Traveling through the area in the early am we stopped at this subway (on Phalan Blvd). The food was fine.. not outstanding, but good... and reasonably priced. So why take the time to do this review? One word... Windy W. Windy was a delight, most helpful, and went out of her way to help us with a personal matter. My experience of some 70+ years is this is rare and to be valued. Holy moly. Memorial Day weekend and there was only one woman working. The most inefficient worker I have ever witnessed. She literally took 30 minutes to make four sandwiches for one family. She disappeared halfway through their sandwiches and came back like 5 minutes later. Finally getting into the next order (mind you there are like 6 other people in line), she throws it in the oven and proceeds to chat it up with this fella about how she's about to go take her lunch and people are going to mad about it. Uh, yes. START ANOTHER ONE WHILE ONE IS IN THE OVEN, GIRL. Word to the manager or owner, this exit is a hot spot, especially for holiday weekends. WHY THE HELL would you only have one person work on a holiday weekend?! At least send in one other to help break this woman who clearly was not thrilled to be there. End of our story: third in line and ended up leaving and driving 6 miles away to another Subway because we were confident that was faster than staying in line and risking being cut off so she could go take her lunch. Specific review for the employee with RED hair. She has horrible customer service! We stop here every time we ride up the hill and every time she will tell us and other customers we have to wait 15 minutes before being served. For NO reason! We walked in today and again the same thing! She was literally making other customers' sandwiches and still said this to us. Seems like she purposely does this to avoid serving. Bread, produce, and condiments are fully stocked as well so what's the 15min wait for? Don't get me started on the attitude as well. Super rude and clearly hates her job. read more

I have been here a couple times but my last visit was something else. The "sandwich artist" named Eva was incredibly unpleasant. She was giving me an "I hate you so much" look the whole time I was politely ordering my sandwich. She clearly hates life and the customers who visits the store. Management should fire her and find someone else to make sandwiches. She is a perfect example of why we should not have a minimum wage. Other than the staffing levels for a Saturday or Sunday morning this place is ok by me. Its subway exactly what you would expect. However last Saturday on my way up to Mtn High I stopped here to get some grub for later on. Simply because I prefer to tailgate for $5 instead of buy a bad burger or crappy chicken tenders for $10-$15. So this place obviously just destroys those non deals. Pro Tip: Its hidden inside the shell gas station mini mart I got a subway trio when I was here as it was a $5 special for a footlong. It tasted delicious after boarding all morning. Its just like every other subway you have ever been to. Pick your bread, meat, veggies, sauces, etc and roll! I definitely found this location very convenient. The problem I had here was that they only had one person working! WTH! its the middle of morning rush up the hill at like 8:30 or 9am and you have ONE (1) person working!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh at least I wasnt the last person in line waiting to get grub. I was treated very well. I am eating Paleo and I wanted the sandwich items, not the listed salad, so I asked nicely. I was so happy that she placed all my items in a clean bowl and chopped up my items and played them in my salad bowl, it was HUGE and I had to have 1/2 for dinner (1/2 for lunch)!
