I worked nearby and got a BOGO sub deal to take home. Ok location. I ordered in the app and picked up.

Need a quick sandwich for lunch? Subway is your place. My favorite is that tuna.

I like the $5 foot long options, especially the turkey and ham choices that are about six to seven hundred calories.

Took my sandwich to go, put it on the break room table at work, and nearly lost half my sandwich toppings, which was irritating.

I would order no lettuce and no tomato next time. They were a little skimpy and wilty. The single cheeseburger combo was about $20. They have all the old school menu options, like chili dogs, milkshakes, and onion rings. Service was fine. We went inside the tiny dining room to order. There is also a walk up window on the patio, if you don't want to go inside, and of course, the drive-thru window, if you don't mind waiting in line but in your car. Our food took less than 10 minutes. Another 10 minutes passed before we got home and dove into our food Surprisingly, the fries were still hot and crispy!!! After eating a few fries, it didn't even matter if the burger was good. Haha, but since it was, I will definitely be back to the Village for more!

I was over at a football game at Hiram Johnson and I was STARVING!…read more I wasn't familiar with the area, and the food options. So when I searched food near me, I really didn't know where to go. However my nonnegotiable was I needed a drive thru lol, I didn't want to have to park and stand and wait. After reading the reviews for village and seeing they had a drive thru, I was sold! I love that they have something for almost everyone (bummed there weren't veggie burger or turkey burger options), and it gives old school drive in vibes. I loved that you can get a mix of fish and nuggets, so that's what I ordered, which also came with fries. Then I also ordered a slush puppy which was such a refreshing drink! I had shown up just in time because once I ordered at least 5 cars showed up behind me within a few mins. Food was hot and made to order and I will definitely be back!

I must admit, I was a little shocked seeing the other reviews, but to be perfectly honest, this…read moreWendy's is the one that got me eating at Wendy's after decades of avoiding them. Before talking about service, I feel it's also appropriate to discuss how I am as a customer. I'm very ADHD so I forget things, I custom order stuff, I sometimes ask for things not on the menu, I have even changed an online order when the options I wanted were not there. I am always respectful though and I do apologize for the trouble when I ask for things and I do ask politely. This Wendy's has not only always been accommodating, they have gone above and beyond. Maybe it's my approach or my personality, but the staff here has always been polite and generally kind to me. I've gone to other Wendy's since I started eating here again, it's not universal. I think my worst experience was some confusion that came when I was trying to modify an order I placed online and they mistakenly thought I wanted a different one. They offered to change it, but they handled it so respectfully that I just ended up buying the extra one, since after all, I was the one asking them for something that didn't exist AND ordered it online for the deal, so it's not like I was making their job easier. The food here had been consistently good for me, but honestly, it's the service that earned them five stars, because it's that much better than the standard in the industry. When you go to a 'certain big brand competitor' and they charge you for a Sweet & Sour sauce when you ask for one, making you swipe a .15 cent debit transaction, you notice when a place has been kind enough to just give it to you when you remembered when they could have charged you. I'm not wealthy and I'm an app user, always maximizing the best deals I can get, and even when I feel like an extreme couponer going through the drive through multiple times, they have been kind and respectful to me every time. I've had cashiers politely ask me conversational questions in the lobby, even once gave me a drink waiting for my food. Fast food has gotten expensive, but many places still treat your drive through orders like it's .29 cent hamburger day. While I don't expect it, I notice when places are genuinely kind and exercise compassion with their customers. I know I might not always be the easiest customer, but so many of the people who work here recognize me, say hi to me, and have been kind to me that I believe they deserve recognition for their efforts. Even when I have no idea what I want and don't know the menu well, I never feel rushed and I'm pretty sure a my orders haveb ended up correct. This has become my new favorite fast food place, so thank you for the kindness and the great food.

On my most recent visit, I ordered a simple meal and ended up dealing with food that didn't sit right at all. Shortly after eating, I got sick, which honestly was the last straw for me. Whether it was improper handling or just lack of attention in the kitchen, it's completely unacceptable for a major fast-food chain. Beyond that one experience, the general decline in service and food quality is noticeable. Orders are frequently wrong, staff seem overwhelmed, and cleanliness doesn't feel like a priority anymore. It's disappointing because Wendy's used to be a reliable option, but now it feels like consistency and care have taken a back seat. Definitely not somewhere I trust to eat anymore.

So over the weekend when I had to make a trip to Elk Grove I snatched up the opportunity to stop and bring some food home. I downloaded the app, created an account because I definitely want points and rewards. I also want to order ahead. My very first order was 2 piece chicken meal with spaghetti and mashed potatoes and gravy. It also came with the peach mango pie and the pineapple drink. When getting there my husband goes to pick up the order while I waited in the car with our dog. They were very busy inside and in the drive through so I expected a bit of a wait time. It started to get excessively long so I called him to ask what's going on. He goes to the counter to ask the status of the order. The guy asked for the order info so he gave it to him. He looks around and tells my husband they have no info on my order. That doesn't make sense. So he goes through a bunch of other customers receipts and he found mine. He laughed and told my husband oh I guess we put it to the side and forgot to make the order. Say what? Are you kidding me? They made it then. Strike one on lousy customer service. But maybe the food will make up for it? Yes and no. So my husband brings the food out and the plan was to bring it home to eat. I decided nope I need to try this now because I'm hungry and excited to eat this. I open the spaghetti. Looked good. Tasted better than it looks. I was in love and hooked immediately. My husband took a bite and didn't like it. His loss. More for me. It was a small side so I ended up just eating the whole thing. In the meantime I decided I also wanted to try the burger steak since I don't come often. He goes n to order it and I eat the mashed potatoes and gravy. Best fast food mashed potatoes and gravy I've ever had. Finished that off too lol. He brings the burger steak out. I was going to take the rest home but I wanted 1 bite of the burger steak. The container they used had a hole in the back and they 500 gallons of mushroom gravy ended up spilling over the side down on my bare legs (wearing shorts) and it was hot. At least I'll give them that. Hot, very hot and it's burned my legs. I still have my legs attached so it could be worse. Whatever. I try it. Not impressed. I took the rest home and ate it later because I wasn't going to waste food. But I absolutely wouldn't get that again. It was burnt, bland, dry. Even the Pacific Ocean amount of gravy didn't help the dryness. I ate the chicken at home. Very good chicken. Very juicy and tender. Skin was still crispy even after the drive back to Roseville. I also enjoyed the pie and the pineapple drink I just wish the drink could come in a bigger size. They are opening one in Roseville. I'm not sure when but it seems soon. And I can't wait. I'm definitely going to be a frequent flyer for that spaghetti. The bee outside was cute and I saw a few people taking selfies with it. My husband said the inside seemed clean. He wasn't inspecting it or anything. Just a normal interior of a fast food restaurant. I enjoyed the food, the majority of it. The customer service however was lacking.
