with the warmth of every technician, you feel welcome. I usually hate entering nail salons, but I always feel so happy entering with a bunch of hellos and smiles. The cleanliness is also a plus, which is honestly the most important part in self indulgence. I have tried a lot of the technicians, and they are all amazing. I've never had a manicure this detailed before. The Russian manicure technique makes such a huge difference -- my cuticles look perfectly clean. And the staff is so friendly, always bring me cappuccino and little chocolates. You can tell so much care goes into the work, and the results last way longer than a regular manicure. They've watched me grow up since I've been coming here since my family moved to the area many moons ago. I can't recall a time in my life where I didn't step through their doors every 2-3 weeks if not sooner, so when they had to close their doors in March a very big part of my routine and life changed. I'm so grateful they are open now. All the new safety precautions are in place and I feel completely comfortable coming here. They are welcoming back customers in masks of course, taking temperatures, forms to be filled out, plexi glass dividers, new routines etc. But it's all worth it to be able to have my normal gel mani and pedi. I have complete trust and faith in the owners of Lovely Nails to keep their customers safe. I hope you too, will have the same respect for them and their families. I love coming here not only because they always do a great job but because I care about them as well. Hearing today about how their own family members feel about them returning to work really made me realize that as much as I missed my normal mani/pedis I also have a great concern for their safety and well being. If for some reason you aren't well or think there's any chance you've been exposed, have the courtesy to not come in. Please. If you're healthy give them some business, tip well! They've been closed for months and are here to welcome the public in (by appointment only, unless you happen to walk in and they have availability- but please call first and check, just seems healthier that way). Helen does my manis and Diane does my pedis. Michael and Annie are also both equally as amazing, but you know I'm a creature of habit and don't bounce around unless I need to. They have a ton of gel options and they typically last three weeks. Their prices are reasonable and affordable. Really, I can't say enough about them but my continued business for over 20 years should easily speak to how much I value the services they provide. I haven't lived in the area for a very long time and there are a ton of options everywhere but I drive here because I am always happy with the job they do. So, ladies and gents! Time go get those nails looking great again. Show them some love here. Cash only, which is the only downfall since cash is a wee bit tough to come by nowadays (seems people are clearing it out of atms at an alarming rate). If you're like me and Apple Pay for everything, grab some cash back from the grocery store or something prior to your visit. Private parking lot, with a liquor store, donut shop and pretty popular Mexican joint in case you're also looking for dine take out or something.

I came in for a removal and a regular manicure ($32) since I can't keep gel on due to work. I had only gotten Gel X here once, after having strong, natural nails for almost a year. During the removal, I was told my nails were very thin and that the streaks I noticed were not leftover gel, but due to the condition of my nails. This was surprising to hear, especially since my nails were healthy prior to that visit. I also paid for a regular manicure, but my cuticles weren't addressed until I pointed it out my concerns. At that point, I didn't feel comfortable bringing up concerns about the nail shape as well. I kind of feel ripped off, which isn't a nice feeling. I'm not someone who likes to be confrontational, and I usually leave satisfied even if they aren't perfect, but this visit unfortunately left a bad impression. I hope this feedback is helpful, as I do think the team is kind--I just wish they treated me the same when I came in for a removal as when I come in for a mani/pedi gel set.

I was left with nails that had half the polish missing, and one of my biggest pet peeves is having overly chipped nails. So on my lunch break, I walked in hoping they could take me, and they did! My nails were finished with about 10 minutes left in my break, so the gel removal and manicure took about 50 minutes. I did already have half of the polish chipped off, so that may have helped speed things up. I love the color, loved my manicurist, and my gel manicure has lasted over three weeks with no chips. I also appreciated that they accepted me as a walk-in and how quickly they worked. Even if some people might consider it "rushed," I ended up with an awesome manicure. I'll definitely be coming back!

I was gonna wait for a pedicure but decided not to after seeing the moldy pedicure tubs. She offered to do them quick in 10 mins and I said no thank you lol. This place is not clean. Ann, the owner, is personable, and the best nail tech is hands down, Lo-ann. I have been seeing her for pedicures for 20 years --- she's got a loyal customer in me! Nancy does great manicure. She's very careful and detail-oriented. Just make sure that you have an appointment because these two ladies are BUSY all the time!

I had a great first experience and it was just as great today. I had Lin. I told her I had a sensitive spot on one of my cuticles and she handled it with great care. They're in a big plaza with Pavillions so parking is never an issue. They also have 4-5 people working at any time so you can actually get in and even do it with a friend.
