Super Cute brewery perfect for families, relaxing after work or date night! We always enjoy stopping by Studlys when we have a free night just with our kids. Mondays they have music bingo, no extra charge, just fun! Their pizzas are always delicious and service is always a hit! The drinks are home runs every time. Love the atmosphere, cute corner for kids to hang and play so the adults can have some uninterrupted conversations. Always clean, great atmosphere and decor.

Had an absolute blast there the other night! The pizza was amazing, the sour beer I had was great, and the vibe was awesome. I loved the family friendly touches throughout the place. The staff was super friendly and the owner seemed like a really good guy. We'll definitely be back.

Came here for a wonderful Yelp event. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, if they were overwhelmed I definitely didn't notice! Great ambiance and FANTASTIC food. I call that the baseball fan trifecta! So let's dive deeper into the food and drinks offered. I tried one of their brewed on site beers called Nana Ball which was a delicious hefeweizen. It paired well with their artisanal pizzas. I tried their traditional pizzas and soon to be added to the menu Detroit Style pizza. I LOVED the Dill Pickle Detroit Style pizza which shocked me because I wasn't expecting to! Highly recommend! I also tried their made on site root beer and I loved the fact that it wasn't obnoxiously sweet BUT I wished it had a bit more bite. If you're an avid root beer fan you know what I'm talking about. I would still get it again though because it is good! This place checks all the boxes, sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters and drinkers. This is a family friendly place for sure. Totally worth checking out. Thanks for a wonderful night!

I recently organized a work function at Studley Brewing and was instantly impressed with how amazing their service and atmosphere is! The owners were so friendly and easy to work with and our servers took amazing care of us. Do you like baseball and beer? This is the perfect place for you! Studley offers a variety of amazing craft beer selections and a robust menu featuring everything from basic ball park hotdogs to personal pizzas! You can purchase a baseball bat sized cup for refills at a discounted pour cost too! There's nothing not to like about this place! The outside offers a few tables in a baseball theme and gives you a place to sit if you want to bring your dog. I don't travel to Chesapeake often but I would go back just to enjoy the local atmosphere that Studley brewing provides!

Pleasantly surprised with delicious pizzas and a great atmosphere during trivia night!

Strolled in and was amazed with all the baseball theme ambiance from the movie "The Sandlot" to "A League Of Their Own". Baseball cards used as coasters keep the baseball theme mainstreamed! Customer service was top notch as well as the delicious pizza! I ordered the pepperoni pizza known as the "is this heaven? no, it's pepperoni" DEFINITELY ADD HOT HONEY. So many beers that were all delicious and matched well with the pizza. If you are a fan of root beer definitely get a glass of their homemade root beer! Very refreshing! Can't wait till I try a calzone next! Or the chicken bbq pizza or meat lovers!

This is a hidden gem. I was in the area for an event and stopped in to grab a to go order. Although this is a brewery upon arrival the atmosphere was very family friendly. The eating area and bar have a nice gap between so it doesn't feel crowded. I approached the bar and asked if I could place a to go order. Tiffany was more than happy to assist. She provided great conversation as I waited for my food and even offered me a water. Just my interaction with her I would return! I ordered the phanatic calzone which smelled amazing on the drive home. It was fresh made and still hot after a 15 minute drive. There was a great balance of ingredients - cheese meat and veggies. The meat had great flavor and the mozzarella had amazing pull. Looking forward to my next visit to try some of the beers. Highly recommend stopping in.

A beer to make the day.

Looking back at the photos and wow! I'm sorry it's been so long, but I'm here now! After an afternoon of driving up from North Carolina, I was ready for beer and air conditioning and some wifi. I found all here and it was a great spot. Open, comfortable and friendly. I had a high top table but there was all kinds of other seating, both inside and out. For beers, I very much enjoyed their Tiny Panzer, a tasty hefeweizen. For seconds while Yelping with my laptop, the BUB Lite was a lighter American lager that was surprisingly flavorful and totally crushable. Big Ugly does not have a kitchen (yay, they can have dogs!) and today they were pairing up with the Pinoy Delights food truck. They have a schedule on their webpage. This is a superior spot and I enjoyed my evening. [Review 729 of 2025 - 1485 in Virginia - 24289 overall]

The brewery is a restored 1912 farmhouse sitting on acres of open land, with plenty of outdoor seating, picnic tables, and fire pits scattered around. There's always something happening here. Food trucks daily, beer trucks, and yard games like cornhole and bocce ball keep things fun/ The space is super dog-friendly and great for groups or families. I came this day with my friend and her kids and they had a blast playing with all the other kids outside. When it comes to drinks, they do not disappoint. They brew both beer and cider, and the variety means there's something for everyone. My seasonal favorite is the Witch of Pungo Pumpkin Ale. It's smooth, balanced, and packed with just the right amount of fall flavor. Enjoying one of those by the fire pits as the sun goes down is about as perfect as it gets. The bartender was super kind, letting me sample a few different beers before choosing. Whether you're meeting up with friends, bringing the family, or just want to unwind outdoors with a good drink, this spot hits the mark every time.

Back Bay Farmhouse - Friday Night Vibes Recap Back Bay…read moreFarmhouse absolutely understood the assignment for a perfect Friday night. The whole place was buzzing with energy--vendors everywhere, live line dancing, local desserts, fresh produce, and even homemade ice cream stations. It felt like a summer fair with a bougie twist. The staff were friendly and nice; our waitress even made some conversation at our table for a little bit. The outdoor dining area had a cute setup; def would like to see how it is during the summer. I don't remember the name of the drink I got because I asked the lady at the order window to make whichever one was both fruity and sweet. I'd give the drink an 8/10; it was pretty good, but became watered down really really fast. Didn't try any food off the menu because we were already planning to go eat after we left the farm, but after looking at the menu, I definitely see myself going back here soon to try their food and whatever new seasonal items/drinks they'll be adding to the menu in the next month or so. Fantastic beer and a tremendous burger and even better to be able to enjoy both at Happy Hour…read morepricing and with great company. I selected The Veil as the spot for my UYE and enjoyed an evening of talking shop with the great J David H. while we drank those great beers. The Veil is a comfortable spot in the Railroad District and we were sitting in their dining area on the ground floor. Big tables and plenty of room this afternoon. Which we needed because that burger and fries needed elbow room to enjoy. I'd only suggest a pump-based ketchup dispenser as the packet thing is tedious. They opened here in 2019 - well after I was done with my projects in Virginia Beach and Chesapeake - transforming this three-story space into a family-friendly taproom and restaurant. The full kitchen specializes in indulgent smashburgers and Neapolitan-style pizzas that pair perfectly with the brewery's bold stouts, hazy IPAs, and seasonal sours. We didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the Only You Bar & Lounge upstairs. Maybe that's the next visit to Hampton Roads. [Round number review 1500 in Virginia - 911 of 2025 - 24467 overall]

I only experienced the downstairs on my visit with Yelp friend Bruce K. The Happy Hour pricing was a draw as well as stellar reviews. Parking in their own smallish lot on a weekday was no problem. They also have free off street parking too! No debris in sight on my walk up. The signage is the building itself which is darn cool. They also offer outdoor seating. I started off with a Blend which is a Pale and Pilsner if I recall and it was tasty. The counter service was excellent. You can cash tip or card. Customers can also leave a tab open. The seating is wood bench type that comfortably seats six. The aesthetics of the first floor is high ceilings, concrete floors and walls. The kitchen has a garage door over the front. The space was previously a restaurant, but before may have been a factory, or warehouse. Only negative was music was a bit elevated for talking. Prior to Happy Hour concluding I ordered a $6 on special smash burger that comes with fries. No other dudes are available. The regular price is $12, so this is a deal friends. In about 20 minutes burgers and fries were delivered to the table. The look was downright amazing, so pretty much knew this bad boy was gonna be a hitter. The burger comes with double patty, cheese, Dukes mayo, lettuce a pickle. If something else I'm sorry I forgot. The first bite was phenomenal! Fresh bread, perfectly cooked 80/20 beef which was not greasy. The construction was a masterpiece. The thin fries were cooked crispy and seasoned well, yum! Honestly I could eat that burger everyday. The whole experience was exceptional and worthy of a full 5. Totally recommend checking The Veil Brewing out.

There's a quick line on busy days, but the bartenders are quick and efficient and make the line move. The bar itself has picnic table like seating and a huge open area outside, with each table having a QR code for food/beer etc. This last time, I had the pimento grilled cheese, with tomato soup and it's the perfect snack for a winter day. When heading towards the bathroom, there was a huge chalkboard of posted events coming up as well as another section for events. I really do like a brewery that has events in the area to make people come and visit and it gives people a chance to experience cool events in the area while having a familiar place to go afterwards or before. I Came here for coffee one morning, and the coffee as well was excellent. I enjoyed the 007 which is a shaken espresso, Highly recommend! They also have pastries, we got the blueberry scone, chocolate chip scone and the cheese danish. All were great and tasted fresh. Not what you would expect from a brewery in the morning, but it was well worth the trip. The brewery itself was at a low volume and had great sunlight peeking through for a great coffee in the morning. Parking was a bit rough when it was busy on a Saturday afternoon, but there was a separate lot if you can't find parking in the main one. We only waited about 10 minutes for a spot and it ended up not being too tight.
