Very disappointing experience at the Subway in Taylor, TX. The employee with pink hair ignored our order, got upset when reminded, and made our second sandwich with an attitude before storming to the back and kicking something. The manager with blue hair handled vegetables with her bare hand and, as we were leaving, told us, "Bye, and don't come back to my store again." We stayed calm and respectful throughout, but the service was rude, disrespectful, and unsanitary. read more

Most unprofessional Subway I have ever been in. Very Dirty, tables messy and not clean and Soda machine looked like it has never been cleaned. Arrived 8/1/23 at appx 11:30 am. Ordered a foot long Club. Was told there was no beef for my club. Requested the chopped beef in the bin. Was told I couldn't have that beef, must have extra ham and turkey. So, I was charged for a club that was technically a ham and turkey sandwich. ( Why can't one beef be substituted for another beef?!?) I got cheaper meats and charged for a more expensive sandwich. In addition, they had No onions! The Taylor Subway was not prepared for the day. Meat bins were empty. ( Don't know if that was intentional since I was charged for a more expensive sandwich that I didn't receive. ) But more than half the veggie bins were empty. Subway, your management must improve! After several years of traveling I can say this subway is comparable to some of the worst in Texas if not the country. Sloppy sandwiches that fall apart before they even make it to your mouth, always out of meatballs or having a issue with stocking the full list of meats the store offers , aswell as undertrained employees I'd say this subway is great if you want to be reminded why they call themselves health food instead of a sandwich shop read more

"Ok well there not to much to say and it ain't good", it truly does depend on who makes the sandwich, I've been there several times and the very first one was absolutely fantastic everything was fresh but it seems like if you wait 4/5 days and go back you don't know what you're going to get from this sandwich making place, I've gotten fantastic to absolutely piss poor, one day it is 100% fresh right out of the oven bread the next time it is sour meat rotten tomatoes nasty lettuce you just never know and I'm done with this one, there truly are better subways around you just gotta spend more time and money to get to them, if you think you want a sub from here all I can tell you is get out your trusty quarter and give it a flip!!! read more

I purchased a sub there this past Thursday and came down with food poisoning over the weekend. Someone needs to investigate this location or hopefully shut it down. The workers there are sleeping on the job, constantly rude, or high on the job. I cannot eat subway again after my last experience. Easily the worst staff I've ever encountered in my adult life. Well tonight makes three times the manager has let the XXXACIA drink run out, no bell peppers, no ice in the ice machine, no steak, and no turkey. Two weeks ago it was no mayonnaise. Yep that's right one of the worlds biggest sandwich chains runs out of mayonnaise. Sunday night August 25 there was a roach in the drink run off counter. I told the staff. The manager is worthless. She is to busy sitting on her !!! And pecking that phone to do her job. But what's even worse you have a owner that has not stepped in to do anything about these reviews. I left feeling this location must have a low rating so I checked when I got in my car and sure enough, 1.5 stars. You can always tell a Subway is not going to be good when the meats and veggies are poorly stocked and don't look fresh. And of course the iced teas were empty. I will never come into this store again. When my husband and I stopped for our lunch break, we were the first customers. The man working said hi. We waited 5 mins or so for him to take our order only to feel like an inconvenience. We ordered Italian herbs and cheese bread to be told all there was wheat or flatbread. He was rude when he had questions and sighed when I told him what I needed on it. I know that people have their days but feeling like I'm bothering someone in a "customer service environment" really upset me. Nothing was prepped and he was making multiple trips to just finish our two sandwiches! I told my husband I felt bad for the others coming in behind us. There was only one person working at 1pm (making sandwiches and ringing up orders). It took 15 min to order my sandwich with only 2 people ahead of me. As I was about to pay, another employee appeared from the back. They were out of tomatoes and the ice machine was out of ice. There was an ice bucket on top of the trash bin that you scooped your ice out of with a cup every other customer had touched. The restaurant looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all today. You would expect subway to be subway but this one is way down hill. I know it's hard to find good staff, not going to go there today. Specifically I ordered the meatball sub. Right before he was going to add the veggies he informed me that the heating well that keeps the meatballs warm wasn't on and he recommended that I get it toasted to heat up the meatballs. That is a huge health code violation! When I asked him hold long those meatballs were sitting at room temperature he said he didn't know, but it was before his shift. I always order online so I have no experience waiting in line but I can say that I order frequently- at least once a week if not more- and my order is always waiting for me when I arrive without exception. The employees are always, ALWAYS pleasant and smiling even in the middle of a lunch rush and my order has always been correct which is more than I can say for any other establishment in town on all counts.
