This review is for today 29 SEP 2024, approx. 1330. It is a Subway, you get a decent, not spectacular sandwich for a decent price, considering current market. My wife got her usual tuna, I got a cold cut combo, lots of vegetables. This is actually our second stop at this location. Ironically almost one year apart. We were on our way back from the annual pilgrimage to Wake Forest University, to visit my son and see a football game. Great game, although Wake lost 41-38 on a late field goal by Louisiana. Also, can't not mention this, ran into a couple also coming back to MD, from the WF game. It was family weekend, so the odds make a bit of sense, but still. Anyway I am actually writing this to salute a wonderful elderly lady working there who was by far the hardest working soul in the place. She is apparently the plumber, the cashier, the conscience of the place. I accept being accused of being sexist, but why was a septegenarian (at least), the one unclogging a toilet when there were two able bodied men in there 20's standing around. She had to run, picture that, from her maintenance duties to check us out. The place was clean, I suspect she did that. The drink area was well stocked and organized, I suspect she did it. Do better young American native born men, do better. read more

Poor service. Asked for NO MAYO. They put mayo on my sandwich anyway I drive 30 min back to work. I called manager. He was rude and couldn't help me and told me to write a review or bring the sandwich back all the way to Chester from Richmond if I wanted a refund so My alternative is to give them 0 for customer service and dispute the charge. read more

I've been to many Subways in the area but this one is my favorite. Plenty of parking and the place is clean. Every time I have been there they have had plenty of staff and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Very quick efficient process. The ingredients are fresh and you are in and out very quickly. I haven't eaten inside, only done take out but seems there was some seating there. read more

Utilized this Subway several times while out of town for a sporting event. It is hidden off the road, so be aware you must enter the shopping area. I had been to it before when they first opened and recall it was just okay at the time, but almost new. The Subway that preceded this was in the area from what I was told. This is a new one, possibly in it's first year. Sidewalks were clear and plenty of parking. Not a lot of seating, it long and narrow. Possibly like other Subways they do mainly take out any way. However, on a few visits if we were to want to eat in no tables were available. Service was at standard, nothing above. I do like the fact that you swipe your own rewards card and credit card yourself unlike other locations. Dining room was clean, never saw any debris on the floor. I would recommend and will plan on coming back as this is a very convenient store to a hotel that I often stay at across the street. read more

Yesterday I and my nephew came in for a roast beef footlong sub and a meatball marinara sub. The employee completely ignored me as he seemed annoyed by my presence. The other employee who called the first employee "Caleb" helped me and my nephew and with my order. The other employee "Caleb" went on to greet and help the other customer like my nephew wasn't even there. Horrible customer service by this employee and I will not be returning for future endeavors! read more

Store is okay, subs are good, every now and again. But I normally write reviews to stay away from places, and one or two for places that are good. Unfortunately, today is one of those days where it's iffy. My fiance and I were hungry, so we decided on Subway. That was a mistake. My fiancé's sub was fine. Mine wasn't. The sub with meatballs and American cheese. I didn't taste any cheese, nor saw any. The "chewed" (one half bite before spitting it out) meatballs (3 total) felt warm, but were almost completely frozen. I tried to call the store, but nobody picked up. So much for "if something isn't right, call this number and ask for the store manager. If not resolved, call hire up tomorrow" bs. We ordered through the app. Honestly, I'd rather go in the store and order than order online again. Things are blocked out for some privacy. Just don't order through the app. It's better to go in the store. read more

I've been to this location in several occasions. The staff is always super friendly. If no one is line to be helped they all busy themselves cleaning or stocking the shelves. Store has moved across to the other of the shopping center into a nice new building! New address is 12511 Jefferson Davis Hwy. If you've been in one subway, you've been in them all. However, one thing that stood out in this restaurant The had local favorites. These were sandwiches mostly eaten or popular in Chesterfield. Service was pleasant however the cashier seemed disturbed. Subway is good however I recommend your "Mom and Pops" joints, especially if you come to the Richmond for they have lots of ethnic food. read more

Great Subway location! The staff are always friendly, efficient, and organized. The shop is very clean and always seems comfortable and well-stocked. I've been here several times and find them also conveniently located just off VA Route 10 in the big shopping plaza. Parking is part of the big lot and seems always plentiful. They have some tables too but not too many. read more

This is one of the better Subway we visit from time to time. They offer there subs but also salads which are pretty good. The place is very clean and everyone is friendly and get down to business. This location has never been out of any bread I wanted which is a big plus in my book. The reason for this visit was I was going to be working 16hr the next day and needed some food to take. And Subway fits the bill I got me the seafood sub and a BMT. That should hold me for the whole day at work. And my wife likes that as she doesn't have to fix me a couple of lunches for work.. read more

This is the cleanest Sub-shop I have ever been in. The manager is funny and calls himself Boss Man, and his son is Boss man Jr.. they are toooo funny, I love coming in the morning where they fast, and efficient, the line was out the door almost and they were getting confused and Bossman stopped and fussed at the whole line, three minutes later the line was gone out the door, he don't take no mess.. hahahahahaha.. I also love Ms. Sadie, she been there for years. I drive 30 minutes out my way to come to this Subway because of them, I use to not like this one, because it use to smell like cigarette smoke and marijuana, now it smell fresh and delightful. I highly recommend this Subway, ask for Bossman if you are getting a sub or salad, and Bossman Jr. if you want the smile.. read more

It's Subway, but a pretty poorly run one. Some of the veggies smelled like they were starting to become rotten and the food containers had ice on them. Near to Route 10, Highway 1/301, Interstate 95, and a VABC so if you're looking to grab food and booze quickly you can do worse. read more

Worst place to eat! Employees don't wear gloves if they're cut but make your food with leaky bandages, or touch money with same gloves and go back to assembly. Watch closely where their hands are with your food, and never call out a manager unless your prepared for battle. They have no soap in public restrooms to wash up after their messes. Management insults you when you complain and how to correct issues. You can't call the owner as he hides online to be reached. Often their rewards program never credits your purchase correctly. Yet I have to give a star to submit this?!?! Go somewhere else. read more
