Very cute secluded coffee shop but I was disappointed of not being able to get my coffee as when I arrived (11:30) the person attending told me he closed. I told him the schedule on Yelp showed until noon and he said yes but decided to close early. I was the only customer, maybe Mondays are slow? Still in my opinion hours should be respected because you never know when someone will pop up. I liked the place a lot, is like a mini sanctuary of succulents and the old bricks make you feel in New York meets Napoli scene. Nice place to take photos too! Oceanside has so many great coffee shops and this is one of them! It's such a unique gem of a coffee shop! I'm obsessed with succulents and this coffee shop is full of them! Service was amazing and the coffee was just as great! My husband ordered a pumpkin spiced dirty chai latte, my kids ordered lavender lemonades and I ordered a dirty chai latte...so delicious!!! I brought my friend, a certified plant lady visiting from out of town, to Succulent Cafe after spotting it on Yelp--and wow, it did not disappoint! I'd been to the cocktail bar Frankie's out front before, but this was my first time exploring the cafe behind it. The vibes here are incredible! Plants everywhere, gorgeous photo ops around every corner, and yes, you can even buy some of these beauties to take home! We ordered coffees, and our barista was super friendly and welcoming. My friend got a hot lavender latte (half sweetened) while I went for the iced salted caramel latte. Both were perfection! We were honestly in love with everything: the coffee, the ambiance, the plants, and the good vibes. This succulent cafe is the cutest! Super chill and a nice spot to grab a drink and relax. You can even purchase some of the succulents which is great. The person who took our order also made our coffee. I ordered a lavender latte and tasted some lavender, but it was quite light. Not sure what coffee beans are used, but the caffeine pick me up was lacking.. The menu is at the cart, so you'll have to walk up the stairs and up to the cart to see the menu. Coffee/drinks only. I came to the Succulent Coffee and enjoyed this small & mostly hidden gem of a café and found it to be unique in its theme and very appropriate for those who want to enjoy their caffeine within a quaint & mostly quiet location. The Succulent Coffee is located in Downtown Oceanside, and can be entered either from The Brick Hotel, Stone Brewery or from a side entrance doorway that leads to Tremont St. It's precise location is BEHIND Frankie's Bar and in the space between Stone Brewery. It's rather quaint really. This spot is a gem for those who love greenery and succulent plants. The interior decor and walls is based on this theme and there are many for sale too. It also has an open-roof concept that allows for ample sun lighting. The interior is also elongated and narrow , with a small nook n cranny alley that focuses on more succulents. It's a very unique concept. The menu is very simple and straightforward. There's table seating with simple chairs. I would not consider this an "internet café", but more like a place to enjoy caffeine with greens There's only 1 worker and that's the owner. He is friendly when you get to know him and although the brand is a chain, this café definitely gives off "small owner" vibes. *Update: As I've just learned from the owner, I was corrected and happy to announce that this is NOT a chain and is, indeed, a small family business * Overall, I enjoyed my chai tea and this is nice spot for a caffeine pitstop. read more

This spot is such a hidden gem. The gentlemen who was running the coffee shop was very friendly and accommodating. I needed a quiet place to do work (with internet) and drink coffee and this place hit all of the wickets. Even after they closed he said I could stay as long as I needed to.
