I give Studio SLK five stars for several reasons. First, the place is very clean, stylish, and professional. Second, the staff is very nice and welcoming. Every time I walk into the shop, I am always greeted at the door. Third, my hair stylist is named Tanicca and she is amazing! She takes excellent care of my hair, which is relaxed. Whenever she gives me a relaxer, my hair comes out extremely silky, straight and my roots feel smooth (no new growth is felt!) Tanicca also washes and deep conditions my hair on a timely basis. She scrubs my scalps without me asking her. This is a big plus for me because my previous hair stylists usually focused on the ends of my hair and not my scalp. She also blow dries by hair very well and when she straightens it, my hair stays straight for two weeks! ( Once I wrap it, I don't have to re-straighten it at all!) Tanicca has also put a sew-in in my hair for graduation and she did a superb job! The sew-in looked so natural and she knew how much hair to leave-out. On top of all her hair skills, Tanicca is a wonderful person. She is very sweet and always has a smile on her face. She is never rude and she will do whatever you ask her to do to you hair. Tanicca is my stylist and she is excellent! I've been going to Tanicca for about a year and I highly recommend her. I love how Tanicca has improved the overall quality of my hair while making it always look beautiful. She pays close attention to detail and she is very creative. My hair was really damaged from years of over relaxing when I first came to Tanicca and she has diligently worked to restore and repair my hair. Tanicca loves working with color and she has encouraged me to have fun with color. Tanicca is very professional and works hard to meet and exceed her clients' expectations. My first visit to studio SLK was great. I had a deep conditioning treatment, haircut and style. Upon arriving to studio SLK, the receptionist greeted me at the door and offered me a cup of tea or coffee. The studio seemed cozy and inviting with bright chandeliers and comfy seating in the lobby. While I sipped my tea, Sharice came and introduced herself to me and consulted with me about the haircut I wanted to get. I was very pleased with the haircut and will definitely go back. Tanicca is my stylist at SLK and she is fantastic. I've been with her for almost 4 years now, and I've never been disappointed. She's always done exactly what I asked with my hair whether it was for prom or just an everyday style. My hair is natural, so I generally come to Tanicca for a silk press. Her silk presses are the best! My hair always comes out shiny and healthy and they always last. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend her to anyone looking for a new stylist. read more

I've followed Sandy through every shop she's been with and was SO glad when she finally opened her own. My hair is always beautiful and healthy.
