Fatburger is a chain and they are all about the same. This one is very good. We love their burgers, fries and shakes. This Fatburger is always clean and comfortable. I think most people like to order to go, but we enjoy eating there. There is always a table to sit at. The service is very nice and they will get your order right the first time. All their burgers are made to order so give them a minute. They don't have a huge menu which is fine. They make great burgers and if that is what you want, you are in the right place. You can also have delivery. I think it is third party, but I am not sure. I have never had them deliver. They also have turkey burgers and impossible burgers but I have not tried them so I can't offer an opinion. I do know that their onion rings are so good and get chili on your French fries. Ordered the Original fatburger. It's a juicy 1/3 lb beef patty with a nice pickle layer and mustard on top. The large tomato slice was ice cold on top balancing a warmth to this burger when you bite into this immediately after being served. The shredded lettuce is not too loose on top and the mayo is fairly light on top. The size of the original fatburger is adequate and you can increase the size or add other add-ons too if you like. This is a nice fast food option to have if you're in the area. The staff here are friendly and efficient with orders. The foot traffic is not busy during off peak hours. When I first arrived in Los Angeles years ago, I remember I had my first Fatburger. With a fried egg! Today I was craving one and decided to try this location on Santa Monica Blvd. in West Hollywood. It doesn't disappoint. The service was so nice and with a big smile. My large Fatburger was great...and huge. Very clean inside and a nice location if you want to eat in. Love the old b/w photographs of jazz and R&B music legends on the walls. They also have turkey burgers, a chicken sandwich, milk shakes, sweet potato fries...and the newer meatless "impossible" burgers. Plus right now they have breaded chicken strips and fries made with Frank's Nashville Hot Seasoning and a lot of other good stuff. There's easy free parking just outside. read more

I hate complaining, but this was the worst turkey burger, onion rings I've ever had at a fat burger in my life! The onion rings were extremely greasy... the turkey burger I don't know what was going on with that. So disheartening to spend 20 bucks and can't get your money back. Why would I want credit on a meal? You couldn't make right the first time?! Ask to speak with manager/owner... and the Sweet lady said he won't be back until next month!!!! REALLY!?!?! This Fatburger location is right on the walk of fame strip and very similar to most other locations. The food is consistent with other locations so if you like the Fatburger this location will meet your expectations with the bonus of being able to hop out and see some old and new stars on the walk of fame. The male cashier was extremely friendly and great customer service BUT the female supervisor wasn't at all she was making face and rude remarks. And was reprimanding the cashier for not charging one simple dipping sauce. I work in the fast food industry for years I have never seen this. She also was being extremely loud when talking to the male cashier and telling him he did a bad job. Her attitude was extremely inappropriate and horrible. I am a fat burger, connoisseur... I was driving home from Santa Monica and saw the fat burger on Santa Monica Blvd.... From the moment I walked in the door the staff was very customer service friendly and asked what I like... They took my order and asked if I wanted certain items When they brought the meat out and slapped it on the grill baby... It was a thick quarter pound if not more burger cooked all the way through for perfection made my order exactly what I wanted and when I bid into it, I could not stop... This location was very clean and the service was incredible. Rosa waited on me and was friendly and helpful. I ordered an impossible burger and she thoughtfully recommended the non-dairy cheese (good choice!). The manager was also working behind the counter, and was so personable and thorough with preparing my order. It was a miserable, hot day and I stopped here on my way home, and so glad I chose this location. Just that extra little bit of hospitality and customer service makes a huge difference. They offer a v. burger, v. chicken nuggets, and an array of v. shakes. Honestly, it might be a better experience for vegans than it is for omnivores (since they did a mediocre job of cooking the meat). I had never had Fatburger before so I opted to try their king-sized burger. The meat was dry and lacked flavor. On top of that, the bread was also dry/crumbly. Luckily, I ordered a side of onion rings which were actually super good. The service was friendly and the restaurant was pleasant (although they could use a remodeling session since the vents were really dirty and the outside paint was peeling). You can get "The Works" with all the condiments. We got the original fat burger & it was not greasy. I like the packaging and also how quick service was. This business is a joke! The outside of the building looks like it should be condemned. How much does paint cost..too much for Fatburger. There are definitely times that you should "judge a book by its cover" and eating out IS one of those times! Sickening I will admit that I have given them more opportunities to redeem themselves than they deserve. At least 50% of the time they get a simple order wrong. Today was no exception. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with Swiss cheese. They made with with American cheese and I corrected them. They simply scrapped the incorrect cheese off the already small totally cooked chicken breast and but a slice of Swiss on it. Regrilled it and returned the mess to me. The chicken was now dried out like jerky. There was a mixture of American and Swiss cheese now which was disgusting. I should have have asked for a refund but I can only imagine how that would turn out considering how they run this dump so I decided to simple decide never to give them another dime and to compose this review so others might learn from my experiences eating here. This is literally my favorite place to go to in LA. They're always quick and friendly whenever I go, they have the best burgers, shakes, and fries! The place could be a tad bit more cleaner but they do what they can, they do get a lot of traffic so I'm sure it could be relatively difficult to keep up with. I had to eat here twice during my trip in LA it was so good. If your a first time visitor and you've never had Fatburger, I definitely suggest you give it a try. It's worth it! read more

Unfortunately, this spot is hit and miss. The burgers are inconsistent- one night they're fantastic, next time they're flavorless. Prices fairly high for the quality, it seems. Came here the other day got two regular burgers + 2 fries and it was $27. The Habit is definitely less expensive and more consistent with quality/taste. The plus here is that this spot is open late so you can grab a late night snack after work or going out. Staff is always kind, but it seems like they're always running a light crew that is stressed. So I'm not very happy right now even though I love me some fatburger. The proble. Is this, I placed my order through the yelp app and it gave me an error so since I was so close I went to the restaurant and paid for my meal there. Come to find out the next day that I paid for my meal twice and now everyone is giving me the run around. Yelps help section goes to a dead end, grubhub is no help and neither is the restaurant do now I have to call my credit card company and have the charge reverse. It's a nightmare.
