I had the misfortune of walking into this subway today. All the people who work here are extremely rude and unprofessional towards the customer. These people took a leisurely walk outside to have a coffee and I had to get a cup for water after my meal and they come back and scream at me for using the soda cup instead of the water cup and asked me to pay $2.60 for water - can you believe that? No one was around running the store and I was in a hurry to walk out after my lunch and they come and scream at me for drinking water from a soda cup. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely ask the franchise owner to change the staff soon to get better business at this place because you lost one already and many more of my friends! read more

This Subway is the closest to my work but has the shittiest customer service EVER. I felt like if I was bothering the lady because I wanted my bread toasted. Very very unfriendly workers here. Also, they are super stingy with their vegetables. I had to tell the lady not one, not two, not three, but FOUR times I wanted more olives!! Horrible experience!!! 1. Very indifferent employees especially some guy called Martin. He was rude and unplesant. 2. They seem to ration on the veggies on the subs. I had to repeatedly ask for extra veggies....it made me feel very small. 3. The guy actually refused to add extra veggies..... REASON: It seems if you get the 2 subs for 9.99 deal, you are NOT allowed to ask for extra veggies....in his words "you buy cheap sub, you don't get more veggies" WOW!! NEVER HEARD OF THAT before... It's convenient because it's open until 10 pm. Never enough olives though, I always have to ask for more.

Place has always been ridiculous. Ask for a foot long olive sandwich and they'd place 6 olives on the whole thing. Ask for extras and they'd put 1 or 2 more on. Stingy with toppings. Also, couldn't replace ham with turkey on a BMT so got a spicy Italian with turkey instead.... Okay... I will only continue to eat here because of the relative closeness to work. read more

The only reason I give this 3 stars is because it is so conveniently close to my apartment. I can walk. The service though is pretty minimal. The employees really won't talk to you, which is fine...... What really makes me upset is how chincy and cheap this subway it. 3 times now when I get a veggie topping on my foot long they spread 4 pieces of veggies over it and look at me and say "what else?" Last time it was olives. They literally put 5 slices of olives on my foot long.... I asked for a bit more and I am not kidding she grabbed ONE more slice of olive and threw it on there. I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves one, a bad one. Like many mentioned, the employee is rude. I only come here in the morning to grab a breakfast sandwich. Frankly, they have never been welcoming or even smiled at their customers. But hey, what do I care? I'm just here to grab a quick bite. That is until today. I paid with the subway gift saved in my mobile app. The employee didn't seem to know how to operate the register to take a mobile app payment. The transaction seemingly went through because I heard a beep, but she didn't give me any confirmation as she was still fiddling with the register. I heard another beep. Then she didn't even say "ok", or "bye", or "you're good to go" and just walked away without giving me a receipt. What the f...? Again, I tell myself I'm just here to grab a sandwich... nevermind the bad service. It wasn't until I got to work and opened the mobile app again to find that she charged me twice. So yea, I just had a $10 breakfast sandwich. Above all, the service is really bad, consistently bad. I don't think I will ever come back here even though it's close to my work. I can walk to this Subway from my house, a dream come true for me. But I will still drive/walk to a farther Subway. Don't go here. The owner and the usual two ladies that work here have no personality and don't seem to understand the phrase "more olives please". I've tried multiple times. But the idea here is to be as cheap as possible. You can't even get napkins without having to wait for someone behind the counter to get them for you. And even then they will only give you one at a time. So enjoy if your desperate, but this subway isn't worth it, and it's not that hard to run a sub shop. read more

The staff was really rude when i wanted my cheese toasted but not the meat, and she gave me the tiniest slices of tomato, about size of a quarter, she spent a while to pick those (and only 4 slices for a footlong). The manager was at the cashier so i asked whether that staff is new (so she was so rude), the manager defensed his employee with a face without even looking at me, explained that because i said no meat ( before toast) and then asked for meat so she need to do twice the work. So it was my fault that the staff didn't understand my order (she heat the meat anyway with microwave while i tried to stop her) and i deserved the rude faces ? Just bought my foot long there and the lady serving sauce gave me a tiny amount and when I asked for more she gave me the exact amount again which was very less than the usual amt that is served. When I complained to the lady at the register...the sauce lady gave a stare and said that's how much we are supposed to serve..really??? Speed is not always perfection. I came here on my lunch break and asked for a sandwich with no lettuce. They immediately put spinach and did not ask if that was ok. In my mind, spinach and lettuce are fairly similar, so they should have asked. I was extremely disappointed and would have rather waited an extra 20 seconds for them to have gotten it right. read more

I visit this place very often because this is the closest Subway to my house. My order has been incorrectly taken many a times in this store. The staff is sometimes friendly and sometimes not. I once saw a bug in the veggie patty box in their counter. I am guessing they do not keep the place very clean. read more

If I can give zero stars then I would. I asked the lady up front for another napkin and she rudely said there is one in the bag. I replied to her yes there is but that I needed another one because the sandwich I just ate was very messy. I think the lady was the owners wife. I also asked after I paid if I could wash my hands. Another lady told me no and that I can wash it outside. This is the only subway that I've been to that has declined me to use there facilities to wash my hands. This subway is a short walk away from my apartment and I eat here quite often. I have found this to be one of the nicer subways I've ever been to. The sandwiches they make are very 'neat' (if that make sense?) and the bread is always fresh and tasty. I have been to other subways where this is not always the case. My favorites: Turkey breast on wheat when I'm feeling healthy, and Spicy Italian on Herbs and Cheese otherwise. Parking can be a pain if you try to go at a busy hour, so you might want to look elsewhere for lunch on a weekday. read more

I often go to subway for lunch on busy days coz its decent food and very quick. So have been to many Subways in South bay (san jose area). Trust me, You can't get a worse experience than this Subway.. The ladies at the counter are so unfriendly and literally counting even the number of lettuces they keep on a sub. They are so stingy like they are giving it for free.. Its not like I asked for extra veggies or anything.. it gets more interesting.. I ordered a breakfast surise subway melt.. the lady on the counter placed one ham slice and two cheese even after I told her one cheese.. so i told her again.. she thought i am asking for two slices of ham and started aruging with me.. I just walked out.. And another day, the same order.. the flat bread the lady tried to take was damaged and it was kinda stuck with others. She removed all the good ones and spent a minute to take this damaged one for me. I asked her to get a good flat bread.. she pretended like she didn't even hear what i said and just kept going.. Folks, this place is just plain horrible & rotten.. may be its not the (low paid) employees.. this kinda attitude could be coming from the owner and the ladies are doing what they are told.. whatever, don't step into this place. read more

My wife and I have been to this subway several times, as we stay is Elan and its a good walk from home. We never had issues with the quality of the stuff they had, as it is always "fresh". My wife likes avacado on her sandwich which apparently is not always "fresh". Last time we went there, the avacado wasn't tasting well - we tried to convince the servers, but they refused to agree - insisting that everything IS fresh. They were not convinced even after we threw the sandwich in the garbage. We'd rather throw than fall ill. I ordered just a chicken sub (not a meal) and the Asian guy behind the cash register said that he now have to collect tax even for just the sub. We all know that the sub by itself is not taxable. So I don't think I have to write about the food here. Menus are pretty much the same at every Subway. Employees here is not very friendly, NOT AT ALL! They look very unhappy so their vibe makes you uneasy. Never ask how you are doing either. They will ask what you want and if you don't know what you want, they look at you like you are stupid and that makes me feel very bad every time. Sometimes I am so intimated by them that I just chose the same sandwich to just avoid the awkwardness. One thing that really pisses me off is when I ask for extra onions, they always give me a hard time. IT'S ONIONS!! How much can onions possibly cost, especially if I don't want much of anything else on my sandwich? You think the owner would be nicer and greet you better but it's all the same there. After coming here for so long, I am used to it. The only reason why I keep having to come here is because it's right around the corner from where I am staying. Makes no sense to me to drive a few miles down for the same food but better service. I just suck it up. 2 Stars because I like the sandwiches. read more

Probably the best Subway I've ever been to. The service is always polite and efficient. I usually go during my lunch break and even with a line out the door it never takes more than 10 minutes. I decided to write a review of this place after seeing the poor reviews. I am a regular at this place for the tuna sandwich and it is by far the best subway sandwich I've had. In fact, this is my to-go place when I need something quick. All the ingredients that I put - the tuna, the bread, the lettuce/tomatoes/cucumbers/onions are very fresh. I generally go in the late afternoons / evenings - while the customer is not anything close to what one would expect at a fine dining restaurant (it's a Subway after all!), it is alright. The egg omelettes in the morning are also amongst the best that I've had - I have tried them about 10+ times and they have never disappointed. I highly recommend to visit this place for the tuna sandwich - I must have eaten it about a 1000 times in these last 10 years and it must have disappointed me not more than a couple of times. Overall, a fantastic place with very fresh ingredients. No wonder then that the line extends all the way out on the street on each and every weekday around lunchtime - with 15 odd people in the very fast moving queue! read more
