I have eaten at this subway for as long as it's been there. I have ordered the steak and cheese on numerous occasions. I went in this morning, to order the steak and cheese, and the guy gave me literally a table spoon of meat. When I questioned him, he said, sorry that's all we can give. After he had put mayo on the bread, put the eggs in the microwave, I decided to leave, as it was apparent, he wasn't going to add meat, unless I paid an additional $1.25. I guess subway is now trying to get back money lost during the pandemic. Not blaming the helper, Subway need to get a measuring tool, so your employees are not scared to put too much meat on the sandwich. read more

Ordered 2 kids meals..got home and didn't have everything I asked for on my sandwiches. Call the store, and was told a manger would call me the next day. NEVER HAPPENED!! I called them back only to be told by the clerk that she would call the manager STEPHANIE. She calls me back and says that STEPHANIE wants to offer me 3 damn cookies...huh????? Really. After a hard shift of fighting crime around all the lands, sometimes I need something filling but not extremely heavy. This Subway is much closer to my work and far less crowded than the spot in Signal Hill. The employees here during the evening hours are friendly and already know me, which rocks. I enjoy that level of customer service. Not much to say about the food. Subway is Subway anywhere in the United States. No difference really. And no complaints about the order accuracy. If it's wrong, it's because you weren't watching through the damn glass. I mean, really? Best feature of this restaurant is the proximity to my favorite car wash (located in the same parking lot). So if you have 30 minutes for lunch, drop by and have a sandwich then drive quickstyle through the car wash, or visa versa. Oh! And they deliver! Go figure. But if I recall correctly, only during certain hours - as they don't want to get their stuff stolen like Pizza Hut drivers might. read more

I required a sandwich platter for a group of 21 young men I mentor on Tuesdays @ a local middle school. I stopped in the day prior and spoke with Jessica (AWESOME) regarding my request. Not only did she and her team meet and fulfill my expectations, they fully exceeded them! Jessica advised me that she would come in extra early the following morning and fill the order. I arrived promptly @ 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 31 and Jessica greeted me by name. She and one of her wonderful sandwich experts assisted me to my vehicle and wished me well. The mentees greatly appreciated the care and compassion of the work put in to the making of their sandwiches. They asked me to personally call and thank (AMAZING) Jessica and her team (which I did), and she exhibited such class, professionalism and humility. So weird I am writing a review about a Subway! But I can't help it. This one is head and shoulders above the rest. The bread is always fresh (I notice some Subways bread is crumbly) and the employee attitudes are superb. The restaurant is also extremely clean and well kept up. There are two other Subways near my office, but I drive to this location to get great food and great service. Two of the employees I see regularly are Jessica and Seline. They remember my sandwich, which is hilarious, but shows really great attention to customers. Can't believe I have a "usual". I see the manager/owner from time to time, and he is also very pleasant. I have eaten at many a subway. We all know that the freshness of the ingredients vary from location to location. This particular location is right on the money when it comes to freshness. The Spinach is clean and fresh, the tomatoes are never mushy and have a wonderful healthy color to each slice. I could go on an on about the great quality of ingredients, but I won't. This store has the most awesome employees. They aren't sitting around waiting for customers, they are moving around and picking up after us slobby customers come in and spill honey mustard sauce on the seats and sweep up when my children drop chips on the ground. I have made orders on the internet and they always have the items ready and waiting. I don't say fabulous too much, but this place is epically fabulous. The customer service is excellent and the food served fast. I enjoy going to this location at 4207 E. Willow. I have a closer one I could go to at 2150 E. Willow St., but the customer service is bad and I even think I got food poisoning one time there because the food was not prepared properly. The manager Maria is very rude. There a few places I go to eat were I look forward to it because of the service and quality of food. But this place is amazing...the women there are so polite regardless if there busy or not. They greet you with a smile and the team work there is awesome. Even if there is ten people in line you will be out of there in 5 minutes. I rated this place 4 stars for one reason only: they are constantly running out of Ms Vicky's Jalepeno chips and are usually out for a couple of days. I, personally, don't like to enjoy a subway sandwich without these chips and walk out if they aren't available. Other than that, they seem to always have a very clean facility, the ingredients always seem to look fresh (even after midnight), and, so far, all of the employees are friendly and competent. Also its right off the 405 freeway, great parking infront of 2 gas stations and like 3 hotels around in the same block. well lit and convenient restaurant when traveling, open 24 hrs. I like coming to this subway after a long work night and I'm craving a bite to eat. I don't really have any complaints with this place since one of the girls there that always takes my order always has a good attitude. Anyways, I'm writing this review right now because tonight was one of those long working nights (I'm off from work at 12am). I came in today , but this time I decided to send my boyfriend in (probably already a mistake there). Then I see that the girl that usually makes my sandwich wasn't available but that never really bothers me. When my bf gets to the car he tells me that their oven wasn't working, but that's fine to me cause stuff always happens. Okay, that's not even what made me lose it... I open up my sandwich and this thing looks like the girl just slapped everything in and it's drenched in mayo. I tried to stay calm because I don't like to throw fits, but I was just so excited to eat this sub, and it was really disappointing to be eating a cold soggy sandwich. I'm not going to stop coming here since this subway is more convenient to home, I'm just going to make sure that girl doesn't touch my food again. My girlfriend was craving a BLT so I looked for the closest Subway to me. Although this Subway was much farther than my other options, it had 4 star ratings on Yelp (a rarity when it comes to fast food) so I said f- it. The 15 minute drive was well worth it because this is the best Subway I've ever been to. I went around 2AM and was greeted by two female workers (I didn't catch their name, sorry!). Ordered avocado on my sandwich which is 75 cents extra. The girl couldn't cut the avocado her co worker or manager helped her, I didn't think anything of it until I took a bite of my Sandwich.
