So I normally really like this Subway and their employees but today March 24th 2023, I asked for a very basic request and that was to melt the cheese over my roast beef subs without toasting the bread. What I got in return wasn't anything I asked for. I even had a really nice note showing my appreciation for Subway and thanking them, plus a small tip and they still couldn't care less about my basic request. What's the point in even hiring employees like this? Where's the one's who actually care about their customers and do their jobs? When I called they lied about it coming out and then when I called again to ask what happened they hung up on me. Called a third time and they were beyond rude and were just like oh well we are too busy you have to come in. I had the worst subway experience I have ever had here. To start there were two customers screaming a conversation across the room with the subway employees chiming in. They were distracted and not making the food. Second I asked for a flat beard and they made my sandwich all of one side of the bread and folded it short ways(Ive never had a subway sandwich made this way), plus they rearranged the meat multiple times....PLEASE JUST LAY THE INGREDIENTS EVENLY AND MOVE ON. If a manager/owner is there forget it, they don't care if you ordered extra of something, you're not getting it. Horrible customer service. Superrrr rude employees. Ordered a few sandwiches for me and my family and employees were upset that they had to make multiple sandwiches. One of the employees took almost 30 mins to make 2 mobile order sandwiches and then once he was done started helping the guy after us but was rude to him. Look like they hate their jobs and act like it's our fault they work there. This isn't the first time I've had really bad rude customer service here. If I could give No stars I would. I walked in and the subway employee wasn't even wearing her mask correctly. Second I told her I needed 2 footlongs, 1 6 inch and a kids meal. She then proceed to only get 2 footlongs and a kids meal. I reminded her again. She got an attitude and put the kids meal away and brought the 6 inch back! When another of the employees walked in she then almost ran to her, which I can honestly say she told her not to say who was the manager. Will never go here again. I had another horrible experience at this California city subway. Walked in with no customers inside three female employees behind the counter talking and I stood there for five minutes without even a hello. So I walked up as close as I could get to the counter because of the Covid restrictions and employee looked up and asked me if I had if I was there to pick up an order. I stated no I'm here to place an order she turned around and started talking with her coworkers. This is the final straw I won't be coming to the subway ever again. Its a real shame that the subway in California city is really bad. Every time we go in they either have no bread, no meat for the sandwich you want, no cheese, very bad service, rude employees, burnt bread or a manager that could give two shits about the customer. Nice place, nice people. I opted for the seasonal special foot-long with Avocado in, it was great! This one is different from most other Subways in the sense they had almost every bread, ready. I been to many subways in my life but this one has some great workers. TONY and TREYVON were great! They were super friendly greeted everyone who entered the door. When we got there about 10 more people showed up. They greeted all of them with bright smiles and treated everyone with respect including the kids. They gave the perfect amount of food on the subs unlike most subways that gives a small portion. I highly recommend this subway if your a fan of subway especially if TONY AND TREYVON are working. The staff of the California City Subway was so extraordinarily helpful - they helped me craft my order to satisfy the varying tastes of my (very!) eclectic group of volunteers while still cleaving to my very limited budget. They were very detailed orientated, making sure that they understood every bit of what I wanted and needed. And then, they had my order ready precisely on time (I had a tight schedule), called me to let me know the minute it was ready, and then even offered to carry my order out to my car to save me more time. Great guys, friendly, personable, and very professional. This crew completely gets the concept of "customer service". As a business owner (retired) I would have hired any one of these fine young men in a heartbeat. They are great! read more
