Good subway to go to but no wifi !? That's a first subway with no free wifi. Food is good & friendly atmosphere. Clean place also.

Service was quick and friendly. My mouth waters whenever I watch them make the sandwiches. The place smells like bread, in the best way. Having just finished paddleboarding in Deep Cove, a group of us wanted to grab some lunch, and one…read moreof my friends suggested Dip Co. We arrived right around 12:30pm, which I imagine was peak time, so all the tables were full and there long line to get inside. But the line moved fairly quickly so we only waited maybe 10-15 minutes. Once we placed our order, it probably took them another 10-15 minutes to prepare. There is a good selection of sandwiches to pick from, so it was difficult to decide, but I ended up ordering the La Foret Royal. The first thing they mentioned was that it could get cross-contaminated with meat, which I didn't mind because I'm not vegetarian/vegan. However, if I was vegetarian/vegan I would imagine it would've been a turn-off. I ate my sandwich in the park. I was starving after 2 hours on the water, but despite that, I thought my sandwich was so-so. It was certainly huge, and they are generous with the ingredients. But it didn't amaze me. I felt it was stuffed with so much ingredients, no single flavour really stood out for me. In fact, I took half my sandwich home, and when I re-baked it, I felt it had better flavour and texture at that time because their house-made bread was warm and slightly more crispy, and I could reduce the ingredients to better bite proportions. I liked they had a nice selection of chips and drinks. Staff were also very nice. Overall, I have mixed feelings. The place is a nice fit for Deep Cove. Sandwiches make a great picnic option and they fill a definite need. The sandwiches are a generous size, and could easily be split between two people. In terms of flavour, I didn't find it particularly special, but on the other hand, I enjoyed it much more when I reheated it at home. I'd be willing to try again to see if I picked the wrong item on this last visit

Ambiance and Decor I visited this café and sandwich shop on…read morea Friday afternoon during the lunch rush. It's a small, homey place with simple décor. The lighting isn't the best, as the staff mostly rely on the large entrance window for natural light. Service Quality The staff was kind and friendly. They are more than happy to help you choose a sandwich if it's your first time. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Menu Variety Their sandwich selection is excellent, and the bread is particularly noteworthy. They also offer a couple of iced tea options, which is a nice alternative to water. Food Presentation If you're dining in, your sandwich will be served in a plastic basket lined with wax paper. For takeout, it's wrapped in the same wax paper. Food Taste and Quality I ordered the Spicy Italian, which had just the right amount of heat. It was generously loaded with greens, and the multigrain bread was fresh, likely baked that morning. Portion Sizes The portions are substantial. I was only able to finish half of my sandwich for lunch. Price and Value The sandwich cost about $15, which is on the pricier side. It would have been nice to see it priced around $12. Overall Experience and Recommendation If you're in the area or heading to Horseshoe Bay to catch a ferry, definitely stop by S'wich for a sandwich. I will definitely be returning to try other options on the menu.

They both had great meat-to-bread ratio. It gave what it promised, and it felt like a clean eat, which I appreciated. I'd stay away from the coffee though... Maybe it's because I'm from Portland where coffee is literally so good everywhere, but the americano was mid at best.

The taste of the fillings was very well balanced with nothing being overpowering. I could taste every single ingredient yet they went together very well! I particularly liked the stracciatella cheese. It added a fluffy and soft texture to the sandwich. The shop was small, cozy and well decorated. There were some available seats when I was there at around 1:30pm. There was no line as the peak lunch hour had passed. They made my sandwich immediately so I didn't have to wait at all.

Italiana was so good. Double Prosciutto!! Truffle flavor was strong and paired with stracciatella cheese. What a great combination! And Arugula was very fresh. Foccacia was very crispy outside and soft inside. One of the best sandwich. I will order again. Monte cristo was also good. Grilled bread was very crispy and nicely pressed. Provolone and prosciutto cotto combination was great, too. Sundried totamto provided great accent. I will order this one again, too. Overall, it was a great sandwich shop. Highly recommend.
