So I got a really bad haircut at another hair salon this summer (July) (a chain)and I was trying really hard to not look in the mirror and just let it grow out. My husband suggested I spend alittle more money and get it fixed. I saw this adorable short haircut on a girl I knew and I asked her where she got it. She said Connie at Style Bar. I got her phone number and called her the very next day. I liked her immediately upon meeting her! She was dressed adorably and had an equally adorable haircut!! So I know my hair was a mess but she spent a lot of time fixing all the unevenness and shaping it. It was pretty short still so I knew this was not an easy task. But I am so incredibly impressed with the fantastic job she did!! Everyone noticed how much better it looked and I DEFINATELY think it was worth every penny I spent. I made an appointment with Alex at Stylebar for a extension consultation and from the very first meeting to the extension installation Alex was amazing and so attentive to my needs. I had recently gotten my hair cut at another salon and the cut and color was not what I had expected and was not a flattering look for me. Alex was able to see my vision for what I was wanting for my hair and after the extension installation I finally felt like myself again. The extension installation and quality is more than I could have ever expected. My extensions are blended so well into my original hair and is such a seamless look. As soon as I walked into StyleBar I knew I was in the right place. The salon smells divine- they carry Davines hair products, as well as Morrocan Oil. I was greeted by my longtime stylist, Bryan, who gave me a quick tour of the space. Bryan informed me that they offer a variety of beauty services other than just hair. I was offered a glass of wine which I enjoyed while Bryan applied my color. I've seen Bryan for several years now, and I'm happy to see him in such a warm inviting space that allows each stylist to pursue their strengths. Moved to Charlotte and could not find a salon that I loved, until now! The salon is awesome as well as all the staff, always super friendly and love to get to know anyone that walks into the door. The price is great and the quality results are even better. I have been three times and see Natalie who is amazing! If that's not enough, they also run promotions frequently. I had an amazing experience. I was referred to Natalie by a friend since I was unhappy with my current stylist. She was friendly and warm and made me feel comfortable. I have long, thick and naturally wavy hair with color. She was able to get the color perfect for me and also cut my hair in a way that compliments its natural wave. I love all things about this salon. They know what they are doing-and make you feel very comfortable while doing it. I've known the Co-Owner Alex for about six months and trust him already with all things beauty because he loves doing it, so he does it well. I came here to get my hair colored for the first time and the experience was amazing!! Everything was very clean and organized.
