I brought it up at the counter and the employee wouldn't even look at my receipt or the order on my phone. No interest in checking, no acknowledgment that anything was wrong. He refused to refund me and said the only thing he'd do was remake it, meaning I'd stand there and wait all over again for a mistake that wasn't mine. No manager was offered or available. So I paid full price, waited 20 minutes, got half a sandwich, and was treated like the problem for pointing it out. Fixing an order you got wrong isn't a favor to the customer. It's the bare minimum. Subway was one of the last fast food places we would frequent. The others had all screwed up too many times. We were happy enough, though. Then the last two times we got the wrong bread. I hate mean people and I hate being treated badly. I've bagged groceries, worked in departments stores and in retail so I know what it's like to work with the public. It wasnt until my encounter with employee "NERY T" at this Subway (at least that's what his nametag read) that I have decided the award him "the nasty employee of the month" . . I took my senior friend from a doctor's appointment to SUBWAY. He ordered three sandwiches "to go" for the upcoming week. I only wanted drink but the cups are behind the counter, so when he was near them, I asked for one. He said "I'm busy...you have to wait until I'm done". Odd, I thought , he could see we were together but I thought "hmmm...ok...I'll wait a couple of minutes... no prob." When he finished wrapping the sandwiches he asked my friend if there was anything else he wanted. Again, I requested a cup. Again, he said I would have to wait. OK....WHAT THE HECK?? I pointed out that the cups were right behind him and he finally and begrudgingly handed me a water cup. I said I wanted a soda cup. He said I "didn't say that" (with a HUGE TUDE). But he never bothered to ask me. He hardly made eye contact and had a piss- poor attitude with a snarkiness you don't encounter often (thank goodness). This guy was probably half my age. I realized that he was the same guy who ignored me the last time I went there months ago. when he went a to the man behind me, completely ignoring me, the customer asked if I had ordered. The employee said he thought I had already been helped. He just went right past me. NICE! There's another review on YELP with a photo of an employee jumping over the counter attacking a customer. It looks just like him. This place let's guys like this treat people badly. They clearly don't care. An employee on a petty power trip. Why do I say this? I came to eat here on a late weekend evening, and there are some interesting characters in the area around that time. Fortunately, such interesting characters did not go into this place when I came here, nor did they bug me as I was coming in and out of this Subway location. This place is small, with seating toward the front of the store, and one or two employees at the sandwich counter. The only downside to this location is its lack of restrooms, but it is not a big deal as the In N Out across the street has restrooms. The employees here were friendly, and made my sandwich well. I ate my food, and then I was off to my next destination. I found the place to be clean, and nicely decorated. In the few times I've been to this location, I've never had a bad experience. Great Subway! This subway is located on sunset. I will first start by saying that the location is a hit or miss with some. As for me...I wish I could take this subway and maybe stick it in another area. This location on the outside is very dirty and there are too many bums in the area. Every time I come there are at least three. Sometimes they don't bother you, other times they are asking for change. The area is also the dirty and does not look good at all on the outside. If you can get past dirty Hollywood to walk in, you will be okay. As soon as you walk up to this location the windows are clean which is refreshing because the area is not. As you are walking in there are employees waiting to greet you, and whenever I come here they are always pleasant to me no matter what time of day it is (they are open 24 hours).
