Hector Juan Colon at Studio 41 assisted us at the Pulaski Location. He went above and beyond our expectations. First of all, he noticed we were waiting at the customer service desk for assistance, he was the only person to ask if someone was helping us. We said no, he immediately asked how he could help. He not only listened attentively and patiently to our concerns with one of the products, but he also sent a detailed email of our issue to the manufacturer that same day. Subsequently, the manufacturer contacted us to let us know they would resolve the issue, apologized for the inconvenience it caused us, and sent us a replacement product in short order. This is the second time that we had an issue similar to this, and Hector was the same person who handled it. He handled it in the same way, with empathy, kindness and a sincere promise to help us resolve it. He is a first-rate, one-of-kind customer service representative. To start, they forgot to deliver the tub. Then my tub was cracked. Crack was small so we had to install based on timeline. I had to schedule four deliveries and one pickup on my own. Shower door is 2+ weeks late, said it would be delivered 6/15. If I knew this I would have just ordered everything from amazon and saved  a thousand bucks. Their offer for damaged tub is that I pay $250 to repair crack post install out of my own pocket. OR they're give me a new tub if I rip the old one out of a completed bathroom. Studio 41 does not stand behind the products they sell! I purchased a faucet for over 6 hundred dollars had it installed and it leaked. Called Chris my salesman to let him know and that I would like to exchange it for a new one. Which took days for him to respond. He then told me I would have to call Delta. I replied that I bought the faucet from him and that I only wanted an exchange. When I said I'm not calling Delta he said he would pass this on to management. A week later he said that they had called Delta and they requested pictures. I sent a video of the leak and haven't heard anything since. It's too bad I didn't read the reviews of their terrible customer service before or I would've just bought one from Home Depot at half the cost. Say what you will but if you bought a defective product from home depot you would get an exchange with no questions asked. Needless to say I won't be spending my money at Studio 41 again. read more

The cabinet knobs I ordered were not what was delivered. Half was the color I ordered and the other half was an entirely different color. When studio41 was notified they laughed and said, "Not our problem we don't manufacture the knobs, and if you decide to return the Knobs it'll cost you a restocking fee of 30% in addition to shipping to and from. Beautiful showroom. And that is where it ends. Decided to buy right there rather than shop on line to avoid a bunch of headaches. That was my first mistake. Ordered 6 items on March, 2021 and it took 9 trips (1.5 trips for each item!) to finally get everything needed to finish one bathroom. Last item picked up July 16, 2021. 3 of the 4 faucets were wrong, wrong shower mixing valve, settled with a different tub, 2 trips to get correct drain parts. We purchased kohler fixtures for our newly renovated bathroom... our contractor had no idea what he was doing with installation and so we ended up needing to do it ourselves. . I discovered a guy named Hector at the kohler customer service desk who was willing and able to give me all the support I needed to get my fixtures installed. It turns out Kohler has a new valve type and we needed an adapter to get it to work. We honestly wouldn't have made our deadline to completion if it wasn't for his quick and effective guidance! Update 2: Karen not only DELiBERATELy removed parts from a Madeli Vanity, she removed a Kohler tissue roller, and brackets from two Kohler towel bars. Her response when I called to ask for a refund or replacement: call Kohler it's a warranty issue. In what world is Kohler responsible for replacing parts that Karen DELIBERATELY removed from the boxes. Significantly, Karen emailed me and told me she had opened my boxes ( without my permission) before they were delivered to "inspect" them. Her inspection resulted in parts being missing from every item she "inspected." Update: After posting a negative review, customer service manager, Karen Gasiamis retaliated against me by DELIBERATELY removing parts from my order, which prevented my worker from being able to install the sink in my vanity. When I called Karen to report the problem, she shouted and hung up on me. I called back repeatedly and she said she would have the missing parts delivered that day. However, she then retaliated again by DELIBERATELY giving the wrong address to the delivery service so that I did got the replacement part in a timely manner. Karen and her boss John Manion have refused to reimburse me for their errors which cost me additional money for labor. On top of all of that Karen has stated that she has provided excellent service. We just purchased $10,000 of cabinetry and plumbing for our Master Bathroom from Studio 41 with mixed results. We worked with Patti on the plumbing and we loved her. I am really happy with our new fixtures. Unfortunately we're had a terrible experience with Tracy our Sales Rep in cabinetry and her supervisor the Director of Cabinetry who we don't know. Once our contractor was almost complete with the project we had a ton of material left over that she ordered. When we questioned Tracy about it we never got a straight answer why the material was ordered in the first place. I was told that there were no refunds in custom cabinetry and I responded that there are always refunds if someone makes a mistake. My response did not seem to sit well with her. Since we never received a detailed order or packing list, we were unable to approve the order on that level. I asked for this information 3 times and finally received a document that was impossible fora lay person to understand. In addition, I could not even tell which materials we were talking about because there more items on the list than the four items in question. It was useless. I also asked for her for back up on why she ordered the material but still have nothing. She was told by management to come to our house to look the materials over. That day she told us she would order replacement material because it all appeared to be filler and not toekicks and she would send us an email but she never did. The next day the service department called our house to fix a problem caused by the confusion around this material. Tracy sometimes called it toekicks and some sometimes she called it filler. She did not seem confident of what we had. I was shocked the service department was coming to repair our issue but I was impressed that someone at Studio 41 was trying to make us happy. However, postponed scheduling the service department to come because first I wanted to understand what the material was really meant for and I wanted to understand how they would fix the issue. I wrote Tracy again asking for all the documentation and a proposal of how the area would be repaired. I cannot begin to tell you how shocked I was when Tracy wrote back that the Director of Cabinets cancelled Studio 41's offer to fix the problem. So first Studio 41 calls to schedule an appointment to repair a problem and the next day they are no longer coming? WOW!!!!! What kind of company offers a service and then reneges on it? Tracy won't answer our emails now and she removed a box of the cabinet materials from our garage. Does she intend to return the materials she took from our garage? How is it that not one manager from Studio 41 hasn't called us to hear the customer side of the story? We never asked for Studio 41 to correct this problem. Our contractor will happily do that. At this point I have no faith in Tracy nor the Director of Cabinets. We looked at Home Depot on the same day we signed with Studio 41. We decided to go with Studio 41 and pay a premium because the customer service would be better. My advice to those reading this is save your money because we did not receive the customer service we had hoped for. We love our new Ultracraft cabinets but I came to Studio 41 because I thought the customer service would be amazing. This whole experience has been a disaster and really ruined our impression of Studio 41 as our design partner since December. We never asked for Tracy to come to our house and we never asked for Studio 41 to repair our cabinets. We just wanted an honest answer about the material ordered, what the options were and why they were ordered and we still have not gotten it. Tracy should have had nothing to hide if she had ordered the materials properly. We could have had a one hour meeting between Tracy, our contractor and us. Instead this kept escalating and escalating unnecessarily and now you have a customer who is angry and disappointed. My cousin is about to purchase new cabinets and I have told her to walk. I will tell my friends to do the same and everyone on Yelp. read more

Brain Aneurysm Alert! Alright, I will get to the good stuff but be warned. ANYTHING YOU GET WILL BE DELIVERED TO YOUR CURB. Do not expect things to be brought into your house it will be not. This was not explained to me and I was left with about $8,000 delivered to the side of my high rise with 5 degree weather figuring out how to get the bathroom delivered to my unit for installation. This is the reason for my 2 stars. I could have made plans with my contractor had this been communicated to me. I literally had a brain aneurysm with the stress levels and my blood pressure going through the roof. That said, my bathroom and quality of product was fantastic - though pricey. I really tried to replicate my choices elsewhere but could not match the quality of product and the design. I do love my bathroom. I sent my sale person a lunatic level email and copied her boss. She was pissed at me and basically never spoke to me again. Her design choices and styling were on point. Her customer service was lacking. (Bogena). Believe it or not, I would go back just had to put this review out there in the dark web to warn others that they need to know how their delivery works. I have remodeled my flooring and kitchen. Medicare products sold with no integrity or customer service. First meeting, we waited almost an hour after our appointment time to talk to the designer, Anca, because she was with another client and had computer problems. She really rushed us through the process, only really offering to discuss one line of products, which was ok because it was in line with our design. When our appointment time was up we still had questions, but were told we'd have to come back because there was another person coming in right after us, which didn't sit well because we had waited an hour while the prior appointment wrapped up. Fast forward to delivery of cabinets, there are so many dings and dents that were poorly touched up. To their credit, they did ship replacements, but that only added to very long leads that, again to be fair, everyone is dealing with right now. One drawer face still hasn't arrived. Not a replacement, they never shipped it to us, now nearly four months later. We also bought "oak" (actually laminated MDF") open shelves, which look more like poorly-assembled Ikea than professional carpentry. You could say this is our fault for buying sight unseen, but they were not available or offered to view on the show room floor and we were given a sample of solid oak and told that's what to expect. Anca and the manager Iryna, offered no apology or refunds. Company policy for "custom" orders, even those those shelves are stock. To illustrate how bad these shelves looked, I opened them in front of our carpenter and contractor, and they both said, incredulously, "they sold you those? Stay away. read more

I was quoted one price for tile, which is why I purchased it here. When I paid I should have done the math to realize I had been overcharged, but it wasn't until I got home and looked through the paperwork to find the per box price that I realized the price I paid was almost $20 more per box than I had been verbally told, adding up to hundreds more. I was also told I could return unopened boxes, and when I brought a box back they refused. Be very careful if you purchase here. read more

Had the worst experience. I don't know how this store is able to complete with Home Depot or Menards given their return policy. They sold us the vanity, counter top and faucet. First of all they gave us the wrong size counter top which ends up costing us money because the contractor was not able to finish the job on that day and it happens to be Sunday. We called back and was told the counter top we picked does not come in 24" and that he recommends another counter top that comes in 24" that was in stock. We agreed the replacement without really seeing the item. When we installed the counter top which as wider top and the faucet that we picked. The faucet ends being too short for the sink and does not reach far from the opening of the sink. We called them to ask if we can switch out new faucet because it was not functional. When turning on the water it lands on the counter top. yet they said that because it was installed they can't take the item back. We called several times leaving messages and was told the same thing. Why then sold us something that does not work and not allowing us to switch for something else. The item is expensive and not that we can just purchased another faucet. I am so disappointed. I really want to like the place. they do have bigger selections than Home Depot or the traditional remodeling place. read more

This is the first review I've ever done but I felt compelled to write this as my experience was awful. I ordered 5 Toto toilets and two Rohl faucets. 4 of the very basic Toto toilets came as expected as they were the basic models. The one more high end Toto toilet came but it was the wrong toilet. I waited 2 more months for the correct toilet and still it was wrong. Now it's taking them over 2 weeks to pick up the wrong toilet. The sales person told me " we just can't seem to send the right toilets out anymore, you should use someone else for this product. I found that unbelievable. The faucets were ordered in February but I didn't receive them until the end of May. Each faucet was missing simple parts but my Studio 41 sales person told me to deal with Rohl they couldn't help me. So now I have two expensive faucets that are not entirely correct and Studio 41 is not willing to help me. I would not recommend working with this company as they don't have the systems in place to insure a quality experience. read more

We are in the process of remodeling our whole house and our contractor recommended Studio 41. Unfortunately, we are regretting our decision. We ordered kitchen cabinets, desk cabinets for an office space, and 3 bathroom vanities. Only one of the vanities came out as expected. The way the kitchen/ desk cabinets turned out, with gaps showing, is unacceptable in my opinion. However, they feel it's no big deal. Once they get your money that's all they care about. No one wants to take responsibility and no one is willing to make the customer happy. One of the vanities was made completely wrong and they refuse to take it back. I'm so sad we spent so much money there. We would've been better off going to Home Depot I think. read more

I purchased quite a bit from their Naperville location, but when a part didn't come in on time (and the contractor needed to be done with the job), I drove out to this location to pick it up. The people behind the counter were great helping me out, and Jackie went out of her way to make sure I had exactly what I needed before driving an hour back home. After my most recent visit here, I was appalled at the lack of good customer service this place exhibits. Which is why I am not at all surprised that the majority of bad reviews here stem from this total lack of regard. As a first-time home owner, this was my first time looking to make home remodeling repairs so I was unfamiliar with how the process works at this place. Apparently, there is NO ONE that comes to you as you wander aimlessly around the showroom looking completely lost and no one around to come and provide assistance. Instead of having salespeople ask to assist you, you have to SEEK THEM OUT. I had to ask at the front desk for assistance and do not know if that is the policy or I just got lucky. There are all these desks, some with workers, throughout the store where I guess you make the purchases with them, but no one will help answer questions or guide you where you can go for help. When I finally got someone, it was this very rude man who had zero interest in answering our questions and made no effort to explain to us the difference in price points and brands. The only thing I learned is that polished brass is the most expensive. He was very cut and dry and did not hide his apathy in not wanting to engage with customers. The girls at the front desk though nice were on their cell phones. The place does have a huge selection and it is hard to not walk out of there wanting something to add to your home but the level of indifference in actually caring to make the customer experience a good one, is a huge deterrent in patronizing my business here. In the end, one of the young ladies, Sophia, was kind enough to answer our questions, showed us where the less pricey models where..(something that the other rude man didn't even care to do even though we specifically told him we wanted something along the middle) and was overall extremely accommodating and helpful in giving us a quote. As others have pointed out, I do not know if they get a lot of private developers as customers that they do not really feel the need to treat regular folks courteously and be attentive but out of principle alone, I will not shop here read more

My experience with this store, which had been highly recommended, turned into a nightmare. We originally purchased merchandise to remodel an entire bathroom around Thanksgiving of 2021. Some of the merchandise wasn't delivered for weeks (the salesman didn't tell us it wasn't in stock) and some came damaged. The customer service was the worst part. Our calls weren't returned, the store manager was rude and said "we weren't the only ones waiting for goods." He also claimed there was nothing he could do to speed up the process. The last straw was today, almost seven months later, when they sent the wrong size replacement for a medicine cabinet door that was damaged, for the second time.
