We arrived in Tillamook. Four hungry adults. Waiting for our rental to be available. Where to eat? Needs to be, not awful. Not, expensive. Most importantly, Open for business. Mc. Donald's. Nope. Sit down inside of Denny's? With two Senior Citizens and a Person with A Compromised Immune System, Also, Nope! Jimmy John's, not in Tillamook County. Uh. Um. How about Subway Drive Thru. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. It was good to see a restaurant doing well. They cordoned off the seating area and turned it into a Clear Path of Direction. All the Employees Taking Proper Precautions during this Pandemic. The customers however, careless. Senior Citizens with their masks not being worn properly. Teenagers with No Mask. Standing close enough to rub shoulders, literally. Are masks required, Yes. Outside and in. There are few restrictions. I'm no Doctor but I'm sure Teenager's should be wearing masks and being respectful to laws in place. That's my two cents. Pandemic Fears aside. My Wife and I went in as we're used to Pandemic Protocol. We ordered four yummy sandwiches. Each different than the other. All but one toasted. We got a couple drinks. Our delicious smelling sandwiches and said, thank you very much. Now where to eat. One of our crew needed a bathroom and Subway shut theirs off to the public for obvious reasons. Now, not where to eat but where to..... #1. We're told Mr. Meyer's is the nearest place. Off to the races. Two people go inside out of necessity. My Mom and I stay behind and we start in on our yummies. My Mom, eating delicately. Me, animal noises, per usual. Gulping down bites of sandwiches and soda. My Cold Cut Combo was made just the way I like. Everybody ate like the hungry people we were. Everyone liked the sandwich they chose. Got here around 9:15am on a Saturday morning and this place was closed with a staff inside saying they are closed until 10pm yet an "open" sign was lit up on the front glass window. Would have been great to get some sandwiches for our train ride. Even the app states open at 9am. read more

I used to really love this establishment and the staff. They were so friendly and always helpful! I used to come in twice a week! Now recently, I've noticed there is less hospitality and attention to cleanliness. Today really topped it off. I showed up an hour before close (I've worked in restaurants, I get it's a pain) but a whole hour??!! There was no reason for use to receive such an attitude from those who helped us. Finally while making my sandwich, the lady making it reached over and put her whole shirt in my sandwich. I didn't want to inconvenience her by remaking it but wow! We just had lunch at this Subway and it was very good. They did not skimp on the portions at all and were very helpful. Our sandwich creator was lovely. They were so busy with online orders. I thought we wouldn't get a good sandwich. However the woman that made my sandwich did a fantastic job. She put just the right amount of goodies on it. I get all the way back home discovered they did not put bacon on the sandwiches at all and when I tried to call them to try to see about getting it rectified there was no answer they didn't even have the courtesy to set up an answering machine for me to leave a message for them. This is a joke no customer service at all and they can't even read simple instructions on a receipt because my receipts show that I had bacon added to all my sandwiches, but they couldn't do it. read more

I went through the drive-through at Subway in Tillamook Oregon, and ordered a monster foot-long sandwich with everything on it but pickles when I got home the only thing it had on it was me. I called them and asked them what happened and they said they were busy and they knew what went wrong, but they figured they fix it later. I have a problem with that their their sandwich is horrible. So this subway has been through a lot over the years. Since it's re-opening it has had the most lackadaisical employees. Their demeanor makes me wonder if they aren't given lashes in back room. They are a struggling 3 star at best... But tonight I was delighted to see a young fresh face. He was cheerful and engaged in conversation with my kids, my wife, and myself. He seemed very comfortable being a sandwich artist. He had said he has only been there for 3 days but he seemed as if he had been there for years. Hopefully his energy rubs off on other employees. The four star is because of this young man. I don't normally rate fast food restaurants, but this needed to be talked about. This subway has struggled to hire happy employees or keep happy employees. We hope this energy is contagious. read more

I tried them again as soon as they had re-opened with "new management" a couple months ago. They had improved the ingredients and even offered Tillamook cheese. Sadly they also charged me $2 to have that Tillamook cheese on my sandwich. I chose to wait to go back as I thought that was a rip-off to the locals to charge them for their own local cheese. I came back last night with my girlfriend and her daughters. Service was not good. It was just a couple of young girls running the shop, and they had the attitude that they were just there for the paycheck. I also noticed that the quality of the ingredients had gone back to the lower quality ones that the previous owner had used. They were also EXTREMELY stingy on the veggies. Want pickles? Expect to get about 5 slices on your food long. Very sad to see. When I asked for cheddar cheese they didn't ask if I wanted subway cheddar or Tillamook cheddar, so I don't know what one they actually gave me. I didn't get charged $2 for my cheese so I can assume it wasn't Tillamook. One girl was working in the back, and she was even worse. We paid for our food and went to get drinks. I helped the girls and they went for the Dr. Pepper....it was out. So they jumped to the Coca Cola.....out as well. So they settled for Sprite. I got them their lids, and reached for the straws......they were out. My girlfriend went to the counter, and she was ignored as they ran customers through. She waited about 5 minutes to tell them that they were out of sodas and straws. The girl looked "put out", and walked away without saying anything. As we waited at our table, we waited for her to come back with straws and to re-stock the soda. She finally came out, after about 10 minutes and handed us some straws and mumbled "sorry". We ate our sandwiches as we waited for the soda to be re-stocked, and after 15 minutes we had finished our meal, and we went to check the soda machine, because we didn't know if the syrups are possibly restocked behind the machine....still no soda. My girlfriend went back to the counter and just asked if she could get some Coke filled from the machine in the back. The girl said "no, because the machine is out" and she took off. About 5 minutes later, she had replaced the syrup and we could finally get our beverage. After being charged extra for local cheese, the lowered quality of ingredients, and the service....It will be hard for me to want to come back. read more

The employees were extremely rude and mean! We are from out of town and we couldn't believe how icky the employees were. There was a lady who had pre ordered and they were late to making her sandwiches by 15 mins and the lead employee was rude and talking poorly about the lady who was simply asking about her order! I can not believe how awful and rude these people were! Also to add, there was a customer infront of us that had an extreme gluten allergy and the employee did change her gloves, but then continued to touch my non gluten free sandwich and continued working on the gluten free sandwich with contaminated gloves. read more

I was there Jan 15th 2021 and around 2:00sh and the employees working there were complete A-holes to this little old lady who didn't understand. She needed to use the restroom saying it was an emergency and they said no. As I walked out with my food she had peed her pants. Our new subway is amazing!! I think the review must be for the last owners. As every place else, they do need more help at busy times but I'm giving it 5 starts still for the employees that are there... they have a great attitude. This should be a zero but there is no option for that rating.. My family ordered sandwiches on the Subway app and had a 30 min. drive to pick up our order. Upon arriving to the Tillamook Subway location we were informed that they did not make the order because they were out of one of the ingredients. We were told to come back tomorrow or call our bank for a refund. We asked can we just change the sandwiches with the missing ingredients and were told "No". So now down $65 dollars and no sandwiches and the kicker is our bank is charging $25 to stop the payment. Making it right for the customer is the policy in most stores but apparently not at Tillamoomk Subway. I went to Safeway in Tillamook and ordered subs and they were great, I suggest just going to Safeway their sandwiches are better and they have the ingredients and no excuses. read more

Pretty average visit as far as Subway is concerned. The younger guy helping was very distracted with the other ladies he was working with. It's okay to have a little fun, but come on... Made it through and then got stuck at the register, I think someone who worked there came through the drive-thru, backwards, so the guy and one of the girls were busy chatting with them. That left one other girl, helping another customer with a larger order and me, just waiting. I probably stood there for a solid 3-4 minutes before I got rung up, fairly annoying. Went in there on a Friday night at about 1130. They close at 12. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch on Italian herb and cheese and she said she couldn't do it because they had to save all of their Italian herb and cheese for a call in the next day. I don't understand why they couldn't just make more the next day. Apparently that tells you their bread isn't that fresh. So I choose to go with a plain bread and ask for it toasted. She said we can't toast sandwiches tonight because we already shut off and cleaned the toaster oven. Seriously!? A business is supposed to have every option available until the moment they close. This is poor business ethic shutting things down early and making crappy sandwiches just because you close in a half hour. So she microwaved my sandwich! Normally, I don't bother writing reviews for chain restaurants, because I normally don't GO to chain restaurants. But for a hungry vegan going through Tillamook, Subway is your only option. I have to say, they don't skimp on the sandwich toppings which is unusual for Subway in general.. They piled on the veggies, and the bread was soft and fresh. They have a skillet and actually grill the veggies they put on your breakfast sandwiches! High-class Subway action going on here. read more

I have to say this Subway was absolutely the best I have ever been to! Just as my significant other and I arrived they got slammed and we waited patiently for our turn to order, all the while admiring the professionalism of Mikaela, Josh and Taylor as they pumped out an array of sandwiches piled high with delicious toppings for the customers before us with speed, diligence and above all politeness. When our turn came our somewhat particular orders were put together promptly and with utmost courtesy. The sandwiches themselves were absolutely delicious and true to the Subway slogan were made with super fresh ingredients. Further more, I was so impressed I went back in to the store and complimented the above servers on an excellent job. I also informed my gifted servers that I intend to write a brief note to Subway head office advising them of my admiration for both the quality of sandwich and the way we were served and to urge some sort of recognition for a job well done because as a former employer in the food industry, as a matter of principal and to encourage continual excellence, I feel it is important to recognize and give credit where credit is due. Now all this might sound like I am an employee of Subway heaping praise on my own product but I assure you that is NOT the case! I can say in all honesty that I enjoyed eating that Subway sandwich as much as I have enjoyed consuming ANY gourmet restaurant meal! Called in an order for a party platter. Girl on phone charged me basically 3 times for one order. Then never called to tell me it was ready after she told me she would. Called back 3 hours later to find out I was charged anyway. No big deal, my fault for not just showing up assuming it would be done. Went next day to pick up same order and the owner came out. Told me he was very sorry and took time to speak with me. Few weeks later he calls me out of the blue, then first thing he says is "Who's this!?!" in a very rude tone. I simply told me you called me, how can I help you? Then yells back "Who's this?! I got a missed call from here." Then I give him my name and he abruptly hangs up. Hmm... If you dialed the wrong number (which is what I'm guessing happened? At least be polite. Don't be rude and yell out commands at someone who didn't even call you to begin with.
