I've never been here and had cold food. That is a PLUS! I usually get a chicken finger kid's meal with fries & it's always delicious. The drive thru line is ALWAYS long, but it doesn't take long to get to the window. The parking in the lot is a bit crazy. You may have a hard time finding a spot to park if you go during a busy time. I wish they offered different sauces like bbq. I don't eat the Canes sauce. Outside of that, I love this place. read more

My very 1st time trying Raising Cane. I went on a Friday evening and I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders- delicious. My husband had the 4 piece. Chicken tenders were light, crispy and great flavor. My personal opinion is it's much better than Zaxby's. I will definitely be back. read more

Like others, I experienced a long wait in the drive-thru around dinner time on a weeknight. 25 minutes would not be an exaggeration. While I was waiting to place an order, I reviewed the menu online. The menu is simple: how many chicken tenders would you like? What type of drink? I chose the Caniac Combo which has 6 tenders, cole slaw, fries, Texas Toast and 2 sauces + 1 drink. Around $16. The food was hot and I appreciated that! The crinkle cut fries were lightly salted and good. I loved the Texas Toast. The main star, the tender... they could have used some help in the flavor department. Alone, they were ok - but dipping in the Cane sauce added flavor and made them more enjoyable. The outside of the establishment was well lit. read more

As far as fast food places go, Raising Cane's is elite. The chicken strips are excellent: perfectly fried, with perfectly seasoned and crispy breading and juicy meat. We were seduced by the hype of online reviews and really tasty-looking pop-up ads in games apps of all places, so we had to try it. The chicken is all that it is hyped up to be. Chicken sandwiches are made with three chicken strips, a lettuce leaf, and the highly-touted Cane's sauce. Sandwich buns are really good, a brioche-style bun. It's a great sandwich, but it lacks something fresh or acidic. I think it could use a slice of tomato. Cole slaw is good but average. Texas toast is also good. Crinkle-cut fries are hot and crisp. The much discussed Cane's sauce is a savory and peppery, mayonnaise-based sauce. It's not my cup of tea, and I think it could use something acidic to brighten the flavor. They feature it in their ads, and you pass someone filling their sauce cups while driving through the drive-through. People are devotees of this sauce. The chain leans into the hype. Service is quick and polite. Everything is clean and branded. They know their strengths and reputation and live up to it. The price is a bit higher than other fast food chains, but the quality is worth it. The chicken really is very good. I think it's the best of the chicken fast food chains. This location is a good representation of the chain and is a convenient location with easy access. Drive through is kept moving and service is friendly. Lots of parking available. Boxes are styrofoam, and the packaging is a bit excessive. It's definitely not a green company. Coke products, sweet and unsweet tea. read more

I really enjoy coming here their chicken is always fresh and hot. The Canes sauce is very tasty and I'm not a fan of coleslaw but it's fresh as well. The toast is crisp right out the oven and I really enjoy their lemonade. They have a very limited menu so you won't have a hard time deciding what you would like to eat. They keep music playing in the background and the tables are close together along the wall and bar seating in the middle of the floor. They service is friendly but I feel they are short staffed because each time I come the trash is over flowing and the do wing area is not clean. read more

I used to love Cane's. They need more dipping sauces. Not everyone wants canes sauce. It's not as good as you think it is. And honey mustard is not what everyone wants. AND if you want honey mustard you have to pay extra. So ridiculous. The chicken is so HARD - it's terrible these days. Do you not pound the chicken to make it tender. It's like eating crunchy chicken, you can hear your teeth go through it. It's so gross. read more

Tried this place for the first time. The food was good but the chicken had no flavor which is why I see people rave over the sauce because the sauce was fantastic! Fries were crispy and the food was good. They have either chicken tender combos or a chicken tender sandwich you can choose from. The sweet tea is great. Drive-thru was very very slow which is why we went inside, the drive thru was wrapped so long that it blocked the entrance and we had to go around the other side to get in. Employees were very nice and the bathroom was clean. read more

My husband and I just stopped here while on a road trip. It was our first visit to Cane's. The chicken fingers were decent and fresh (actually extremely hot). The fries were tasty and we really enjoyed the Texas toast. The Cane sauce was meh. It tasted like a mild Mayo & ketchup blend. Inside the restaurant there are only two gender neutral restrooms for all patrons to use and the line was very long. There was no toilet paper or paper towels. Not ideal. We actually got our food via drive-thru and the line was VERY long about 10+ cars so it took a while for us to get our food. They do have a double drive-through but the other side wasn't open. Overall I'm glad I tried this place bur it felt average. Lots of waiting and this might be a sign that they are short staffed. As far as the food... When compared to Chick-fil-A or Zaxby's this place gets third place for me. read more

Went into this location after a long road trip with the family. Service - good, drive through was very slow. Huge line of cars that stretched around the parking lot. There were two lanes for cars but only one was open (which was a direct reason for the pile up) Food - after hearing about the hype this will be just my third favorite chicken tender fast food restaurant. The cane sauce was meh to me and the fact that they only give you 1. The sauce wasn't spicy or the tenders weren't either (it would be nice to have it being an option). The chicken tenders were definitely fresh Ambiance - I spoke on my annoyance with the drive through. The restroom is gender neutral (which is fine) but there's 2 single rooms for the entire restaurant. The line can tend to be long I had to wait for 3 ppl ahead of me. Kicker they're was no toilet paper to be found in there. The restaurant was cool but it would be for you if you want an adult kids meal. read more

It was my first time visiting a Canes recently because I have obviously heard a ton of hype about this place. The food was just "meh" in my opinion, the sauce that everyone is super over the moon about was just normal sauce in my opinion, but the price was insane. It pretty much tasted similar quality to Popeyes, but for about twice the price. What really got to me though, was the manager. Who was less of a manager and more of a micromanager. When the line is backed up ridiculously far, it just comes across as insensitive, in my opinion, when instead of helping, he just micromanaged the employees on the apparently difficult task of handing over drinks and passing napkins. I imagine turnover will be quite high if he treats employees like they are dumb while simultaneously refusing to help. I can overlook mediocre food and high prices, but managers treating their employees like crap really grinds my gears. read more

Wow how does this place only have 3 stars?? It's like one of the best canes I've ever been to. Just about every single employee that passed us said hello. Delicious seasoned fried chicken!! All items are great!! Definitely worth the stop!! Highly recommend!!

I had to come and see what all the hype was about. I noticed this location when they were building it. I had the opportunity to visit. I give it three stars because the staff was super friendly, LOUD, but friendly and the food was hot. However, I must've come on a bad night. After a long day of moving, I wanted to try these famous wings and fries. The toast was AMAZING and I'm not much of a bread eater. The fingers were flavorless and very bland!!! The fries were cold. I was disappointed. The slaw was gross, NO FLAVOR! The lemonade was disappointing. I don't know who told them that honey mustard sauce was it, but it wasn't. It had such a weird taste to it and left a bad after taste. I should've went to chick fil a!!! I'm mad I drove all the way out here for this. I usually like to give places another chance. My daughter ordered the chicken sandwich and it looked dried, but she like it! I told her there's definitely better. This whole meal left a bad taste in my mouth...figuratively and literally! read more

Wow, fast service even though it was busy! It was my first time at a Raising Cane's and definitely enjoyed it. The menu is small and I like it that way, it's quick to decide what I want. The chicken fingers were fried, incredibly light batter and moist chicken. The coleslaw was great, not heavy with mayonnaise. Fries and Texas toast were yum! I ate in and tables were clean. Still in line at the recently opened Rt 1 location. So sad the management isn't even smart enough to learn from Chick Filet in running a drive thru. No one outside even directing traffic nor assisting with drive trough orders. Ben on line for 20 minutes and saw 4 cars so far creep through the line to leave. Perhaps to Chick Filet? There are two large trucks parked in the travel lane causing confusion. Dosent take a rocket scientist to tell someone to move it 50 feet behind the Hobby Lobby. How sad the little things are over looked. Let's blame it on Covid! 15 minutes and haven't ordered yet. Looks Ike the left drive thru is much faster than the right side. Naturally I'm in the left one. I know it's new but why not get people outside to work the drive thru? I've never tried their chicken so I'm curious. Will not go thru the drive thru again- especially if I'm in a hurry. Heard 3 guys walk by saying to each other it ain't worth it to wait so long for the chicken. What a stupid way to start a new business with a KFC, Zaxby, PopEye's, Bojangles and a Chick Filet with 2 minutes of this location. Still waiting but the building looks nice. Not sure of that Occult emblem on the front of the building. 18 minutes and still waiting in line and haven't ordered yet. Left lane appears to be moving two to one over left side. Poor management/traffic design. Two more cars left from left lane behind me. I would leave at this point but I'm stuck like a rat. This better be some good chicken. No menu boards to look at while I'm waiting so it will be slow ordering. Must be why it's so slow as it's a new concept for Chester. 20 minutes waiting and I am 2 cars from ordering. I will try to be objective on this review but I'm getting into a bad mood waiting so long. Now I've got to go to the bathroom. Sorry but I'm old and don't know who Todd Graves is on A&E. Save the ad dollars and reduce the price of your meals! Is Secret Sauce his Show or the name of your chicken Sauce? 25 five minutes into my wait and still can't read your menu board. Kinda dumb but someone has to pay for Todd's cut out board. I can see the other side but can't read the prices. Looks like the line is still long behind me as it moves into the 30 minute wait zone. It stopped for a while and I'm getting hot enough to fry chicken on. Really? Are you guys this bad and unprepared? I'm ready to ask for gas money but dang it, my car is electric. Hope I make it thru the line before my battery goes... but there is two lines and one is blocked off. Oh crap the drive thru goes into one line!!! I haven't ordered yet either. Please go to Chick Filet and learn how it's done. At 35 minutes I ordered. The guy kept asking me to repeat my order. For kicks and giggles, I asked for a discount since I had so long. I was promptly to told by a female voice that I couldn't get one because all the others had wait so long in line. I encountered the first window and it's a bunch of high school kids having a great time. They were appalled that I said my name was Tim and not Jim. I said to the very young lady 'you're welcome" and she said "go to the next window for your receipt". I did. And again telling the very young man that it was "Tim not Jim" so I wouldn't get the wrong order, he looked at me as a mean customer. He closed his window on me. I didn't leave and nicely said"you're welcome" and he just shut the window. Kill them with kindness and they don't know what to do. I just tried my first bite. Nothing to write home to mom about. I looked to see how much they put on my credit card but no receipt. Just my order without prices stuck on my to go bag. Is the Quick Service industry really this poorly run? Can't they at least start out good and then start to go down hill. Management: remember what happed to Boston Market. Expanded too fast and went Chat 11. You're in your way to repeating history. Y'all are too lazy to even teach your high school pre-schoolers to say "thank you". I know, I know; it's COVID's fault. I wish I could give less than 1 Star. You guys suck on every level and don't deserve to be in business. Nothing original here or improved on over other venues. As for, I'll go to the place where the drive thru is efficient. ps I read that drive thru business is now up to 80% of a stores' total sells. Need to add that the chicken had little flavor but was warm. I ate the FF's first and were nice and salty. KK for fries-ok. The lettuce on the sandwich was dark green and did not hold up very well. Looked let lettuce frozen and then thawed and used. Weird but that's why Chick Filet puts only a pickle on the air sandwich. Not a very good brand overall and sadly will never dominate the crowded chicken market. read more

I visited Canes in Chester on opening day to grab something to go and bring home. I always thought it was a little odd to open with Zaxby's being right across the street. So naturally... because they sell pretty much the same thing, I'm going to compare the 2. Canes... is just ok. Not bad. Not amazing. It's pretty pricey for average chicken fingers in my opinion. Zaxby's wins for me because they have Zalads I will say, for opening night, the drive through moved super fast! read more

First, let me get this out of the way... the blitz of online advertising worked and convinced me to give this place a try. Second, I am not sure why people go crazy over the Cane sauce. It was ok but seemed over powering you ended up with a mouthful of sauce taste and lost the taste of the chicken. Which leads me to the chicken... very good! It is hot and has a nice breading to it. The crinkle cut fries are smaller than average so they taste like fries and not a chunk of potato. The Texas toast was a nice end to the meal it was crispy and buttery. The only thing I would change is the plastic bags that it is served in. There are vent holes throughout making it completely unusable as a trash bag after you finish. Finally, the service even at the height of lunch was fast and friendly. read more

Good chicken tenders. Not much sides to choose from. The bread is bland no flavor and the fries are blad. Could have a wider selection of sides. Service is fast and they are not friendly. The chicken was piping hot and delicious. Fries were great. We shared the four piece box and it was plenty.

Went through drive thru, and flies were flying around the window, which signifies not well-kept conditions. The chicken tenders were very greasy, garlic bread seemed sour, and the Sprite, flat. This was my 1st visit to this location, and I was disappointed. I don't understand what the hype is about;,I not be returning!! read more

Well not as good as I hoped it would be from reviews. Chicken tenders were good and juicy but fries for as busy as it was were barely warm, it's like they are made way too far in advance. Price is not too bad. Coleslaw was a little on the sweet side. The bread with the meal was ok. Nothing really great about the place that I would return for. Store was a newer store so cleanliness was not bad. Service was ok but nothing to right home to mom about. I do think that for the only products they have are checked fingers fries coleslaw and bread it would all be hot and amazing but not exactly the case. read more
