Small Asian grocery store that has what you need. Rice, noodles, vegetables, butcher shop with fish and meat, eggs, sauces, snacks, can goods, frozen section with wonton or eggroll wrappers, potstickers, etc. They also have a hot food counter. Rice and 2 side or noodles and 2 sides combos about $10 to $12. They have empanadas for $2.50 each and a variety of asian appetizers. There was so much to choose from. Food is delicious and at a great price.

AUTHENTIC And ready to take home Philippine food. The employees are always very polite, in the food is always just as I remember eating in the Philippines. You can dined in, or take out ready to go meals either for individual or family size. Adobo, Kaldereta, Pakbet, fried fish and many street food favorites from the Philippines. The restaurant is located inside the Asian grocery store which also has many hard to find imported Asian specialty foods.

This is the place where we go to for our groceries They have most or all that you will need to cook filipino food. Selections are awesome! So that is a 5 star right there but this review is for the take out section. The restaurant side of it is below par compare to other filipino restaurants nearby but the price is a lot cheaper. We ordered a small menudo to go for $6.99 and as we start eating, mostly carrots and potatoes. Not sure what the ratio is with the ingredients and meat with their dishes but definitely this one was not an even one. It is a hit or miss with this place, like we love their lumpiang shanghai and pinakbet but fail on the others. There are other three restaurants in the area, FM Asian food mart and Unimart are by Woodridge, and South Sea in Bolingbrook. Try each one and see which one meets your taste buds. Happy Eating!

But this place very Sushi quality was really good even the appetizers were really good I love the kani salad, it's the first time in a long time that I had a good one. I think next time it would be better for more people that way we can try more stuff on the menu, they do charge a dollar per piece of leftovers. They also have a section for seafood boil which I am really interested in trying and because of that I am definitely coming back. Service was great. Parking is not an issue. And the place is pretty special because it is one piece themed which I found out was a very famous anime. Happy eating!

I wanted to give them 4 or 5 stars, BUT: one item, the All Blue Roll, is dangerously mislabeled. The menu described it as "spicy salmon, avocado inside, top w. salmon and lemon, top w. tobiko, yozu sauce." Interestingly that's the exact same description given for their Zeff Roll, which costs $1.25 more. However, the All Blue Roll is NOT topped with salmon or lemon, just shredded imitation crab under the tobiko and yozu sauce. We had people with shellfish allergies in our group, and purposefully ordered nothing with any shellfish ingredients. For those who will ask, imitation crab is made with crab-derived ingredients and will trigger a shellfish allergy. I don't know if the menu is incorrect or if the chef made a random substitution, but if we hadn't noticed in time, we would have had a life-threatening medical emergency to deal with. It also forced us to question and take apart every other item in our order to make sure other items were safe for our group. Put a big damper on what would otherwise have been a great evening. For the prices they charge, the overall quality was acceptable, nothing to rave about but fine. But this gaffe will prevent us from going here again.

I asked them to replace the red sauce with queso and she did. Unfortunately, I thought it was going to be a cheese sauce, but it was melted cheese on top of the burrito. Had it been queso? I almost went with the skirt steak burrito, but she recommended this one and I felt like I probably should go with her recommendation. Next time I come, I will probably go with the skirt steak or a fajita chicken. Unfortunately, the Barbacoa was not as good as I was hoping or as good as I've had in other locations.

We are a family that loves ketchup on fries but didn't want to tear open a ton of little packets. Maybe a bottle or two of ketchup on the counter for eat in orders next time. It's across the street from Arby's in a small strip mall. You'll definitely have to make a U-Turn because getting into the lot is weird. Plenty of parking since it is a shared lot. We decided to do two combo meals plus the aristocrat chicken. When dining in, there are about 4 tables so it can be limited if there is a rush hour. The owner was very pleasant and he explained about the items before we looked at the menu. Lumpia was crispy and tasty. Garlic rice was a little oily but still good. Overall, it's about a 4. I would have given them a 5 but that rock hard crispy kare kare is hard to forget. However, I'll return to try other items. -crispy kare kare with garlic rice and lumpia 3 - I wanted to like this but the crispy kare kare was a huge let down. It was very tough to eat. I've had Filipino food many times and it was never this hard. It's a shame because the peanut sauce with the veggies and eggplant were delicious. -bbq pork belly (liempo) with garlic rice and lumpia 5 - I really liked the BBQ pork belly. Very easy to cut with a spoon. Meat was well seasoned. It is fatty, so it's best to eat it with rice. -aristocrat chicken 5 - highly recommended. Chicken is extremely flavorful even for leftovers. Meat is very moist and juicy. Nice balance of sweet and salty. I should have gotten the 10 pieces.

I went back and forth on four or five stars on this visually and acoustically vibrant, fun, lively cantina alto vibe setting--its new location. I at first suffered sticker shock--no way was I paying supper club prices just for a Mexi-riche sheen! I ate at this place at its previous location just up the street minus the designer packaging, and though ok, that experience did not justify the prices I was seeing on this new menu. I may have been a bit hasty though. They not only stepped up their visual/environment game, but their food game as well--at least on this visit. My aperitivo was a frozen mango and rum to enjoy with crisp chips and three types of salsa. The main dishes were deliciosísimo. Yes, you will pay several more pesos (which is still a bit of a sore spot); however, the portions are more than ample-enough for two. Our server was attentive, polite, efficient, and very pleasant. Despite the higher prices, the overall experience was a very good one--I feel I got my money's worth as the saying goes--I landed on five stars this go around.
