It's been a staple every time I've come back home. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's an excellent Mexican seafood restaurant. The space is clean, the food is as good as you'll find in lots of places out west, and the service is excellent. When I observed the staff, again they were all standing around and one person was working and he sweating entirely too much. He also seemed to have an attitude. I was warmly welcomed in by a very beautiful and delightfully charming hostess/cashier, so i felt right at home. The place is clean and well organized which is a big plus for me. I'm in the hospitaluty industry and I'm also a classically trained chef and a Grill Master, so I pay attenrion and notice everything about an eatery and that made a huge difference for me. Customer survice is extremely important to me especiallywhen it comes to serving food. Now, the rib tips are excellent and you really don't need the sauce, but the sauce is good. I believe they have at least 3 flavors, but i only choose the sweet one. The tips are very young and tender cuts of pork, not overly sized or dry and are smoked to perfection. The Mac & cheese is delicious and the pasta shells are perfectly textured, not overcooked and seasoned with a good balance of cheeses. The beans are good and the potato salad is good as well. The collard greens are very tender with cabbage added, not overloaded with stems like some places have and they were also seasoned just right so they came out great. The peach cobbler is also delicious! The crust is absolutely phenomenal with the perfect texture and balance of sweetness so you can actually taste the peaches not just sugar. I met one of the owners outside and we had a very pleasant chat and he ended up giving me a large one instead of the small one that I ordered, which was greatly appreciated. It's really good and I enjoyed it. This is a must go to place if you want great food and I will definitely be back. I checked Google for nearby bbq spots in Fairburn and from what i researched this is the only place to go to, so I have definitely found my place here. I've experienced a lot of different bbq spots living in LA and Vegas over the past 4 decades and this is how real bbq should be done, hands down, so don't sleep.

We walked in and a young lady promptly greeted us with a smil and friendly convo. I ordered an Oreo attic blast ($6.59 + tax) and my nephew decided on a vanilla milkshake ($5.59 + tax). Not too bad for two delicious treats and mine was full of Oreos chunks. It was soooooo good and it took me a minute to finish because of the size. It is located in a lot with what looks to be a motel, piercing place and hair braiding studio with free parking available. When you go inside, there's a small dining area with three high top tables and chairs. You can sit down at one of the tables and eat with 1-3 people or wait for your order if the seats are empty. We chose to dine in. They provide a touch screen device to place your order. There's an extensive menu with smoothies, wraps, salads and snacks. The smoothies have cute names. We ordered a few smoothies (Ya Mama's a Crook, Lucky Punch & Havocado) and a avocado chicken wrap and kettle chips. Note: The wraps include chips. I made the mistake of buying chips not knowing this but the cashier let me know that I can grab two when she noticed I bought a bag a la carte on the receipt. They make your smoothies and wraps in front of you. The ingredients are laid out like a cafeteria's serving area or typical sandwich shop and they look fresh. We received our order in less than ten minutes. The avocado chicken wrap was good. I liked the salad dressing on it and the ingredients were fresh. I did not make any substitutions to it and the only thing I'd change is adding a touch of salt to the protein. The smoothies were delicious! I liked my Havocado smoothie so much that I ordered one to go too. This was my first experience at Get Fruity & I am thrilled to find out that they have more than one location in the Metro Atlanta area. I never thought I would chose a meatball sub over fresh cold cuts but the meatballs became my favorite thing on the menu.
