They're probably never that full that they have to use the back dining area, but there is a back dining area in case you want to sit down and eat and be alone.

I've heard good things but they did not hit it out of the park for me. I have dietary preferences that I found very hard to make work here. I had looked at the menu beforehand and identified two options that would work for me. The crispy wings and the burger. It turns out I could try neither of those options as they were out of both. It's a Wednesday dinner service and the restaurant was empty so imagine my severe disappointment. I ended up getting a Caesar salad which was fine but let's be honest a Caesar salad is lettuce, cheese, dressing and croutons. There was nothing to write home about with this one. The other three members of the group got pizzas. Here comes the next disappointment - it took more than 45 minutes for the food to come out. There were only two other tables with people so I cannot understand why it took so long. All this to say I waited almost an hour for my sad plate of lettuce, which was not my first or second choice. I was annoyed and still left hungry. The rest of the group seemed to enjoy their pizzas, but I will not be returning.

Upon entering the nicely cooled place, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated by a window adjacent to the wood fire oven. This was our first visit. The room is very lively. Thankful we were seated in the corner which helped with the acoustics. With the dining room mostly full at lunchtime, it was difficult to hear my bride on the other side of the table. We were in no hurry so overtime, the place thinned out a bit and the volume subsided. Could be a real issue on a busy night. Might try the bar room side next time. (Some decorative acoustic ceiling tiles would greatly reduce the noise.) There were menu additions as well as a limited but decent selection of value wines. We decided on the Shrimp Mango Avocado Tower and a Shrimp Caesar salad and a bottle of Villa Antinori. The Shrimp Mango Avocado salad is one of the best salads we have ever had. Really. Blueberry, strawberry, arugula, candied pecans, feta cheese topped with a limoncello dressing and aged balsamic with a few grilled shrimp. Was hoping for more shrimp, but the salad is very filling. The interplay of the various flavors was very tasty and the wine was a good paring. The Shrimp Caesar salad was also very good. I loved the anchovie and dijon forward flavors with just the right amount of garlic. The homemade croutons with just the right flavor and crunch. The pace was perfect. Server (manager?) was attentive but not overbearing. We had a nice relaxing and delicious light lunch. Exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back to try the pizza and some desserts.

If you like to walk the aisles, this is also a full service store that has KNOWLEDGEABLE, FRIENDLY and helpful staff. I am emphasizing this because of the dumb and sour possess that go to work only for their paychecks elsewhere. When you check-out, besides bagging, they offer to walk you to car to load-up. yellow-where do you get THAT ? I have always supported this market. I think that if I was elderly, it would help me to keep my independence. but in these apocalypse times, this grocer has turned good service into necessity. Better than most store is their cultural and local variety which is always fresh and also interesting new items as well as various ethnic flavors. They run good sales, honor their sales, and run a very clean shop. I have be turned onto several local brands, new cheeses, and finally went back to eating lunch meats because of PQM. You can even order meals pre-made. As always, i am a firm supporter and only shop here. Thank you PQM for your outstanding service, fresh meats and foods, clean store, and all you pleasant staff. hats off !

I typically never leave negative reviews because I know how difficult customer service and the…read morerestaurant industry can be. We all have bad days, and I truly understand that. However, after witnessing how my elderly father and his group of friends were treated during lunch on Wednesday afternoon, I felt compelled to share this as constructive feedback. My father and several of his friends, all gentlemen in their 70s, 80s, and 90s, met for lunch. There was some confusion about the final size of the party. Initially, they thought there would be six people, but as more friends arrived, the total ended up being eight or nine. One of the gentlemen immediately apologized for the mistake. I completely understand that changing table arrangements can be frustrating. However, what upset me was the way the hostess handled the situation. The first group of gentlemen had already been seated when additional members of their party arrived. Rather than simply moving them to a larger table, the hostess appeared visibly annoyed and began squeezing more and more chairs around the small round table they were already sitting at, repeatedly reminding them that they had said six people. She rolled her eyes, rushed them along, and spoke to them in a curt manner that made these older gentlemen seem like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. What made the interaction particularly confusing was that the dining room on that side of the restaurant was largely empty at the time, aside from people coming in for takeout slices. From my perspective, there appeared to be plenty of room to comfortably accommodate everyone, which made the frustration and lack of patience all the more surprising. As I dropped my father off, I witnessed this interaction myself. I was honestly shocked by how little grace and patience were shown. When the hostess later laughed it off to me and remarked that "they didn't know how many people there were," I simply replied that mistakes happen and that these are older gentlemen who deserved patience and kindness. Before leaving, I even asked that they please take good care of my father and his friends. When my father returned home, I asked how the lunch went. He mentioned that while the server did her job, she and the hostess were both rather rude throughout the experience. I wasn't present for the entire meal, so I can't speak to every interaction, but I can speak to what I personally witnessed, and it broke my heart. If you have an elderly parent or loved one, you understand why this upset me so much. But honestly, this isn't even about age. No one should be made to feel belittled or like a burden. My father taught me to respect my elders, and I was disappointed to see so little respect shown in return. The reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because the food itself was enjoyed, and thankfully my dad's friends have a wonderful sense of humor. By the end of the day, they were actually laughing together about how mean the ladies had been. But that doesn't change the fact that kindness and patience are just as much a part of hospitality as the food itself. This review is meant as constructive criticism. Service is hard, and everyone can have an off day, but I hope management takes this as an opportunity to remind staff that a little patience and compassion go a long way. For the record, I watched these gentlemen arrive, and there was no complaining, arguing, or rude behavior from them whatsoever, just an honest mistake about the headcount. People remember how you make them feel, and unfortunately, that is what will stay with me most about this visit.

It's a good go-out-on-a-rainy day experience. The music is also fine: not too loud, nor too fast. Service is also normal for cafes. A bit of an uppity tone does come through for a New Jersey place--where one might anticipate a down to earth ambiance. Other than that, the decor is nice to look at and the atmosphere tends to be clean and well maintained. Perhaps the lack of parking can dishevel a customer's desire to sit longer than necessary--for people are in a hurry to go in an out like a certain burger joint. A huge plus seems to be their sandwiches--which range from traditional styles to fascinating vegetarian artisans in textures, blended flavors, and memorable dressings.
