He arrived on the dot. The last time my great grandmother's 1879 upright which weighs at least 800 lbs, was moved, it took 3 guys. I felt bad when I saw it was just him like maybe I should have provided more information on what kind of upright we were dealing with, but he made it look easy and handled the piano with great care. I wanted to watch the whole operation but didn't want to make him nervous haha. Then, after the move was completed, he played it a bit and revealed that it had been muted, for who knows how long, and showed me where the mute slide was. I then got to hear its full voice for maybe the first time ever. Amazing. Sadly our new home flooded the following week and we had to move the piano a little for the mitigation and will probably need to move it around some more for renovations but at least we know who to call if we need help. Our move is a short distance drive (only 10 minutes drive between two homes) with a few stairs in both places. They finished the whole job in less than an hour. But that already included them pivoting the piano several times as an attempt to go through a very narrow patio with two doors, the team finally decided to take one of the door down, and lift the piano up straight so that the piano could go through. It took them about 15 minutes to move my piano from the truck to our new home - and that included the team cleaning/wiping off the dusts off from the back of the piano. My piano isn't a high-end model. Rather it's an old piano (30~ years) that my mom bought for me when I was a child and now my kid uses it to practice. I still play on that piano too. The team wrapped it well and took care of the move perfectly! I don't move my piano often - like once every 10-12 years. But if you are looking for piano movers at this time, I highly recommend them!!!!!

Most reviewers even said they were very punctual and on-time. Well ... not so much for us. The first time they were supposed to pick it up we waited for them to arrive, only to find out the truck broke down on the highway and they eventually canceled. OK, that is fine. Not under their control really (mostly ). Second attempt they had a time slot of 9-11 to pick up the piano. We had the house ready, cars moved, and waited. At the last minute they canceled. They said it was because we indicated we had to be out of the house in the afternoon. That wasn't a hard deadline as we just wanted to get stuff done in the afternoon, and we could have slipped a bit. Also, that was an hour after the initial pickup window. So the second time we were left staring at our sold piano that cannot be moved by this company. I expected some extra effort on their part for this move since they dropped the ball the first time, but no. I have no idea if these are the best piano moves on the planet. Their motto is "WE-FEAR-NO-PIANO", and I guess since they never got to see our piano in person, they can still claim that. Our move would have been super simple as it was on ground level, lots of street access, and two possible exit points. In any case, good luck with your scheduling these movers. We gave up and hired the competition.

I used Jacobsen Transfer to move my Knabe 6'4" mahogany grand piano out of my house to a piano…read morere-builder. They had to bring it down an outside double stairway, one stairway very narrow and steep. I have moved this piano three times before, both in New York City and then across the country. I last brought it into my house thirty years ago, and I know the weight and difficulty first hand as the original movers back then showed up with only two men. I had to assemble some neighbors to assist and bring it up the same stairs into the house. There were five of us, all untrained, yet we somehow made it. This time, Jacobsen correctly had the five men as needed, as well as the proper tools and clearly the experience to ensure the safe descent. It was like watching a well choreographed team as they worked together with singular guidance to bring it down to street level without a hitch. If I ever bring in another piano, I know who I'll call on again. Also note that we had to reschedule the job a few times due to wet weather, but they would not risk the move unless they could ensure a safe environment as well as having enough men for the job. While some lighter pianos could be moved with fewer hands, they well knew the size and weight of my piano required five and wouldn't attempt without, nor would they add any risk that might be caused by inclement weather; exactly the right protocols. Hats off to a great company and the team, and much thanks to all.

The price seemed fair enough and the picture seemed to match the description, however, the amp I received was a far cry from either. It arrived in an unsalvageable old furniture box, poorly packed, and absolutely beat to death. The model JC 120 that was delivered was not the same amplifier as the one advertised. It was hardly functional, the cabinet was cracked and tattered, channels popping and fizzing and knobs mostly not functioning. On top of that, it was filthy. Anyone who has ever played through a JC 120 knows that these are heavy amps that require casters to move them in any reasonable fashion. While pictured with the clean amp in the listing (the one that I did not receive), the tattered and battered model that was delivered to me did not have them. So here I am, essentially stuck with a useless burned out shell of a JC 120 that's basically immovable by one person without a hand truck. See pictures below. Guitar Wars knowingly scammed me out of $800+, don't let it happen to you. Please keep in mind, this did not happen in shipping. This was very much orchestrated intentionally. The amp was listed in "Good" condition. Please find a few images of the actual listing they posted below the images of the box. **please see Google reviews for pictures mentioned above**

Paid $900 to move a 1 bedroom apartment and still no response. The rep stated "Our movers said you remove the shrink wrap of a TV stand and 2 pieces shelves fall down which damaged the floor. That is what I heard about it" that is a lie which I do not appreciate lying within a business. I have asked multiple times for call backs from a proper manager and have not received one. Unfortunately I would not recommend this business due to lack of honesty and professionalism within the company.

Odie & Adidas were really professional and their attitude was perfect. Moving sucks and they made it so much easier. Always asking what they could do and what was next. Very respectful. We had unfinished boxes and they packed them for us and taped up. Didn't even ask. I have a broken collarbone and they made sure I did very little. As far as the furniture handling I was really impressed. We had a couple not so sturdy pieces and they arrived in perfect condition. Nothing broken or even slightly damaged. Everything was clean too. They wrapped it all up with plastic. Like really can't say enough. Call em up. Also best price around and beyond worth it.

The team scheduled for me was delayed from a previous job so another team had to be sent out. They didn't arrive until 6pm! Traffic delayed this team. But thank goodness they came the same day. They got me moved in within 4 hours. It was a LONG day and they were efficient. Two guys moved me from a two bedroom within 4 hours. It was a one story to a three story townhouse. Thank you!

Especially with gym equipment, a backyard trampoline, garage items like a freezer and sauna, plus a washer and dryer--but Alexis, Peter, and Ciro handled everything flawlessly. They wrapped and protected all of my furniture with so much care, disassembled and reassembled everything, and even took down mounted TVs without any issues. They also used floor protectors and mats the entire time, which I really appreciated in both homes. Not only were they efficient and careful, but they also made the whole experience enjoyable. By the end of the move, they were cracking jokes and keeping the energy positive, which honestly made a stressful day so much better. They even let us borrow their drill while we were putting things together in the new house, which I thought was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Overall, 10/10 service. They arrived right on time and were incredibly efficient. What impressed me most was that they were able to assemble a fairly complex storage bed without any instructions. They also took care of all the wooden shipping frames and foam packaging, and even helped us get rid of a bunch of unwanted items from our backyard, including a few old furniture pieces and cardboard boxes. The pricing was very fair, especially considering how much work they handled. Overall, the service was professional, efficient, and well worth the cost. I would definitely recommend them and will be reaching out to them again for any future moving or hauling needs.

Guys showed up at my door slightly passed 7, the move was smooth and professional, they brought carpet and wraps, communication was very pleasant, hearing I was taking pictures to post online one of them rushed back to the truck to put on the company shirt, it was actually very cute. They gave me a discount for having not much stuff, definitely within my expectation. Overall experience was probably the best I have ever got so it's worth a post.

FANTASTIC service! I needed to clear my basement and move…read moreeverything into a POD storage container ahead of a renovation starting in a few days. I realized the day before the POD was to be delivered that I in fact did Not want to load to container myself - enter Yelp Request-A-Quote. Because of this last minute decision, best decision ever, I needed a quick turnaround. After several estimates, Buzzy was the best and could accommodate my start date in two days. The movers were running behind but kept me continually updated on their arrival time, which changed a few times but the updates made this less of an annoyance (and I wasn't necessarily in a rush). I wish I got the two movers' names, they were Superb! There was a bit of a language barrier but google translate got us through. They finished my move/transfer in less than an hour and a half and did such a great job packing the POD I was able to get more things in than I had anticipated (less to deal with, extra bonus)-AMAZING! They wrapped, taped, tightened, squeezed and stacked everything wonderfully. They were efficient and careful. They unhooked my washer (the dryer was stuck they couldn't' get it out), wrapped and loaded that as well. HIGHLY recommend! I will be calling them when it is time to unload my POD (or any other time I need movers)!

My wife and I recently married and have worked to combined homes. We used CEO Moving to move our 60…read moreyears of combined treasured items from a 3 BR, 2 Ba home and a small storage place into a slighlty larger home. We were very careful to explain the amount of stuff we had and explained the level of help we would need in order to pack all of our crystal, china and other precious heirlooms. We were prepared to spend a long day with a big crew to accomplish our move. We were happy with the estimated cost of under $3K. We understood that there might be extra charges if it took more time or if more packing materials were used. The final cost to us was a lot more than the estimate (nearly $5K instead of the estimated ~$3k). But the movers performed their work professionally and carefully and handled our precious heirlooms with the care we had hoped for - by far the best care we have ever had from a moving company. We understand how tricky estimating can be and we've moved many times in the last two years and were initially shocked and unhappy that the final bill was so much higher than the estimate. When we expressed our shock and displeasure at the difference between the final cost and the estimate, the GM, Alex, contacted me directly and was so very kind and understanding in wanting to make things right and make sure we were happy with our experience. We worked out a deal that we were ultimately happy with - including having Alex talk with the estimator and the crew about providing clear communication around the potential cost overruns. We were very happy with the service we received. And we were happy to pay the higher price for the top-notch service we got. We were just unhappy initially at the sticker shock. Had we been more aware of the potential cost overruns we would have gladly figured out a way to absorb those costs. Alex promised to provide feedback to his teams so that they understand the importance of good communication. I'm confident that future customers won't have the same sticker shock as a result of Alex's feedback. I would use his team again for any of our future moves!

So I knew no matter how long the move took and with the long distances, I already knew how much the max cost would be up front with no surprises. And they also offer a discount based on the way you paid them. WINNING! And so, I didn't use Pure Moving just once, but three times this month. The first time, I had to move from Union City to a storage facility in Elk Grove and this past weekend we had two teams going, one from San Jose to Elk Grove and the other from the storage facility to our new home. Pure Moving was perfect in all ways possible. They were professional, prompt, efficient, and super friendly. They handled and wrapped items with care and made you feel at ease that everything was going to be safe and secure. They disassembled furniture as needed and reassembled it on site. One great detail, they laid down plastic protectors everywhere to keep things clean and tidy where they would be stepping. And cleaned up all the plastic wrap/coverings, cardboard and tape they used while packing and unpacking. They literally took care of all the heavy - and even the light - lifting! I just want to say thank you to Paul, Nick, Toha, Dan and Symon for taking care of our move and my Family. Moving is already stressful but they made it Pure-ly AWESOME!
