    Pulled pork bowl
    Caitlin K.

Honestly I'm sorry but I don't understand the hype. I ordered the pulled pork bowl for $15 and the portion size is just not it. Is the stuffed bowl in the room with us? Aside from that the food tasted good, just wouldn't go back for the price.

Absolutely a hidden gem in Old San Juan! It was the perfect afternoon meal after the beach and strolling in the city. We both got the chipotle chicken bowls with white rice and a parcha kombucha. The ambiance is very quaint and quiet indoors and the service was fast and friendly from start to finish. We loved our time here and enjoying our meal together. If you eat here you gotta try their local kombucha! So good and pairs well with the food. Love this spot!

This is a small shop with counter service. On the bright side, they give you a whole (small) avocado with your bowl. On the flip side, the name is a misnomer because they have bowls--not stuffed avocados (like you can get from other places) and the food was not good quality. Would not recommend despite the prime location in old San Juan.

The food was good and everything seemed fresh. The staff were just doing their thing but once I got their attention it was fine. A few tables to eat at but also good for to go if needed. Would def stop here again though as they cater to multiple dietary restrictions.

After hours of walking around Old San Juan, I was famished. The vegan options are extremely scarce in this area, so I was happy when I saw the Stuffed Avocado sign. I figured, the avocado is naturally vegan, so surely I can find something suitable. I was correct. I ordered the "Peas" - a vegan stuffed avocado with chickpeas, mango, kale and other greens, corn, edamame, sesame seeds, and spicy shoyu sauce. It was good. Would I go out of my way to eat here? Probably not. But would I go here again in a crunch? Absolutely.

The food quality was great. My friend and myself were all disappointed the "spicy" was not very spicy. Tables were not clean. But staff was kind and courteous. Sriracha sauce bottles were all empty.

Despite the long line and not enough people working I am so glad I was able to stop off here before heading to the airport. As an avocado aficionado this was the place for me. Yum!

Disappointed with taste of everything, scared to eat this meal. Definitely need more flavoring & friendly staffing. Got so excited seeing a whole avacado to eat but too afraid to even take another bite. Sorry... not for me

We were so in love with this place that we wish we had this place closer to us in the states. The avocados were so delicious and everything they put in those bowls was perfect. It was so much food we were glad we shared bowls between twos. You can't go wrong with any of the options, they are all so fresh. Once you order they make everything right in front of you and they are very fast. Highly recommend!

This shop reminds me of Chipotle and a make-your-own poke bowl shop. Stuffed Avocado has set combos they suggest or you make your own stuffed avocado bowl which comes with a whole avocado in every order. We ordered the Mango Tuna, Ceviche, and Beef. The portions are generous and everything is so fresh. Mango Tuna: There was fresh tuna that was served on rice with some mango, edamame, green onions, sesame seeds, and crispy onions. The mango added a nice sweetness to the whole dish. Ceviche: They made the ceviche fresh to order which I really appreciated. It came with a pile of greens and other toppings like cucumbers and plantain crisps (aranitas) Beef: Pretty well-seasoned ground beef. Came with rice, sweet plantain, corn and green onions.

Great brunch spot in old San Juan. Everything is super fresh and tasty. We ordered two medium bowls for 2 people. In hindsight the bowls were huge and we should have just ordered one large bowl. You can choose your base, protein, sides and sauces . They have few seatings and a couple of nice dessert places across the street as well.

While it wasn't quite to my personal taste, I could tell it was well made and I'm sure others who enjoy that style of tamale would love it. My husband had the baked chicken and really liked it. My friend ordered the salmon and said it was moist and very flavorful, and her husband had the garlic chicken, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, everyone in our group was happy with their meals. Between the cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and tasty food, I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Old San Juan.

Since I've always seen the long lines outside this store when I passed by, we decided that we try to go in as soon as it opened. So, we lined up around 11:30am. We barely waited much and we got seated. The server that day was quick/efficient/friendly despite the fact that she was running a one woman show. And the food arrived within a decent time. My friends and I decided to order the PUERTO RICAN PLATTER with a side of a side salad. This platter comes with everything you could want & maybe something that might be a bit adventurous for you to eat like blood sausage. Despite that, it's a nice platter to share and try a bit of everything. It's really nice that if you order for 4 people, they give you exactly the amount of pieces that are divisible by 4 (so everyone can try 1-2 pieces of each thing evenly). It also comes with a decent amount of rice/pork as a supplementation, which was nice. It's a balanced meal. And I think the side salad did well to balance out all the fried foods. Overall, we really enjoyed this place. It's a great place to come with friends/families to share. It's a great place as a visitor to try a bit of everything. The platter is a great introduction of puerto rican fried finger foods. And it all taste great! From the presentation of the food to the service here, it's all good. I would recommend this place to others.

We split it between 3 people and they said it could feed 4 but hmmm, I'd be skeptical of that. I think no more than 2 comfortably honestly as a meal. The sampler was delicious though and had all the main things I wanted. The corn fritters were a hit and the steak was well cooked and seasoned. While the food was good, the wait was a little long and the service was mid (not bad but not the best we've had). Solid 4 stars

Well good news, the food is still good! I stopped in during the festival of San Sebastian and the restaurant was packed! We luckily got a seat for two and were able to order right away. I order the mofongo de pollo and my friend ordered a different meal with a soup. I am not going to lie, the service was extremely slow and the food took about 30 to 40 mins maybe to come out. I expect this was because of the festival and how busy the restaurant was. When the food came out, it was delicious! The chicken was great and drenched in a salsa criolla sauce. Unfortunately, the appetizer we ordered was just awful. We ordered a mix of very traditional Puerto Rican bites-small alcapurrias, sorrullos, chicharrónes de pollo and some fried cheese. There was absolutely nothing good about the mix. The alcapurrias has no meat whatsoever, the chicharrónes were not crispy and the cheese was just awful. I wanted to give them a 1star review but I felt this would not be fair because we did not try an entree and I hope that would be better. The 3star was because the service was good. In addition to the service later on in the evening they had live music which was essentially old traditional Puerto Rican music which was excellent.
