Wallace is a rare combination of the highest quality product, convenience and affordability. Their website is simple to navigate and order from, while the monthly pick up as quick and easy as it gets, you're in and out in 30 seconds. The products, well I don't know where to begin. Everything I have purchased from them has been excellent (and there has been a lot). I have purged my kitchen of any grocery store bought meat and have switched solely to Wallace. Their meat comes vacuum sealed and frozen, which has resulted in my freezer being stocked to the brim with grassfed, organic and ethically raised meat. I challenge you to find a better steak in the city at any price, let alone the prices they charge. For a similar cut at these price points, you're probably looking at a styrofoam tray with a gray piece of meat on it from your local supermarket.

My favorite part might be the cajun butter sauce with white rice... even more than the seafood. I love white rice with basically any sauce. The food was fresh, the sauce was mild as requested, still flavorful and not too salty. If you order the clams on its own, no sides, the bag might seem a little small but that's just because the clam meat is so small. For takeout, your seafood will come double bagged so it was leak proof. We decided to empty the bags into bowls since we were doing family style, and it was a hearty meal. I can't comment on the ambiance since it was a takeout order, but we enjoyed our food. We'll be back!

Went to the Customer Service desk and the guy there said the manager is in the bathroom. Both workers started to talk to each other in Spanish. The female worker telling him, tell her the manager is not coming back until tomorrow. I told them I can speak Spanish and I understood everything they said. They got quiet very quickly. I don't find their prices too be that expensive either! I would definitely recommend supporting this local business downtown if you're in need of some fresh oils or vinegars!

I have to say that this place is a disaster waiting to happen. It's dirty, it smells like a combination of swampy fish water and bleach, the lady cooking the foods never washed her hands as she went from cashing out customers to cooking food, her clothes were dirty and look like she arrived with them that dirty for work today. The back room where they prep for was not clean nor sanitary looking. Overall this place needs top be heavily inspected soon. The food is pedestrian at best and the smell has permeated the concrete floors as well as the drop ceiling tiles. Likely best to avoid unless you are desperate for mediocre food served up in a questionably clean space read more
