Literally the best nail salon I have visited. All of the staff was so attentive and sweet. Bryan was my nail tech and when I say I am amazed!!! He focused on every detail and did exactly what I wanted. I went to multiple salons and was turned away because what I wanted would take too long and it seemed too intricate. The other two ladies that were working were always checking of I needed water or a break. So sweet! My phone even died and they brought me a charge mid way. I brought my daughter in to get her nails done and overall the service started off fine. However, after her nails were finished, I noticed some of the polish had come off on the side of one nail. I politely asked if a little more polish could be added to fix that spot. The technician called the manager over, and he initially told me that additional polish wasn't needed. It was a bit frustrating because the issue was visible and easy to correct. Thankfully, the technician who worked on my daughter's toenails understood what I was asking and agreed that the area needed more polish and fixed it. I appreciate that the technician helped resolve the issue, but the interaction with management and the lady who did her nails could have been handled better. When a customer politely points out a small fix, it should be taken seriously instead of dismissed. read more

Jenny said yes so I said I would like that one please. I was a little hesitant but decided to go ahead with her color choice. Jenny said it's a new brand they just got in and it's similar to the one I wanted. We did color by 7 Star and it's was a perfect match!! I don't know the name of the color only the brand name. Update: I got nail fungus from them!!!!!! I got nail fungus from there! Not only they over charge for the crappy work they do but also apparently their tools aren't steril! They refill your nails purposely further away from nail skin so you have come back almost every week. I'm just so done with this place. Your results really depends who will see you that day. I have been there multiple times getting the same thing done over n over yet the price vary every time and it's not 5$ difference no it's 15-20$ ! After going to another nail salon in the neighborhood for several years, I needed to find a new place that did DIPIT fill in because I became unhappy with my previous place. Tony does DIPIT, a better alternative than acrylic or gel for your nails if you want semi permanent nails. Tony is a friendly, courteous, professional who took very good care of my nails. I also had a pedicure which was very clean and relaxing. I am now a regular going every 4 weeks. They except credit cards, their prices are reasonable, and in this time of Covid, I feel very safe there. read more

This facility has wonderfully trained technicians. Their work is impeccable and the service wonderful. They make certain customer hands are washed as soon as a customer walks in, there are plastic partitions (manicures only) between the technician and customer, gloves are worn and replaced with each customer and everyone wears masks. I've been here a few times before, maybe 3. I had great experiences then which is why I returned. Everyone there is very nice and all the ladies are sweet. Today was a little different. I sat in the chair with my feet in the water for about 25-30 min, which is fine- it's a Sunday, I expected a longer wait. But then when my pedicure began, it was highly rushed. By this I mean I timed it- 15 minutes from start to finish, when my flip flops were put back on my feet. The menu description said 30- and it was always like that before. There were customers who were present before I began my wait and still hadn't left until my manicure was almost done. Two of them had the same basic pedicure as me. I don't know about you, or them, but at least half the reason I get pedicures is for the relaxation part of it, along with the leg/foot massage. There was nothing relaxing about this. Quick scrub, rinse, and a super fast lotion application...I mentioned I didn't have a remote for the chair, and they seemed like they went to look for one but then I never heard anything about it again. I mentioned my water was cold since I'd been sitting there for 30 min, but it wasn't adjusted. The icing on the cake though was when my stuff was taken to the manicure table..I went to twist open my carbonated drink for the first time, but it must have been dropped on its way to the table because it fizzed out all over me, soaking me, the chair, floor, everything. So I sat there, damp, for the entire manicure, the whole experience very UN-relaxing. I didn't necessarily want to leave this review because everyone there is very nice and sweet, but this experience wasn't what I'd come in for today. Oh well, maybe next time, or somewhere else. read more

Amazing nail techs and salon! For the past six months, Alamo Nails is the only nail salon I've used. I normally get the dip powder for my nails and a classic pedicure. I work late often (lawyer), and even if I walk in right before their scheduled closing time, they take me and complete 1.5-2 hour services with a smile. Andy is my nail tech, but Trish is great as well. When my mom visits, she goes to Trish. The salon is always clean and they offer complimentary beverages, including wine, which is a nice touch. I would definitely recommend that anyone who visits or lives in the Stone Oak area to try Alamo Nails. You will not be disappointed. read more

Then one day I walked in and my absolute favorite manicurist was there as a new employee (she and her husband moved from another establishment), I was in "7th heaven." Very unorganized and dirty, not friendly, my toes were filed more than my nails and cut a few times. Had to tell them twice no I didn't want a mani, along with they put the wrong color on after I had the color I wanted by me the whole time and she even asked which one was mine before starting the color. I'm so disappointed! My girlfriend and I were looking for a place after the whole ice storm to get our toes done. They showed up with a lot of great reviews on Google, so we showed up without an appointment. Apparently, we had the same idea as everyone else and they had to turn us away due to capacity/staffing. The people that were scheduled to come in for a pedicure ended up canceling, and they actually walked out to our car and told us that they had availability. So we were excited, because we didn't have to go anywhere else. We should've known better. They're too aggressive. My cuticles were cut and bleeding, and I have scratches underneath my feet. My girlfriend has a scratch on the side of her foot, and a scratch on the side of her leg from the rough sugar scrub. They offered us wine at the end when it was almost done. My friends tech went to work on a guy across from us and cut him too! He actually stopped the pedicure and just put his shoes on and left.
