Burger lands wrapped in paper, still steaming. Soft bun, cold crisp lettuce, cheese melted into the patty, grilled onions and spread dripping. Messy. Worth it. Fries are cut in-house -- you can see the potatoes stacked by the slicer. Thin, hot, not greasy. Lightly salted and gone fast. Just fresh ingredients done right. Burger and fries for under $10 and you walk out full. This is probably my 2000th burger, and it still hits the same. An icon. The best! An LA staple. Clean, fast, consistent. When you want a real burger without the hype or the $25 bill, this is it.

The manager gets away with it because ALL YOU SYCOPHANTS refuse to under-rate them when YOUR order doesn't go as planned. Most of America gets away with subpar service because a significant proportion of the Public can't be bothered to report or refuse to report so they can feel part of the In-N-Out Burger Cult. I order the same meal every time, with two fries and I only get one. They're often stale and resemble classic potato chips. I order a strawberry or vanilla shake and half of it is blended with chocolate. The burger is just meh at this point, nothing special, somewhat dry and small. But if I actually 'get my food' then at least I haven't been robbed of my money! The owner is an entitled billionaire who left the state because she didn't want to pay (literally) pocket change to the government to make our lives better. And here she is having her managers nickel and diming us to keep her profits absurdly high... I'm over it. I hope she fails. Get it together, Hollywood manager. Fix that traffic issue, fix the low quality of food preparedness, and stop ripping-off your customers who are too sycophantic to report your indiscretions. Cheers!

So that's what I did, and then came back to stand for several minutes at the SECOND register to complete my transaction before anyone came over. The same register I had originally asked if I could order at. Then not only that, but they had a hard time finding my order and we're just overall confused I interrupted their work flow.

The lobby was closed, and customers were expected to sit outside in the extreme heat. The manager informed customers that the lobby was closed but did not provide any explanation as to why as there was no construction going on and the tables were clean, with nothing wrong with them. There were children and elderly customers outside, and I was also working with an adult with autism at the time. I found it extremely concerning and unprofessional that customers were left outside in those conditions while the restaurant continued serving people. I understand that there may be operational reasons for closing the lobby, but customer safety should still be a priority, especially during extreme weather. On top of bad customer service- service was slow. A formal complaint has been reported to Shake Shack regarding this incident, and I hope management takes the matter seriously and reviews what happened at this location.

I come to this panda express every now and then since my sister lives right by it and I am disappointed every single time.They serve extremely small portions and if you're a true Chinese food lover like I am, authentic or not, you know they don't usually give you small portions to start with. On multiple occasions Ive had the server purposely scoop a bit off the top of the rice or orange chicken and put it back onto the tray after having put it on my combo already .. what kind of service is that!? It might sound like I am being greedy or just exaggerating but truth is they really need better training there. At first when it opened I thought maybe it was the "newness" you know? But after a while it got really insulting especially the day I got home with my honey walnut shrimp to find 3 pieces of shrimp inside . THREE! I had to drive all the way back to complain and found they had closed already and it was fairly early ... which also doesnt make sense since the area is very lively especially at night. I won't be buying food here, convenient or not. It isnt worth the money! Drive down to the panda in Pavillions on Vine, better customer service and better portion sizes. read more

Very fresh food, just loved the selection and the flavor of the food. I went to one in a Airport a few years back and it was just okay. But this one in Hollywood was GREAT. Very clean, friendly staff. The manager was so nice Jerrylyne I think her name was. Gave me samples of there dishes before ordering. Just great service. I now go every week to this location. I could use a bit more chow mein with my 2 piece meal. I ran out of it, not enoght to go with my remaining food. I will ask them to give me a good helping of it next time and see what happens. LOL read more

One of the best Panda's in Los Angeles !! There's this guy named Jay and he is really nice and applies good customer service. He's better than that assistant manager they currently have there because she was rude. Anyways he took my order with patience and with a smile. If you want anyone serving you, I recommend him any day . Besides him, the store offers you good food, atmosphere, and cleanliness. I'd recommend any of my friends to this location. Panda Express is one of my favourite fast food. It doesn't even seem to be fast food since it's a delicate food. Among panda expresses in the whole us, this one has a lot of food I can choose.(Sometimes I can't get some menus since they are popular) Also they are very kind staff. Zankou is an LA institution…read more This isn't the original murder chicken location in East Hollywood, but honestly that's a good thing. This Sunset location feels cleaner and actually maintained. The original spot feels like whichever side of the family runs it just stopped caring years ago. I've actually never eaten inside this location. It's always been a pickup spot for me. I have eaten inside the North Hollywood location dozens of times though because I have a friend who, for some reason, always gets the tri-tip. One thing Zankou does really well is packaging. Everything is sealed up properly, organized, and survives the trip home better than most takeout places. My biggest wish is that they'd make their own pita bread. Imagine getting this chicken with fresh baked bread coming out of the oven instead of packaged pita. That would elevate the whole experience to another level. Somehow none of the locations do that. So yeah, if you're choosing between locations, I'd point people toward this one or one of the newer stores instead of the original spot. The chicken is still the chicken. The garlic sauce is still the garlic sauce. Some things don't need changing.

I let staff know I was there for pickup and they were able to get it ready within a few minutes (and ahead of schedule). Great experience overall! Tables were clean and decent seating. Bowls are on the saucy side I would recommend light sauce. A $20 bowl with a healthy chunk of salmon is honestly not too bad! Parking lot with free valet in the back of the building.
