the best service I've ever had from anyone ever. 22 year old faucet lost a gasket. Ok. $1300 for a new one I guess. I call. The phone is answered on first ring by a HUMAN. She sends me to parts. Hector asks for a photo. Sent. He finds us from eons ago. Sends a photo of the part and also the tool I need. it's under warranty?! Free part and he'll send the tool free too. Katt takes over right away w a link to pay the freight (I'm too lazy to go to the store). Then Hector sends tracking number and link to video on how to replace the part. This a review of Studio 41's Allure cabinets. we just had our kitchen redone, and our contractor and a Studio 41 design expert "teamed up" on us to recommend we replace our 20-year old cherry cabinets with new Allure cabinets. While the cabinets are nice to look at -- from a distance -- up close they are very cheap. The boxes are not even plywood, they're some low end MDF or particle board. pieces of the cabinets arrived "new" at our house already with chips in them. (See photos) When I called with my concerns, Abby from Studio 41 assured me that these were of "highest quality" and would last. However, after installation, I see that the "new" shelves and even some of the facade already look beat up. (See photos) In addition, little things that were promised failed to deliver. For example, we were told that the layout would exactly match our old layout. But there were mismeasurements that led to odd spaces (too much space for our microwave) and also missing features (no drawer under sink, missing pull-out shelves for our pots and pans). That's poor service / human errors. There is no doubt in my mind that Allure cabinets are hot garbage, and that we not only wasted money on them but also lost our much nicer hardwood cabinets. Highly recommend NOT to buy. read more

I love Studio 41 and their incredible showroom and customer service. Being able to physically test out the product before buying was extremely helpful. My master bathroom was a full gut and at the end of our project we had found out our shower doors we're too short for the space. In a panic I called studio 41 with our situation and time constraint with contractors. Zak, my customer service hero came to the rescue. There's not enough writing space to express how difficult his job is. I was able to get my beautiful shower doors delivered on time and it was worth it! Anyone who has survived construction in their home understands how much it means for a business to stand by their product with support and attention and kind customer service. My husband and I went to Studio 41 in the final weeks of a large home renovation project. We needed some last minute help with kitchen fixtures and cabinet hardware. Stephanie was our sales consultant and she was a breath of fresh air. I have traveled to Studio41 on Skokie Blvd. multiple times looking for cabinets, cabinet hardware, faucets, toilets, bathtubs, and bathroom and floor tiling. Not one of these visits has included a spontaneous greeting from the "welcome" desk or a salesperson--despite some employees looking at cell phones, or sitting at desks with no apparent focus on papers/computers/phone calls/etc. This place has a great selection of products and vendors. However my visits have become "peruse Studio41, and buy elsewhere". Extra steps but works for me! read more

it all depends on your salesperson. waited forever for an order and it was just sitting in the store--i was never contacted that it arrived for pickup. the same salesperson also ordered the wrong size dead bolt and i was penalized (no refund--just store credit) for his mistake. overall...be really sure who you are working with and what you ordered...or else. :( read more

I just want to say that this place was top-notch to get all your bathroom and kitchen fixtures and hardware. My sales consultant was Leslie Spitzer and to say she is amazing is an understatement. Her depth of knowledge on each product from kitchen plumbing to the knobs that would work with my cabinets was just outstanding. Yes, I recommend them BUT.... The sales part was great. All was good until it came time for installation to be done between my contractor and licensed plumber. My Kohler counter top and Kohler sink came with clips to align with holes, but no screws to attach the sink. While my plumber (who doesn't carry spec screws) installed other items, I went to Studio 41 to pick some up. They don't carry them. A very nice man, Tanner (I think) in the parts area, who said he installed displays and head bought screws at the nearby Ace Hardware. He gave me two sizes and said one of these will likely work not sure about the length. He was right one of them worked. (M6 .2) I attempted to call back to studio 41 to let him know which would work and they wouldn't let me talk to him. I suggested to Customer Service, that they would help other customers buying that Kohler sink, they let people know, or even mark the boxes of what size of screw. If I hadn't talked to Tanner, we would've had to take the whole sink over to Ace to get the right screw. However, the guy in customer service told me to call Kohler and tell them it's their problem. By that time, I had gotten the specs off of the Internet for the sink and there is no listing of the size of screw needed. All I'm saying is that studio 41 does not go the distance. Make sure you have what you need to do your installations. Ask Tanner he's the only one that's helpful. read more

We worked with Caleigh from Studio 41 to fully remodel our upstairs bathroom - We didn't know where to start and she helped us pick pick out everything from the floor and wall tile, sink, vanity, cabinets, toilet plus all of the fixtures and made sure everything worked together perfectly. Excellence in Service. In 2015 we purchased all bathroom fixtures for our new home from Ms. Abby Lando in STUDIO 41 of Highland Park, IL. After eight years (2023) all fixtures, except one, have passed the test of time very well. One fixture, a double shower head system for our master bathroom had multiple elements fail. So, we contacted the manufacturer in early November of 2022. The manufacturer said they would provide the replacement parts within 48 hours. A week later we called to check status and they repeated the same thing and so every two weeks we checked again and got the same answer with NO results. Finally, after much frustration trying to communicate with the manufacturer, we contacted STUDIO 41 and talked to Abby. She worked tenaciously and persistently with the original equipment manufacturer to get us all the replacement parts for free. Alanna is a miracle worker. A friend suggested adding a body spray to a bath remodel, and I walked in 3 days before Memorial Day, with the remodel starting the next day. I didn't expect to buy. She took the time to explain my options from what was in stock, so the project wasn't delayed, and I ended up with a very.modern bath faucet that doesn't require constant adjustment to maintain water temperature. The after sale experience was so impressive, I went back the next week to start quoting a new project I wasnt planning to tackle for months. This place was recommended as they have an extensive showroom with a great variety. Plus it is closer than the other place I looked previously and no appointments were needed. I went in there knowing precisely what I wanted and they helped me choose all the right fixtures for my new shower redesign. I also decided to upgrade the tub as well and they were able to order it AND the needed accessories with zero problems. They were even able to secure it months ahead of the lead time the manufacturer says they have. The only thing I'd say they need to improve is their toilet selection but that's another conversation for another redesign. read more

Amazing customer service provided by Tanner Kuhn. We are building a new home and went to the clearance center in Highland Park to look for a kitchen sink faucet and compare prices to an online discount site. Tanner was so helpful, patient, and professional. As a result, we bought everything we needed for our bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. Tanner helped us coordinate the fixtures and was patient while we compared prices to the online site. After a few comparisons, we stop and because we were confident that Tanner would treat us fairly. We are so happy that we went with Studio41 because there was considerable follow up post purchase. Everything needed to be shipped out of state. Prior to the shipment arriving, our builder had technical questions. Tanner was extremely responsive. Just can't say enough about what a pleasure it has been doing business with Tanner and Studio41. read more

I went to studio 41 in Highland Park to look for a toilet. When I walked in, no one greeted me or asked if I needed any help. I walked throughout the store, saw multiple people at their desks, and they all ignored me. Finally, I asked one of workers to help me. She did not know much about toilets, and went to look for a catalog. She was gone quite a while and I continued browsing. Again, I was ignored by multiple people. The original person came back with the catalog, but she was not helpful. I really needed someone knowledgeable about different flush systems, but was not able to get any reliable information. This is not the first time that I was ignored at the store. I do not know how to interpret this lack of service. Needless to say, I will never shop there again. read more

On one hand we had excellent service from Patty for our faucets and shower hardware from Studio 41 in Highland Park. On the other hand we had horrible service from Tracy Krasne in cabinets. We have had an on going problem with Tracy, our sales person as well as the director of Cabinets who we never met nor has she contacted us to understand the problem yet she is making decisions about us. What is the purpose of a manager who has not heard the customer's version of a problem? After our cabinets were complete we had a lot of material called toe kicks and filler left over . I requested documentation and further detail multiple times about the materials in question from Tracy and was stone walled or was sent information that was impossible to decipher so I contacted the manufacturer who was very helpful. It turned out that Tracy ordered material that was unnecessary for our bathroom and including the most expensive toe ticks. According to Ultracraft our cabinet mfg , very few customers order the expensive toe kicks and we were never given an option that there was a less expensive one. In addition, extra set of filler was ordered even though we only have one wall where it could be used and an extra piece of subrail for the crown molding was ordered and if used the crown molding would have hit our skylight. Between Tracy stone walling us about the order detail and the extra material it appears that either Tracy was covering up her mistakes or she was padding the order. Our contractor was confused by the extra material ordered, used the wrong item so I contacted customer service and service called to fix the problem. I contacted Tracey to see what how they were proposing to fix the issue and then I received an email from Tracy that she and her Director of Kitchens were canceling Service's offer to fix our problem. What company offers to repair an issue and then cancels it? I got another call today from Service again today to repair the issue rubbing further salt into the wound. My contractor already has easily fixed the problem. Clearly someone at Studio 41 has no idea what is going on. This whole experience with Tracy and the cabinet department has demonstrated their incompetency. To this day I have never heard anything from someone from management. If you are thinking of going to Studio 41 for cabinets run the other way. All customers should be treated well but one would think they would care about a customer who has spent $10,000. read more

When my front window was broken, Climate Guard Windows recommended Studio 41. They understood my urgency and expedited the order. Since it was a custom thermal window it had to be made and it arrived much sooner than expected. The men who did the removal and installed the replacement were friendly, quick and professional. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! Apparently if your not spending 20 or 30K you're not worth the time . It started out shaky as we had to wait 20 minutes for a sales person in plumbing . Mariya Stone eventually helped us and guided us to a shower fixture in our time frame. She wrote up a quote and I called back the next day to place the order . I got her voice mail and never heard back . It took 3 phone calls to eventually get her to take our money. Who would think it would be like pulling teeth to PLACE an order . About a week later I Had not heard from her as I would expect to be notified of my order status . Nothing . I waited until A Saturday to check on my order since Mariya doesn't work weekends. I was immediately handed of to a gentleman in plumbing, he checked Our order and said it was in ( most of it , the important stuff ). Long story short. I called Mariya 5 more times, got her voice mail . She NEVER once returned any of my phone calls . I called the general number yesterday to find out about our order . Still NOTHING! My husband went today to pick up the order in hopes it was all there. The pickup department had to go thru the order individually and pick It out of inventory. You would think the entire order would be grouped together with our name on it ready for pickup . Again, worst customer service ever. I will not be shopping there again . read more

What happened to Midwestern hospitality? This is not NY or LA. Hell, it's not even Chicago. It's Highland Park, not exactly the safest part of Illinois. I lost my husband January 25 of this year. Immediately after his passing, I knew I wanted remodeling in our Lake Forest home. The remodel began with my daughters suggesting using Studio 41, Caleigh Silver. This was the best suggestion ever! Caleigh Silver worked day and night as my lead designer / supplier / advisor in every way. My daughters were on site and part of the remodel team, but Caleigh Silver was clearly the leader of the team. I did not return to Lake Forest until the project was ENTIRELY COMPLETED. What should have been a one day quote has turned into over two weeks, discontinued items, missed deadlines and just poor service all around. Oh and we still don't have all the info requested. Terrible experience with studio 41 kitchen cabinets! Waypoint manufacturer delivered peeled paints, off white different shades, not leveled drawers and the base of the kitchen is yellow. The manager Iryna ignores 3 estimates to fix the issues and VP Felix didn't even get involved after we sent pictures of this cheap looking kitchen, estimated and begged to fix the problem. Very disappointed. We spent over $10,000 on the kitchen that looks worse than any $3k projects. read more
