I get this banh mi sub at both the Lebanon to-go shop and this White River Junction locations. I am not sure what the differences are between Cambodian and Vietnamese fare. In Phnom Penh, Cambodia, it seemed the foods I ate were more pure and clean than the Americanized Vietnamese dishes I grew up with. The Phnom Penh restaurant and to-go shops serve food which tastes similar to Vietnamese to me. I really like the dishes I've tasted so far, including the fried rice. I did not yet try the pho, here, but it looks great. The sandwich shop is better to sit down in and relax in and enjoy your food. Also, their Khmer iced coffee is yum.

Before the man made my sandwich, he swept lettuce from the counter back into the lettuce bin. No issue with that except he had just handled money and then food. When I asked for fresh lettuce, he was agreeable and also changed his gloves. Thankfully. However, when the new bin of lettuce was placed, it was obvious the end of the old bin of tired and brown lettuce was dumped on the fresh bin's top. It was revolting and we nearly left. Instead, we asked if the top lettuce could be removed because it was clearly from the other bin. He picked around it and used fresh lettuce. He removed a few offending bits but did not remove the majority of the offending lettuce. When he rung us up, I commented again and he acknowledged me but didn't do anything about the lettuce. There was another manager, a woman, and I brought this to her attention. She thanked me and said she'd take care of it; as she walked past the entire food prep area. It should be noted, no one was waiting. We still got the sandwiches because we were hungry and put that above the possible inclusion of gross lettuce. I'm writing because I'm not convinced anything will be done. I've been in this Jersey Mike's before and have seen icky lettuce more than once. The staff has always been friendly, efficient, and enthusiastic. Is it a shame more attention isn't paid to the sandwich ingredients. I think we're done here.

The store did not disappoint -- it's a baker's paradise in every sense. Every possible ingredient, tool, pan, piece of equipment, and baking mix you could imagine is here, beautifully displayed and easy to browse. The space is bright, immaculate, and extremely well organized, with helpful staff ready to answer questions or point you toward something new. There's also a demonstration kitchen and a café, which adds even more to the experience. While their website is fantastic (and what we've relied on for years), the in‑person store is absolutely worth the trip. Whether you're an avid baker or looking for the perfect gift for someone who is, this is a destination worth driving for. We're so glad we finally made it -- and we'll be talking about this stop for a long time.

The lattes were pretty standard and the pastries were a bit disappointing. The flavor profile of the focaccia was odd - corn, tomato, and spicy mayo. The croissant was extremely flavored but lacked a butter flavor. The service was quick and plenty of seating. Many small tables would be preferred to the long almost banquet table options.

Honestly, I was hoping to have a soup of some type but there was none available on the menu so I opted for the chicken salad Sandwich (didn't seem a very Turkish fare), but it was good...although the Sandwich needed more chicken salad to offset the thick Texas toast; there really was very little on the Sandwich. My husband had their PLT, a sandwich that had more substance to it (there was more bacon on it than there was chicken on my sandwich)...but again, both sandwiches tasted good. To drink we tried a couple of their cocktails and while tasty and unique they were very speedy, $16 is far too much to charge for them...the price definitely prevented me from having another, and when we go back to have dinner...we probably will skip drinks (not worth $32 for two people.) Don't get me wrong, we aren't cheap people, we just want a good value...the drinks aren't that. Our server was great! He was friendly, helpful, and there when we needed him. Couldn't have asked for more from him. We did also have a hot appetizer. I forget the name of it now, it was $9 for 2, deep fried rolls (like egg rolls of a sort but with Philly dough and filled differently), these were very good...I could have eaten several, I wish I remembered what they were, but they are last on the list of hot appetizers so you can find them.

Their pasta dishes - comedically and nostalgically called "Suppa Time" - are served with homemade bread. In these current days, any bread served for free actually matters. But this bread is homemade. 2.) Their salads also come with homemade bread. 3.) All burgers, sandwiches, subs and wraps are served with chips. You can also upgrade to other sides. 4.) You can get not one but two sizes of calzones. 5.) You can also get two sizes of apps and sides: small and large sizes of wings, french fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings and homemade bread. You can choose from 9 types of salads here and 24 pizzas, not including the make-your-own pizzas. I'd love to try most all of the combinations as they look high quality and tasty. As for the calzones and strombolis, I always thought they were the same. Apparently, calzones are circular and crimped like empanadas. Strombolis are rectangular. Both are filled with toppings and cheese. Another thing I was never aware of: Buffalo mozzarella is actually made from Buffalo milk and that is the type of mozzarella they use in their pizzas here. As a foodie, I really always thought Buffalo mozzarella was named as such because it was a big ball of cheese. But it is actually Buffalo milk which they say makes the pizza more creamy. I did not notice a difference but did enjoy my slices. Cantore's Pizza has been under new ownership since Jan 2024. I enjoyed the pizza and good selection of beers and drafts. The slices combo I ate was good. I loved that it was a family atmosphere and people were friendly and festive. I love that you can sit up at the tiny bar and have a draft but shorter patrons, take note: these bar stools are tall.

Leona recommended the Brussels and they did not disappoint with a perfect combo of roasted small Brussel sprouts with crispy prosciutto, goat cheese mousse and pickled red onions. What a great combo!! We also split the spinach salad which was perfect for winter with dried cherries, blue cheese, candied pecans and apples. We also had the artichoke fritters which had a subtle taste of artichoke and bits of tangy lemon. We split the ginger pork meatloaf and it was a creative, delicious take on traditional meatloaf. The flavor was reminiscent of the inside of a superb Peking dumpling. The dining room was decorated with beautiful area photos and there was beautiful display of custom designed knives that could be seen in a show case on the way to the restrooms. I took a photo because it may come in handy for a future gift for some aspiring chefs in my family! Excited to add Thyme to our list of stops in between our travels to and from MA to VT.
