It was like a sandwich I could have made at home; meats vegetables tasted BULK bought if you grasp my point

Not only do they get $20 per hour to throw vegetables together and cut bread, now the girl behind the counter tells me they no longer put the vegetables in a bowl for chopped salad. I have been coming here almost every week for the last two years. Either the owner is getting tight or the girl got lazy. She was standing behind the register looking at papers while the store was empty. This will be the last time I visit ANY Subway. You have lost this customer and I hope this honest post resonates with you, the customer that helps pay their wages. read more

COVID-19 phase Nice workers and the food looked fresh and delicious! The workers were masked too. There is no eating allowed there given Covid-19. The place was very clean. The worker was very nice. I ordered a rotisserie chicken pesto wrap w/ pepper jack cheese, avocado, all veggies and extra jalapenos. It was put together and looked really good. I checked out and the worker wished me a good day. Appreciated! The wrap was really delicious! The chicken cooked perfectly and it had fresh veggies. Of course the jalapenos and pepper jack added a fantastic spicy kick and made it even better! Great service and delicious wrap! Highly recommended! read more

They prepare a fantastic chopped salad with the meat of my choice. I have been to other Subways and they don't chop the salad. This location does. Clean and well maintained. Only niggle would be the parking downtown. I recommend this place. read more

So I happened to work down the street from this shop and I was hungry for something quick. $5 footlong sounded like the ticket! Walked in and only a couple sitting in the window as it was way past the traditional lunch hour. I pretty much get the same thing whenever I go to any subway. Footlong black forrest ham on one of the special breads they offer. For $5, can't beat it. Anyway, pretty easy process of ordering and getting my sandwich. I always wonder though....why the sandwich I get doesn't look like the one in the pictures....? Eat Fresh! :-) read more

Came here since it's proximity to the hospital and very happy I went. Andrew I believe was the only associate there and while this review is a bit late like months late wanted to make sure I sent this in because while it was very quiet in the store Andrew was very nice and took care of my order no issues and was very pleasant. I have went in there a few times and I hate the service. There is an older lady who refuses to take coupons for certain sandwiches. The times I have been there the employees are always complaining about how cheap their bosses are, that they don't get discounts and are under payed and constantly watched. There is always a negative vibe when Im in there. I will stop going there anymore and will not be spending money on a business that is so cheap in general and as well to their employees. Downtown Visalia Subway. I ordered online and chose curbside pickup. I specifically chose this as they had curbside pickup and I was in a hurry and you can never find parking. I received the instructions for curbside and drive at the appointed time but no spot. I tapped the "I'm here" assuming they would bring it out. I continued to circle several times before someone called me and said for their "curbside" pickup you have to come in. I explained that is NOT curbside pick up and I couldn't find anywhere to park. She kept saying how their curbside pickup was different but after asking someone admitted they didn't have curbside pick up at all. Very frustrating. Once I was finally able to find parking and get food it was about a 15 minute process. The food was fine. But I loath when places promise something they don't have. The Indian lady in the morning is gross, I asked for a turkey sandwich on white bread and she started making a tuna. Then she asked what toppings I wanted? I told her I wanted a turkey sandwich not tuna. She then started to scrap off the tuna and put the turkey slices on the same bread?? I told her I wanted a new slice of bread, she made a face at me and took the bread with tuna on it back to the oven???? Much like every other Subways except this one is located in the Visalia downtown area. The sandwich's we ordered were good and the drink selection was marginal. Napkins were hard to come by as I had to wait at the counter and ask for them. Overall our experience was good and the atmosphere was exceptional. I rarely visit this location since downtown Visalia is known for it's terrible parking. I decided to stop by for an early lunch since I was working in the area. First of all, the restroom was out of order. I had to walk to the nearby Starbucks in order to use a restroom which was an inconvenience. Secondly, I ordered a 6 inch sub of the day and a signature wrap. Somehow I was overcharged by nearly $5. I was wary when she charged me but I just handed over my card since I was in a hurry. My husband and I weren't given a receipt either. We paid about $17 for these two items without chips or drinks. Upon further research on the subway website, we were supposed to be charged $12.93 after tax. The sandwiches were sloppily made and the vegetables seemed as though they were not fresh. I will not be returning to this location. Poor service and low quality. read more

I've eaten here quite a few times for convenience and the staff has always been incredibly rude. Just recently me and my boyfriend tried to eat there for dinner. They close at 9pm but the doors were locked five minutes prior, though all the lights were on. And when we pulled on the door to try and go inside, the employee inside stopped cleaning to glare at us until we left. I understand that working in food is hard, but there's plenty of other Subways in town, and the sandwiches at this one are no better. I'd rather go to one that stays open until the correct time, and has polite staff. read more

Awful :-/. Visited this shop today to get sandwich, I was at a event down the street. The place was messy, tables I wiped, several of the soft drinks were out, and no ice tea. Upon ordering the girl getting my sandwich could only put the meat and cheese on sandwich, she toasted it, then let it sit on prep board while she went and got other orders. The other girl was going between putting on toppings and running cash register. Needless to say, my sandwich was cold and hard before it was completed. She only put 3-4 onions on it after I asked for more! ( really, how cheap are onions?). My sandwich was nasty and the girl making sandwich argued with me about the onion sauce for the sweet onion chicken sandwich, at first she told me they didn't have any onion sauce, then it magically appeared. So my wife went to this location the yesterday afternoon and woke up at 3 o'clock this morning having irritable tummy cramps and violently throwing up everywhere. Called the store owner or the manager don't know which one, but was not very helpful all. Easy two block walk from the Marriott and downtown Convention Center. Place was modern and clean. Lunch service was prompt and there is bar-type upright seating. I ate here two days in a row and would return again next trip into town. read more

I've eaten here a number of times , this particular time was pretty memorable. As I was in line ordering my turkey italiano sanwhich I got a tickle in my throat and started coughing. I don't know the employees name, but she asked if I was OK and offered me a cup for water. As I was picking my toppings I continued to cough. She then proceeds to go and get me a cup of water and brings it to me, I was totally blown away by this!! This is great customer service, she went above and beyond to see that my needs were meet!! Again I wish I new her name, I was in there yesterday at around 1pm. I just wanted to say thank you and that I look forward to my next visit!!!! read more

The other day my significant other and i were strolling down main street trying to decide what was suitable to be consumed into our bodies . Since we have a deep, everlasting love for vegetables we ran straight into Subway. What was supposed to be a land of delicious wonders turned out to be the most torturous part of my day. The order was simple, extra onions on one side, extra olives on the other. Two lines Mayo, one Mustard. What could go wrong? Everything! I cringed as I watched him cover the whole thing in onions. To say the whole thing is an insult to sandwich artists everywhere. I had a sandwich all right. A sandwich with no vegetables on the last two inches of each half of the foot long. We were ravaged with hunger so this new artists lack of creativity would be forgiven for he was new at his artistry. It wasn't enough for him. He wanted more! He defiled my half of the sandwich in an excruciating manner, heaping onions on both sides! I begged him to stop! to move the onions! Once the onions were where they belonged, he slops the olives on the same side! Olives of all things! This sandwich was tainted, but it got worse for our pitiful sandwich, he drowned our baby with six rows of mayo and four or mustard. Four! I begged for mercy but before i could save it from a beating, pepper was slayed all across our wounded soldier! This wounded soldier survived a drowning as a baby! I was impatient and ravaged with hunger so I asked him to stop! Pack it up so we could swallow our sorrowful sandwich in peace, give it the mourning it deserved! Just when we thought things couldn't get worse, we thought too soon... We were only trying to save it! We had no idea what kind of sick monster we were dealing with! He spilled its guts! Slaughtered them! All of them!!! They were everywhere! All of the delicate vegetables slayed out of the toasted bread onto the paper. Then satisfied with his works, he wrapped the vegetables in their own paper without the bread, how will they know what to do on their own? He might as well separated mother and child! There we wait... waiting to get rung up... Alone. just us and that poor departed sandwich, since he left us there with time for all kinds of thoughts to go through our heads before allowing us to pay, my spouse realized her money could be better invested, and walked out the door.
