The customer service was amazing though, they will give you their opinion on certain items and the food was hot like it was made to order. The delivery time showed it would be 30-40 minutes, which is not unthinkable. At 45 minutes, my poor Door Dasher was still sitting there waiting. They originally told her it would be 30 minutes before they had enough chicken for my 16 piece order. I told her I was fine with that. It would be nice and fresh and hot! She wrote me again after the 30 minutes plus and said she was told it would be another 15 minutes. Apparently, it doesn't matter when you order, drive through comes first so if you order for delivery and they have so many drive through customers that they have to cook chicken multiple times, it's just tough luck since You didn't want to pick up your own chicken...or CAN'T pick up your own. It was an hour and ten minutes before we got our order. I have been treated poorly at Popeyes before but this was the worst. I'm still dumbfounded by it. I will think long and hard about eating at Popeyes again PERIOD! If you treat delivery orders so thoughtlessly, then I guess I don't need to think about Popeyes next time I want fried chicken. And I will make sure I tell everyone I know the same thing if they even bring up fried chicken. And the chicken was barely above lukewarm when it got to us. It was a very disappointing experience.
