My review is based on 6 visits - and only 1 sub was good. I got a ham and cheese footling with 5 slices of ham & 5 half slices of cheese- a ton of lettuce and mayo that I was eating drippy lettuce on a big bun. The steak and cheese was not edible and 1 out of the Spicy Italian had enough meat- they are using the amount of meat for a 6 inch on a 12" sub. Spreading out 4 slices of salami/ 4 slices of pepperoni and 4 half pieces of cheese on a footling witn a ton of lettuce is a total rip off for $12.99. They used to have the meat slices pre measured with wax paper- and I went to Cleveland Park location and the same girl that made an awful sub was working there as well. I am done with subway. I have attached the Amount of meat that should be on each sub- lucky I asked for ham as well so I got 4 slices of that on the 12"- plus 4 slices of salami and 4 slices of pepperoni and 4 half slices of cheese.

I had come to this Subway near my house to see about having 2 platters made for my Baby Shower. I love Subway and I've NEVER had anything bad from them. Whether it be customer service or a fresh sandwich made. This is my first baby, and my first baby shower I've EVER had, SO EVERYTHING had to be FRESH, ON TIME and WELL made! I walked in, told them I was interested in their platters. The staff was extremely friendly and engaging. They listened to my request and even helped me figure out what would work well. I finally chose 2 platters, "The Craver Platter" (I'm a meat eater, and so are MOST people) & "The Veggie Platter" (For those who just want greens). I came on Thursday to order "The Craver Platter" just to try it in advance. It was A..M...A...Z...I..N..G!!!! Super fresh, tasty and simple but delicious. Pre-paid on Friday and Picked it up on Sunday@ 11:50 am. OVERALL.....IT WAS PERFECT! Alot of guests ate the sandwiches (especially the "Craver Platter"). In fact that platter was DONE by the end of the day. There was nothing left. Lol. The "Veggie Platter" was good too but not as popular as the "Craver Platter". But still worked well, Because I filled it with some deli meats and my friend and I finished the "veggie platter" too in the end. So....My OPINION.... 10 STARS! would most definitely order from them again and recommend others to try them. Fast, easy, simple and yet super fresh. Even got a bowl of free freshly backed cookies. (There was nothing left of those)Thanks Subway!

Great staff here today. Super welcoming and excellent service. I know hard work when I see it, they deserve a buck extra an hour.

Just finished a late lunch here with my kiddo on a Sunday afternoon. Not terribly busy, plenty of…read moreopen tables at arrival. Server came by, not so much as a greeting or introduction, just a short, "do you know what you want?" Fine - no problem. We ordered two avocado toasts and side of fries to share. Now, the menu clearly says the avocado toasts are served with a "runny egg". Ok sure, no problem. What i did not anticipate was a half raw egg with the yolk swimming in a sea of translucent completely uncooked "whites". It was like a golden disc encased in a snot rocket. Ok, maybe that's their "runny". Slide it off the toast and press on - snail trail of mucus be damned. The avocado spread was great - bright, citrusy, and well seasoned. The "hot sauce" was likely from a bottle and could have been left off. The radishes would have benefitted from being tossed in lemon, salt and pepper. The image of the "runny" egg was too much so I ate half the toast serving and meandered to the fries. Not bad, crispy , hot, and...wait...sweet...something is off, I can't put my finger on it but at least it's not a raw egg. I keep eating. My kids looks at me and says, "do these remind you of funnel cake?" THAT'S IT - FUNNEL CAKE. We have both had enough, ask for the check. The server comes by gives me the clunky machine, I tap and put it down, he reaches for it and I say, it's processing, I still have to sign...and then he starts snapping his fingers...WHAT IN THE ACTUAL €¥($ ARE WE DOING RIGHT NOW?!? Never again. Never, again.

The service when we went left a lot to be desired. It was busy for sure being a weekend but not overwhelming. There were empty tables inside. Even still, it took forever to get acknowledged at times just to take our order. If we hadn't asked someone walking by for the bill, we still may be there. We had an app of fries and then my main was the burger with fries. The fries were great. They are those style of pub fries that are crispy and delicious. The garlic aioli dip was a great pairing for them. The burger was fine. It wasn't anything out of this world but it was still good. All the toppings blended well with the burger. I felt it could have used some more flavor. Duke's is in an unbeatable spot being right across from the entrance to the zoo. If you are looking for a bite right there, it's a good option.

Came for lunch by a friend's recommendation…read more The interior is small and seating limited, but you're greeted once you walk in and the workers are friendly. The menu is largely build-your-own. I ordered a chicken shawarma bowl with the fixings. I thought the price was pretty fair. The bowl was filling and yummy with the diverse flavors from the toppings. If I'm craving shawarma in Georgetown, I'd stop by again.

We were looking for a place to eat for a quick late night bite in Georgetown and I found Muncheez…read moreon Yelp. We walked in and they have ordering kiosks at the front to punch in your order. There's also a register around the counter, if you want to order in-person. The space was tight, but this is Georgetown and the restaurant is in a rowhouse (Note: you do have to climb a few stairs to get in). They have a self-serve water station and a designated crepe station for their workers in a nook by the front. There's narrow counter seating and some extra seating in the back of the restaurant. I'm always on the hunt for some good falafel, so I ordered the Falafel Sandwich ($10.50). They call it a sandwich but it's more of a wrap. It wasn't busy when we arrived after 10pm on a weeknight. Food was made in less than 10 minutes, but service was a bit taciturn. We ordered two sandwiches: the falafel ($10.50) and beef shawarma ($12.75). I do wish they labeled the items so that we could have easily identified whose was whose. A sticker, a marking, or any kind of indication would've been helpful so that we weren't stuck playing wrap roulette. The falafel was made to order (four pieces). The sandwiches were served nice and hot. I enjoyed the falafel, but the whole sandwich ate dry. You definitely need to get some sauce to top it off with. This was my first time trying Muncheez, so I didn't order any sauces because I didn't know any better. I didn't try the beef shawarma, but just unwrapping it, it was super, off-puttingly greasy. I'll admit that I've been spoiled by Falafel Inc.'s cheap and delicious sandwiches, sauces included. While Muncheez's sandwich is bigger, sturdier, and heartier than Falafel Inc.'s pita sandwich, it is also 2.5x more expensive, and I wouldn't go as far to say 2.5x better. While the menu selection at Muncheez's is more extensive and the late night hours make it convenient to grab a quick bite, Muncheez didn't fully dazzle.
