My husband and I started with a beer and a cocktail with the crab artichoke dip. The appetizer was delicious and hot. We ran out of bread and were able to get another serving of house bread easily and quickly. Beers tried were: Howzit's Hawaiian Time, and Hana Koa's Rice Breaker x2. He enjoyed both. Cocktails tried were: Thai Gimlet, Doctor's Orders, and a tequila cocktail that a regular suggested a float of mezcal with. All were delicious, unique, and approachable. I've managed a few bars, and I can say with full confidence that their cocktails are fairly and affordably priced, delicious and well built. For our entrees, we enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan (husband) and Seafood pan roast. My husband left nothing on his plate, and I asked for a takeout container for the remnants of my sauce- it was THAT GOOD. Our experience, dishes, and beverages from Kalapawai Kapolei has always left us happy and full, the staff is why we keep coming back. Props to everyone and thank you for our wonderful experience on our rare night out

Family got some snacks & I finally got the palaka print reusable bags. I asked a nice employee if they had any of the cooler bags and he said they were out. I know they go fast when it's in stock but it didn't hurt to ask. The store itself is very clean and the produce section is nicely spaced out so carts can easily go by. The fruit and vegetables looked pretty fresh. I did not get a chance to venture over to the deli/hot food section but I know I will on my next visit to a Foodland Farms.. The cashier was nice and friendly with much aloha. I had not used my Maika'i card in a long time & wasn't sure if I was still in the system, but she found me! Overall, nice experience .

We grab a bunch of different poke, they have hot food bar, and different options for musubis and onigiri. The poke is fresh and good quality. We made a visit to Jolene's Hawaii in Ewa Beach n' I ordered a Buttah Lobster Roll + Waffle Fries with Creamy Sauce n' Birria Wontons + Consomme. I gotta say aside from the chunky garlic buttah n' meaty lobstah, the Asian style pickled veggies in the roll, give the crunchy texture n' next level flavor that is deliciously out of control!" SERVICE: friendly INTERIOR: small, table seating can get filled up quickly, nice decor, the best is they have a sink to easily wash your hands EXTERIOR: in the same plaza as Ross, has picnic style tables on the side of restaurant + one right in front WAIT TIME: 15 mins between placing order n' receiving food PARKING: large free lot OVERALL COMMENTS: my go-to is their buttah lobster roll, which always hits the spot. Everything about it is delicious. I make it a combo n' either get the corn chowder or waffle fries, which are both great complimenting sides. The birria wontons are crispy n' make a nice appetizer or side to any meal. Especially with the consommé, full of flavor with a mild heat. Jolene's always has lots of good food n' drinks to choose from!

My wife and I have started coming weekly considering how delicious it is. Who would have thought a gyro from a salad restaurant would be this good. I highly recommend giving it a try if you like gyros. The meat has a ton of flavor. The greens are healthy and soft. Their cheese and sauce is also really good. I am craving one as I write this review. LoL. There is always plenty of parking in this shopping center. The interior is nothing fancy out trendy, but is comfortable. The stars appear to be a bunch of young women. They are kind and get the job done. If you like gyros, this place is worth a shot.

I personally would recommend this location over the Kahala Aloha Salads because the employees at the Kapolei location actually acknowledge you and work very efficiently. I ordered the Gyro wrap and was so happy with my choice. It was a bit on the messier side because I unwrapped parchment paper from the wrong end and ended up looking like I was eating a sloppy Joe sandwich lol. The Hibiscus was very refreshing and my favorite part of stopping at Aloha Salads!

Underrated local dinner spot…read more The entry to this restaurant is so easy to miss because it's so narrow and it blends in so well with everything. I don't know if they want to keep it hidden, but I guess you could consider it that. We went in on a Saturday night with reservations and I highly recommend it since the place was full when we went in and more people kept wanting to come and eat. Service was great from beginning to end, I especially love that everyone accommodated my stroller and my baby. There were four of us and we each got something different, but to start I highly suggest the steamed shrimp and pork wontons and the lechon style Brussels - I would've double-ordered those for my entree if I could have! For entrees we ordered the garlic noodles, misoyaki butterfish, seared catch-of-the-day, and the burger. They were all amazing, and after we all started letting each other try we started making our own "flights" because everything just hit different spots and flavor profiles. In summary, this is one of those places that doesn't care about aesthetics, the decor is casual, but the food is soooo ono. They focus all their energy on food and service, and that makes a winner winner chicken dinner in my book.
