    *Pulled Pork Sandwich (with fries)
    Marisa Q.

Georgia's Restaurant *June 13th, 2026 *12pm- Saturday *3 Stars Environment: *Large Sized Parking Lot *Outdoor & Indoor Seating *Inside Irvine Spectrum *Friendly and Excellent Service Food/Drink: *Peach Salad (Seasonal) *Pulled Pork Sandwich (with fries) *Cornbread (Complementary) Stopped by here for lunch with my sister while shopping at the Irvine Spectrum. The restaurant was easy to find, and the service was excellent from start to finish. We ordered the seasonal peach salad and the pulled pork sandwich with fries. The food itself was a little underwhelming, as most of the dishes were fairly bland and didn't have as much flavor as I was expecting. The complimentary cornbread was a nice touch, though. The highlight of the visit was definitely the service. The staff was friendly and attentive, constantly checking in on us without being overly intrusive. Overall, the service was the best part of the experience. While I enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality, I'm not sure I would come back specifically for the food.

They changed their model! It's now a sit-down restaurant - check in with the host (or I assume that you continue to the register if you order to-go). What I do like is that you don't have to wait in a line for others to order. I felt that the food came out faster today too. Megan is fantastic and was super kind, helpful, and patient with us!!

Nice soul food restaurant with lots of options and great flavor. Everything we ordered was delicious and packed with flavor. You order at the counter and they bring out the food to your table. They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff are very friendly. The portions are on the smaller side but still satisfying enough.

Service was amazing they were super sweet. The food was good - the Mac and cheese stood out though I will say the coleslaw was bitter as if the red cabbage had been sitting for too long the batter for the chicken was perfectly crispy though very seasoned and slightly salty. Cornbread was good but definitely needs the honey and butter as it is very dry. Overall still a great experience and a very cute spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Absolutely delicious! The food reminded me of my grandma's Southern cooking and that's the highest compliment I can give. It's the first time I've ever had restaurant food that tasted this authentic and homemade. I've already been here several times and this review is long overdue. Very happy this is in Irvine!

Ate at Georgia's on a Sunday for a late lunch. It wasn't too crowded so we were easily able to get a table. You order at the counter, and they'll bring your found out to you. I was debating between the flat iron steak and tri tip, but the staff at the counter let me know they were actually out of tri tip that day. The flat iron steak was good, and the chimichurri was great! I asked for medium rare, but just a couple slices were a bit too rare. The collard greens and coleslaw were both delicious. My collard greens portion seemed to have a bigger pork ratio than I'm used too, but my friend ordered collard greens too and his definitely had more greens. It's a nice casual spot we just found by chance, and I'm glad we decided to try it.

Complimentary corn bread!!! It was delicious. Next time I will order myself a dozen.

Tez was such a pleasure to have taken our order and explained the dishes in detail as we were first-timers at Georgia's. There is nothing like great customer service with a smile and a genuine spirit. The ambiance was fun because they played great music in the background.

Finally gave Georgia's a try! We've always passed by the restaurant going to Spectrum and we decided to go for it. We got the gumbo, shrimp + grits, and the shrimp + fries. The gumbo was the best out of the 3. It was flavorful and after I finished, I wanted to dip the fries in there. The cup is a bit smaller than I thought. The shrimp + grits was good, but it wasn't as flavorful as the gumbo. The fries were standard fries, but it was goood along with their ranch. Service is a little slow with bringing food out, but someone did check up on us once. I did have to ask for water though! I will def return for the gumbo!

Our friend recommended Georgias to us last week. We went during our lunch and ordered blacken chicken pasta and fried chicken platter with two sides ( Cajun rice and fries). They were low on staff but we didn't mind and she was super nice. There is plenty of seating inside and out. Honestly, the food is really good. I would come here again and recommend. The fried chicken is different. It's light crispy and airy. The Cajun rice was good too. The blackened chicken pasta was creamy and good but could've used a little extra love.

Was craving soul food and really wanted some of that Georgias chicken!! I'm upset because this recipe was not the same as the one located in Anaheim. The one at Anaheim had some CRUNCHY, crispy chicken. So I was disappointed that this chicken was more greasy. I did love the Mac, the Cajun rice did not taste Cajun, and my daughter said her waffle tasted stale, and my bf enjoyed his jambalaya. I was way more satisfied with the location and the service! Our drink girl was so beautiful and sweet, really made the experience perfect!

Good food and fast service. This is an order at the counter type of place which is nice when you're kind of in a hurry. I think they also have a brunch on the weekends with some selected brunch items. Nevertheless, I went with the fried Chicken. We went with the fried pickles to start and the lady had the shrimp Po. Boy. They do all you can drink sodas and the service was pretty good. As I said, it's a quick version of Southern Staples so it's worthy of a shot. Give it a try

A great place for soul food located in the center of Irvine Spectrum. The closest parking to this location is either in the south side of the structure that is closest to the movie theater or the parking lot directly outside of the restaurants. Both require a brief walk to the restaurant. The parking can be very crowded at times and there are alternative parking lots and structures that are a little farther away. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available at this location. You order your food at the register and are given a number to bring to your table. They have a pretty large variety of dishes on their menu. The staff were very friendly and the service overall was excellent. The meal came with complimentary cornbread and honey butter. The cornbread was warm with a slight crisp on the outside but was soft in the middle. We were sharing a blackened chicken pasta and the restaurant offered to split the dish for us for free. The pasta was cooked al dente and had a delicious savory and creamy sauce. The chicken was tender and had good flavor as well. The beignets were very crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside and the chocolate sauce that it came with was a great addition. There are so many great options on the menu and I can't wait to go back and try more of them.

Unfortunately everything had a lack of seasoning. The coating on the chicken looked great but had no flavor. The smothered pork chops had a gravy that was very watery and flavorless. The chef needs to embrace salt.

Even though it was 6:15 on a Saturday night, we were able to be sat right away. As soon as we walked in, someone greeted us and showed us to our table. Our server immediately got us waters and asked if we wanted anything else to drink (wife and I both got some delicious beers that they had on tap). We had our little one in tow with us and they were so accommodating to him! As soon as we were ready, our server took our order. We got: Chowder "frots" (fries and tots mixed in with some New England clam chowder, bacon, onions, cheese, and other goodies) 10/10, would definitely order again. My wife got the lobster roll with a side of clam chowder. Loaded with lobster, but you do pay the price. Labeled as market price, this was almost $40. Delicious, but not worth it in our opinion. 6.5/10. Pan roast (house specialty which came with shredded crab, shrimp, clams, and muscles). This, topped with rice, was heavenly. Better than any pan roast I've had. Came out ripping hot as it should. My wife was envious of my dish. 10/10 From the kids menu we also ordered the chicken Alfredo. My kid loved it, but my wife and I both had a bite and wow, we would've ordered that for ourselves it was so good. 10/10. We can't wait to come back just for the food. On top of that, however, service was above and beyond. The servers and everyone in the restaurant were so accommodating to us and our child and made us feel so, so welcome. We would come back even if the food was bad, solely for the service we received. Vibes we great, decoration on the walls look like they hired an artist to paint it. They had two TV's behind the bar / prep area that was showing NBA and PGA which I'll never complain about. All around 10/10 experience.

The cooking uses quality ingredients and love and care. I was here on business by myself and was seated immediately and after a quick look at the menu decided on the devil's cut ribeye a steak. It comes with a massive amount of oven, roasted potatoes and green beans. I also got a side salad with it as well which was way too much food for one person. The entire thing was big enough for two normal or maybe even three light eaters. The steak was excellent with a sweet coffee rub with a slightly sweet mapley taste. I could only finish about half and save the rest for the next day. Even though I was full, I decided to try the fried apple pie because it was recommended by many other reviewers. It was actually amazing. It was the dish that was highly recommended by the server and she was not wrong. The ice cream on top was probably House made and the pie itself was like a gourmet version of a hostess apple pie but of course with much higher quality ingredients and it was delicious. The vibe of the restaurant is exciting. It is a fun place to visit with the visual aspects such as the bird cages in the window case. Oak barrels used for aging whiskey are set around and the general vibe was very attractive. Everyone was having a great time and making quite a lot of noise from all the conversation and the music, but people were really enjoying themselves. If you want to have a quiet conversation with someone, this is probably not your place, but if you want a fun time with that kind of vibe, it is an excellent place. I recommend Bosscat highly.

We learned that the menu features the favorite recipes of the owner's husband (you'll see his photo on the wall!), and there's a real sense of heart put into the cooking. Everything we ordered was served piping hot and clearly made-to-order. The Menu Highlights: Starters: The fried pickles are a must-order huge, crispy, and battered to perfection. The cornbread muffins with honey butter are a great comfort touch. Mains: My husband went for the smothered pork chop meal with black-eyed peas, which were deeply flavorful and 'soulful' in the best way. My son loved the generous portion of chicken tenders, and my hot wings were a standout the mild sauce is honestly some of the best I've ever tasted. The Surprise Star: I'm still thinking about the garlic fries. They were unapologetically, perfectly garlicky. The Experience: Beyond the food, the service here is top-tier. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, from the person who took our order to our server, who shared the history of the restaurant with us. The space is surprisingly roomy with both comfortable indoor and outdoor options. We'll definitely be back!

HOUSE PAN ROAST It tasted exactly what was expected. A creamy tomato soup consistency and flavor. Got level 2 or 3 for spice level. I wanted more of that creamy flavor, not spice. Any higher than 3 would be Tabasco level spice and up. Deliciously filled with shrimp, chopped scallops, small crab meat. I could taste the crab meat, which was all sitting at the bottom of the bowl. The scoop of jasmine rice with the creamy pan roast was comfort on another level. Got the small size, but it is enough for me. I do wish there were more shrimp and scallops and crab in the pan roast. I felt the scallops and crab were chopped too small and wished there was a bit more. But still I enjoyed the pan roast and would get it again. As an appetizer and accompaniment to the house pan roast, they bring a basket with three sliced breads and a side of butter. It's a light, soft bread with a bit of sour flavor. Didn't like it. I would have preferred dinner rolls. CUSTOMER SERVICE I arrived 1 hr before lunch closing time. It closes at 2:00pm and then re-opens for dinner at 5:00pm. But service was good! Hey Jackson, Instead…read moreof giving me an imaginary prize for being relentless, I would much rather appreciate your business taking accountability for the really poor service I had to experience in order to get a basic refund as a result of a mistake that was clearly from your restaurant. I can definitely be more upfront about my dietary needs moving forward when ordering, but even your employee admitted over the phone that chicken is not automatically part of the item that I ordered. If your staff wanted to add chicken to an item that should be seafood only, perhaps they should have asked if I was okay with that. After communicating with your employee about my concerns, I realized that the mistake on the food was secondary compared to the horrendous service I experienced when I shared my concerns. In your reply, you failed to mention anything regarding customer service that I mentioned, so let me say these facts again. I was hung up on several times over the phone, ignored multiple times when I showed up in person the next day, pressured to sign a claims release in order to get the refund, then was told I was an inconvenience to your business. Another fact is I lost my appetite after tasting your food yet was essentially called a liar when I came in the next day because I didn't appear sick to your employee. I cannot believe that is how your employee was allowed to treat a customer and I honestly hope you had a serious conversation with them. For the record, I was signed out of my main account for several months and did leave a review on a temporary account. Once I gained access to my main account, the review on my temporary account got deleted because that account got deleted. I operate on only one account and needed to re-write any reviews that got deleted. Looks like someone reported my review for your business, so I did revise it to better follow yelp's guidelines. Therefore, it is absolutely not an exact duplicate of the previous review. The real impact here is not only the loss of appetite, but also how I was treated after I raised concerns. It really was one of the most horrendous experience with restaurant staff. I will never again feel comfortable stepping inside your restaurant that is careless enough to scoop an item that was already made with chicken in it instead of making a fresh one with only seafood then try to pressure a customer to sign a claims release to protect yourselves. Nice try, but I'm not falling for that and neither should anyone else.

I love how full they were with mixture and the crispy bacon and onions all made the combo a hit. Perfect with the Bellini! Then I moved on to the Greek yogurt. It was pre sweetened with maybe vanilla. I guess I liked that. Normally the yogurt at these restaurants is unsweetened and that can be a shock with each bite. It came with lots of bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Also hazelnuts and granola. The they threw in a blueberry muffin. Wow! That was a lot of food. I washed that down with a latte. I gave the restaurant only 4 stars because I asked for the scrambled egg with no salt. The waitress called it pup eggs which is not advertised on the menu. No dog food was advertised. I saw the side of an egg for $2.50 so I decided to give it a try. The thing I didn't like is that on the bill it was $5.00. I don't like things like that. Just charge for the food and don't up charge because you've given it a cute name. Just wasn't necessary. Otherwise, everything really good and I'd definitely go back. One thing that always amuses me: the bar is packed at brunch with people already several drinks deep at 10 a.m. I love that for them. Vacation-mode activated. The only downside is the waitstaff. Very LA-snob energy. You get the feeling you're inconveniencing them simply by showing up, which takes away from an otherwise great experience. So I don't go often. But when I'm craving soul food, it's one of the few places I'll happily return to.

Was here on a Wednesday and the special for that day was alfredo and garlic toast for 11.99 and a glass of wine for half off. Skipped the wine and got the good deal. Creamy, savory goodness. Hubby and I shared the Irish tots which is super yum although they could have done better with the portion of cheese. Plenty of bacon and bits of cheese here and there w/the tater tots. Big portion and most of it was taken home in a to go box. Sampled hubby's meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Savory goodness again! Mixed veggies were OK. Those were taken home. Awesome that they have Thrifty's ice cream! Generous and delightful scoops of rocky road and vanilla for hubby and I. Our server, Colin was so sweet and efficient. He shared that his grandfather lives in Torrance which were visiting from. Good vibes cheering with everyone for the home team. They have several large screen TVs Looking forward to a 2nd visit or trying the Los Al location!
