I ordered three chicken finger baskets and repeated "unsweetened tea" enough times that it should have become part of the permanent record. Reconfirmed it at the second window too. We were in and out in four minutes flat, carrying enough Styrofoam and paper sacks to feed a Little League team. Six minutes later at home, the first sip of tea hit like liquified hummingbird feeder. That "unsweetened" tea had enough sugar in it to put the city of Fredericksburg on insulin monitoring. Somewhere in that kitchen a man clearly believes every Southerner measures tea sweetness by whether the spoon can stand upright in the cup. Then came the fries. Lord help us.
