This is a schmear of tuna... definitely not the subway prescribed four scoops in a foot long

Had two very disappointing sandwiches today at this subway. They've recently changed owners and I thought small town xenophobia was driving the poor reviews. Depending on your view, it's either a good sign or a bad sign that the problem with this subway appears to be based in reality. Paid $11.29 for the store to skimp on the tuna which tasted old, cucumbers that are heading towards translucent in spots like they had been frozen and thawed out, and the tomatoes had a hard core/rind which had not been cut out. My partner reached out to the owner before we posted this review. The owner's response was to try to gaslight us saying there were 4 scoops of tuna and that the clearly uncored tomatoes are cored... but they could remake the sandwich for $7.99... I don't really care to give this location another $8 to see if they can serve substandard food again. You're better off going across the street to get a made to order sandwich at Lira's and they've got really good potato salad too in the deli.

Stopped in here one evening while doing laundry probably on a Sunday evening when we walked in the door about 830. The location was already being cleaned up for the night. So I want to say they're dining area closes at eight but you're still able to place an order for your sandwiches after that so they close roughly around 8:30 PM Who were the only two customers in there so we were assisted fairly quickly with our orders to go. Associate assisting us was polite and soft-spoken. And patient with us even though it was close to closing time for walking in last minute. With most subways, usually a pretty decent place to stop in and get something to eat. A small location inside as well. But a clean little set up.

This was supposed to be a Cali turkey sandwich.

This staff lacks in communication, acts of service, professionalism and common sense. The young short blonde and the taller brunette man didn't wear name tags and had attitudes. They both were hiding in the back to begin with. I ordered on sandwich to be toasted. They proceeded to pull off all of the shredded cheese from my sandwich and throw it back into the cheddar cheese container because they "can't toast a sandwich with cheese on it". They had an attitude about it and were completely unsanitary. This staff needs help. Whoever is the manager needs to be trained because this is unacceptable. Neither of these staff could communicate without being disrespectful. They didn't clean up after themselves. We proceeded to eat in because it was hot and they hid in the back again leaving an elderly woman to wait 10 minutes for them to come out. I do not recommend this staff or store.

Nasty bathroom stick next to beverage cups.

This place gives me exactly what I expect from a Subway: a relatively good sub sandwich, friendly staff, good prices, and a clean store.

We are almost never in the small, non-assuming town of Isleton unless we're driving to or from Stockton. But this little sandwich shop is way worth the stop - go check them out! Food was amazing!! After eating here, I cannot eat at any other sandwich shop again. Seriously! It's that good. We ordered The Bobby with Sourdough Roll, Pastrami, Mortadella, Provolone, Mayonnaise, Dijon Mustard, Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, Oil & Vinegar - delicious and a hearty size. We also got The Angela with Croissant, Roast Beef, Pepper Jack Cheese, Mayonnaise, Dijon Mustard, Pepperoncini Peppers, Sprouts, Tomato, Red Onion. Both sandwiches were delicious. We also ordered two zombie sandwiches for a light dinner later that night. They are like bread buns stuffed with sandwich meat and cheese. Very good! You can have them heat the zombies for you. Service was great. The guy who took our order was friendly, respectful, and attentive. They have bottled drinks, chips, and jams and other items from local family-owned businesses. There's no indoor or outdoor seating, so plan to order and go! There's only a small entrance and ordering area inside the restaurant. This is definitely a small business that deserves to be patronized. Go check them out!

There are photos of the hunter and owner of the place from the hunts he made in Africa. Aside from the attraction, the saloon type space has a cozy warm environment. The greeter and waiters were all very friendly. Unfortunately the catfish sandwich which was described as a "Delta favorite" deep fried and with a remoulade dressing was less than stellar. For $24 it was a very small catfish fillet, that seemed more pan fried and had some meager lettuce, onions, tomato and maybe there was some butter on the French roll. The roll was very soft as if it had come out a plastic bag. Wasn't toasted and overall bland. I expected a sandwich similar to a po-boy with classic corn-meal crusted catfish. This was not that. On the menu the sandwich came with a choice of fries or salad. The waiter offered onion rings as well which sounded good. The onion rings were huge but the batter was almost cake-like. Tasted like pancake batter and was so thick it was basically fried dough though there was so much batter the inside wasn't hot or crispy. Partner's French dip tasted fine but was also fairly small for the price over $25. The garlic fries were decent. Crispy and sticky with whatever garlic sauce was drizzled over. This is the kind of place I'd recommend to get a drink at the bar, look around at the animals that made this place notable, but find a meal elsewhere.
