Needed a coffee break. Have been following where this place goes. Love all the succulents around you while you sip your coffee! Got the lavender mocha and it was so good! If you need a coffee break, come check out this place!!!

Oceanside has so many great coffee shops and this is one of them! It's such a unique gem of a coffee shop! I'm obsessed with succulents and this coffee shop is full of them! Service was amazing and the coffee was just as great! My husband ordered a pumpkin spiced dirty chai latte, my kids ordered lavender lemonades and I ordered a dirty chai latte...so delicious!!! I'll be back soon and this will be on my stops for enjoying some delicious coffee!

I brought my friend, a certified plant lady visiting from out of town, to Succulent Cafe after spotting it on Yelp--and wow, it did not disappoint! I'd been to the cocktail bar Frankie's out front before, but this was my first time exploring the cafe behind it. The vibes here are incredible! Plants everywhere, gorgeous photo ops around every corner, and yes, you can even buy some of these beauties to take home! We ordered coffees, and our barista was super friendly and welcoming. My friend got a hot lavender latte (half sweetened) while I went for the iced salted caramel latte. Both were perfection! We were honestly in love with everything: the coffee, the ambiance, the plants, and the good vibes. If you're in Oceanside and love plants or just want a unique, chill spot to grab a coffee, Succulent Cafe is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

A Welcome respite from the Thursday night Sunset Market. Drinks are nice and would recommend the place when you want to sit down and take a break from all the walking. A little hidden but worth finding especially for the cool breeze and shade

I came to the Succulent Coffee and enjoyed this small & mostly hidden gem of a café and found it to be unique in its theme and very appropriate for those who want to enjoy their caffeine within a quaint & mostly quiet location. The Succulent Coffee is located in Downtown Oceanside, and can be entered either from The Brick Hotel, Stone Brewery or from a side entrance doorway that leads to Tremont St. It's precise location is BEHIND Frankie's Bar and in the space between Stone Brewery. It's rather quaint really. This spot is a gem for those who love greenery and succulent plants. The interior decor and walls is based on this theme and there are many for sale too. It also has an open-roof concept that allows for ample sun lighting. The interior is also elongated and narrow , with a small nook n cranny alley that focuses on more succulents. It's a very unique concept. The menu is very simple and straightforward. There's table seating with simple chairs. I would not consider this an "internet café", but more like a place to enjoy caffeine with greens There's only 1 worker and that's the owner. He is friendly when you get to know him and although the brand is a chain, this café definitely gives off "small owner" vibes. *Update: As I've just learned from the owner, I was corrected and happy to announce that this is NOT a chain and is, indeed, a small family business * Overall, I enjoyed my chai tea and this is nice spot for a caffeine pitstop.

This places is ACTUALLY a hidden gem. We walked by it hundreds of times before and never saw it. WOW! I won't walk by it anymore that's for sure. Pete made us a great coffee and our lion loved the vibe! The plants and sitting area is pretty awesome.

    It's kinda hidden.

A peaceful little outdoor corridor shop with seating, heat lamps, & free wifi. Only cash & Zelle accepted for now; I prefer the ol' dirty green. It sounds like they've only been open at this location for a few weeks, waiting on other payment processing & probably food options. There was no drip coffee, so I went with an Americano. The server/owner was very friendly. The location is relaxing & peaceful. Plenty of street parking.

This place caught me by surprise! It is in between 2 buildings, such a cool innovative idea. They really transformed the space into a peaceful oasis. Peter helped us out and was super kind. The coffee tasted good! I got the lavender latte! You can by any of the succulents, so you know we had to get one! Peter told us about the succulent we picked! I can't wait to make this place one of my regular stops!

Both the coffee and the service was fantastic! Definitely worth visiting. Chai latte and Dirty chai both were excellent.

When I'm craving a delicious breakfast made with high-quality, organic, whole-food ingredients, I can order online, swing by, and pick it up without dealing with the rush. It's the perfect option for busy mornings. That said, dining in is worth it too. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and just a great place to slow down and enjoy your meal. They also have a charming little gift shop with flowers and thoughtfully curated items that make the space feel even more special. With both indoor and outdoor seating, plus a dog-friendly patio, it's an easy place to meet friends or enjoy a quiet morning. Parking can be a little hit or miss, but in my experience, it usually hits. Whether you're grabbing breakfast to go or staying to soak up the vibes, Communal Coffee is always a solid choice. Fresh ingredients, beautiful space, and consistently great food make it an easy five stars.

It's a great spot to meet up with friends or bring my mom when she arrives at the Oside train station from Grover Beach. It's a wonderful place to grab a flavored latte, seasonal drink, a glass of wine and a lunch bite, or all of the above! I also look forward to wandering through their gift area every time, where they stock unique jewelry, candles, fragrance rollerballs and 'clean' nail polish, plants and pots, kids' merchandise, t-shirts, and other cute stuff. I always buy something extra (and special) when I come. Their coffee bar is open, as is the general space, and there is plenty of seating outside in front and in back. You can watch the baristas make your drink and peep the beautiful Italian espresso machine and lovely bouquet of dried flowers by the bar while doing so. They bring their food out to you and when your espresso drink is ready they set it on the bar for you to pick up. Definitely a place to hang vs. grabbing a quick drink and rushing off about your day. I always want to stay and catch up with friends or bring my laptop to do some work, and they never make me feel rushed. Truly one of my favorite coffee shops in North County and in SD in general. (There is another high quality coffee shop in Oceanside that has incredible coffee and pastries--I won't mention the name--but I sometimes sense an attitude from the staff there, and that is a bit of a turnoff.) Go to Communal...you will not regret it!

However, my friends from North County highly recommended this establishment and kindly invited me to join them. The outdoor seating is spacious and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere. As I mentioned earlier, I'm not usually a fan of matcha, and I often end up regretting it and discarding it. But this time, I was pleasantly surprised. This place has such a loyal following that people will happily walk a few blocks just to get their Revo fix. One of my favorite things is their seasonal menu. I've learned to fully embrace each special while it's here because once it's gone, it's gone. Right now, I'm completely obsessed with the Coconut Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. I'm pretty sure the baristas recognize me as "the Sticky Rice Matcha lady" at this point! I'm soaking up every sip while it's in season, and although I'll be sad when it's gone, I know they'll surprise me with something amazing next season. Their food is just as impressive. The toast is delicious, they use Prager Brothers bread, organic avocado, and fresh tomatoes, and you can really taste the difference that quality ingredients make. It's refreshing to find a café that clearly cares about food integrity. Another huge bonus for me is that they offer almond milk. So many coffee shops default to oat milk, but I appreciate having another option that fits my preferences. The only downside is the parking. My strategy is simple: go early if you can. Once it gets busy, finding a spot can be an adventure. But even with that minor inconvenience, Revolution Roasters is absolutely worth the trip. Incredible coffee, thoughtful seasonal drinks, quality ingredients, and a team that clearly cares about what they serve. Easy five stars.
