The first time I got a spicy chicken sandwich and fries and everything was hot and fresh and the staff warm and polite. Tonight, I was nervous. How many McD's never have their shake machine up? The parking lot is large. I usually use the drive thru versus dining in. They keep the lot and interior pretty clean considering the massive number of travelers pass through. The staff here have been great even when handling disgruntled customers that need a nap. The food and pricing is typical In N Out. Food is hot and nicely packaged. The burger patties are seasoned, having a good flavor. Grilled onions on point. Fresh fixings. Yum. I have to say they have their systems down pat and they know how to move product and people efficiently. The routine for ordering is like it is anywhere in this chain. Staff are always friendly and on the ball. Things move with precision! We ordered two No.2 meals with grilled onions and I immediately scouted out seating. Making a mad dash when a spot opened I planted myself firmly as a dozen others ran for that spot! Oh, and why do so many folks own mega sized trucks and SUVs that barely fit in a parking space? Try navigating a mid-sized sedan between two of those "puppies" and trying to open the door to get out! I would have liked the bread to be more toasty since we ate the sandwiches there. But, that's my preference; I love more texture in my food. Loved the variety of sausages, brats and beef sticks that we got. The bacon was a lot thinner than we're used to. We bought lots of their dry Wolfsen's seasoning since it's one of my bf's favorites! I loved that the beef sticks that weren't too oily and very tasty. I wish we had gotten more of them! The sausages were so flavorful!! We tried them in a variety of dishes. Walking in, the smell of freshly made Chinese food was so good, if I hadn't been hungry when I walked in, I would have been afterward. Ordered a 2 item plate with fried rice, bbq pork and chicken with a side of veggie egg rolls. The owners are super polite and were very happy to have my business. Reminded me a lot of a Chinese place I grew up with down the road from us. The bbq pork was very good, chicken yummy and the fried rice was completely gone (a rarity for me tbh, I make my own normally) the egg rolls were really good as well. It cost me under 13 dollars for a lunch that has me feeling so full I may not need to have dinner. Will definitely be back to try the other menu items.
