Succulent vegan tacos has high marks for a good reason. Their tacos are unique, flavorful, came out quickly, and were a reasonable price. I chose the papas and al pastor and would certainly have both again.

I ordered the three-taco meal and I struggled which three of the four tacos to choose from -- they all sounded so good. I settled on the Al Pastor, Papas and Asada. I'm happy to report that all were delicious. The Pastor was peppery and sweet thanks to the fresh pineapple. The Papas were also great thanks to the rich, well-seasoned mashed potato -- the side of tomatillo salsa made it even better. The Asada may have been my favorite. It was probably the most meat-like meatless taco I've ever had, and I've had a lot. All of the tacos were held together by a double corn tortilla. The tacos were still messy -- but it was worth it. If you're vegan or just looking for something different, Succulent is a great option at the Farmer's Market food court! I hope to go back soon to try the Tinga taco as well as the street corn.

My status an an expert in the pescatarian and vegan taco fields, I had to try this place. First, note that it is located in an indoor farmer's market where there are also a bunch of other restaurants. So don't be confused if you pull up and the outside doesn't look like the exterior photos posted on here. In terms of service, the cashier was great! They don't offer table service so not much to say there. There are four taco options. I had three out of the four. The Tinga taco is actually my favorite. It's mostly carrots but is actually quite flavorful. They do the double tortilla thing here, so that kept all the juiciness together. I'd give this taco an 8 out of 10. The tortillas could have been warmer and less dry. The potato taco was well seasoned too. It was more of a mashed potato taco, and I'm not a fan of mashed potatoes. I also just generally have an issue with starch on starch, but that's a personal problem. I'd give this taco a 7 out of 10 but you may love it. The asada one was pretty good, especially with the green sauce. I don't think it needed two tortillas though. And the tortillas were dry, so that made me thirsty lol this one is an 8 out of 10. All of the tacos are generally lacking in moisture, so I don't know if I'd say they're "succulent." The reason I gave this place a five instead of a four was the esquites. So if you are familiar with this non-dairy, non-egg lifestyle, you understand that you pretty much can't eat elotes or esquites. This is only the second vegan place I've ever seen to do this correctly and authentically. It warms my heart. I haven't had esquites in YEARS. Yes, I've had bowls of corn with lime and tajin...but that's not the same. I really appreciate the nostalgia that this place has brought me. Honestly, I would come back for more esquites and tacos even though they weren't perfect. Also, the farmer's market is a whole vibe. There's live music--check out the video.

Food: all the tacos were prepared well, but my favorite is the asada. I'll come back and order this again and try the bean and rice. Service: 5/5 quick and easy ordering process. This was a nice vegan lunch option that hit the spot!

Great vegan tacos it's a stall in a food hall in a farmers/artisan market, the food was flavorful and filling, the staff was courteous with speedy service, great place to visit!

I tried this spot a few years ago, and remembered that there was nothing exciting about the food. I figured I'd give them a try again, unfortunately, just about the same experience. I ordered 1 taco papas, 1 taco asada, 1 taco Al pastor, rice, beans, and esquites with added takis. The tacos were all disappointing, I didn't finish eating them, they all lacked flavor, and the sauces didn't aide in adding much to it. The beans were tasty, but the esquites was somewhat of a savior of my meal. The esquites was very delicious; truly the highlight! I would only come back for the esquites, no more tacos for me.

I am forever on a quest to bring my wife a little unexpected joy! So on this weekend getaway I decided to research mostly vegetarian/vegan options for all our dining choices, with the exception of at least one visit to a BBQ joint for me! To replace just one meal with veggies is an enormous accomplishment for me, and on this trip I was going for husband gold! I was armed with at least 13 highly rated options before we even began our 4.5 hour drive to Nashville from Atlanta. Near the very top of my list (which was based on yelp & google ratings) was Succulent Vegan Tacos! Everything about the menu, descriptions and pictures seemed to make this an ideal stop for the both of us... a rabbit food eater and a carnivore! Well, you heard what they say about the best laid plans right? I was quite proud of myself! Our first stop after a long drive was Nashville Farmers' Market and I got out of the car feeling mighty good about treating her to a vegelicious weekend. I'd given her my list of yelp recommendations the week prior to our trip, but instead of making a choice of her own she pulled a "Surprise Me" like she was Anton Ego from the movie Ratatouille. After I gave her a 'WHUT CHU TALKIN' BOUT WILLIS' look, I immediately accepted the challenge! After all, I've been with this vision of beauty for 25 years! Surely I know enough to pull this off right? * insert hands over my face pic here * My wife is NOTORIOUSLY PICKY!!! I mean I could literally choose something she absolutely loves, but she might not be in the mood for it that day and I'm just out of luck. But on this day she was willing to try several items: The tamale, potato taco, chicken taco and Mexican street corn with black beans and rice as her sides. I also ordered the Asada Taco for me with every intention on sharing everything else. I would honestly give the Asada Taco 3.5 stars. It was a valiant attempt to knock a carnivore off his carcass! But the rest of the meal just wasn't hitting for me and instead I found myself tapping out and walking over to the Chicago Style Gyro place for some meaty respite! The meal wasn't hitting for my wife either, as evident by the fact she only finished the potato taco. [ THE VERDICT ] Bottom line, my wife was so unimpressed that she instructed me to just go wherever I wanted to go this weekend and she'd find something there to eat. After just one meal she had enough of any place Vegan and said she could find veggies most anywhere I like to eat. I did learn a valuable lesson though! She doesn't like meat or its texture and her mind simply can't accept veggies that look or taste like meat, which is weird since I know she will eat SOME meat like thinly sliced turkey, crispy turkey bacon, turkey pepperoni's or occasionally a small hamburger like White Castle or Krystal's. She recently mentioned her doctor recommended she intake more protein, so I thought Vegan might be a good alternative. OOPPSS! 2023 / 34

Such a good spot! This is a cute taco place located inside the Nashville Farmer's Market. As someone with a dairy allergy, I am always seeking good vegan spots, and this is one to make sure you don't miss. I got two tacos with roasted carrots and beans. Unusual, but delicious. It's vegan food that does it's own thing rather than trying to imitate non-vegan food, which I enjoy. The tacos had a bit of a kick. I also got a side of rice and beans. The portions were perfect and filling. I also got a Mexican hot chocolate. It wasn't spicy, but had a great amount of flavor. Everything I got was delicious. Five stars!

Al pastor and monthly special (fried avocado)

Amazing tacos! Stumbled across them by accident and couldn't believe my luck of finding a vegan eatery. The staff talked me into trying the monthly special and OMG the fried avocado was probably the best taco I have ever eaten. The food was ready in minutes, fresh, light and filling. The staff is sweet and friendly. 1000000% recommend

I Love supporting a small business filled with owners dreams and goals. I came here on a rainy Saturday and the decor immediately caught my attention- you will not miss it. I met one of the owners- Ronald. He was very friendly and helpful. He said they had been opened for several months. I love everyone works there wear a mask- this shows me this business cares about the health of their customers. It was an extremely clean place. I ordered 2 tacos, they were all so delicious. Even though I am not a vegan but I couldn't tell the difference that much. I would recommend this place to friends and family members!

Located inside of Nashville Farmer's Market, this spot boasts being the city's first vegan taqueria. That accolade instantly drew me in. However, the food was seriously lacking in flavor and was generally forgettable..... almost to the extent that perhaps they were just having an "off" day? The taco became much more enjoyable when doused in sauce, but I'm not sure how much of a compliment that is. If I was a vegan who struggled to find options around town, then I would definitely be willing to come back and try again.... BUT that isn't the case, so I don't know how hard-pressed I am to return. Which is unfortunate because the STAFF was SO sweet! Seriously, so kind and so friendly and helpful. If you want to support some kind folks and are OK overlooking the food a bit, then I'd tell you to go.

Get the Al Pastor and the Asada. Hands down the best of the four. :) loved the location, such a fun place. The staff was kind and friendly. Would definitely go back!

This place came recommended from a friend and it seemed exciting to go to the restaurant of a singer! It is right in the heart of the downtown bar area. We had a very large group of people on a Saturday night. We had a bit of a wait as they do not take reservations. They seated us upstairs all together sort of at a row of tables separate but all on a row which worked out ok. We were there to celebrate a 21st birthday. They did say Happy Birthday but nothing special beyond that was given or provided which was a little disappointing but I think everyone in Nashville is celebrating something so I get it. Service was very good. Chips with salsa and guacamole was provided upon seating for everyone. When requested more was provided. We had one person who was Gluten Free and they appeared to take care in explaining options as well as answering any questions people had. Drinks were refilled and kept flowing (alcoholic ones). And for a busy Saturday night meals came out in a good timing. Everyone enjoyed their meal although one person had bitten into something hot and did not like it and they were happy to replace the meal. The meal that I had was fantastic! The steak quesadilla. The steak was tender and extremely flavorful. Honestly I had been a bit hesitant to order steak due to being very picky over steak quality. But I was very happy with it! Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals and at the end of the meal the server actually was ok with splitting up the ticket even tho we were a very large group which many many establishments refuse to do so this made me very pleased! Oh they had a live band playing on the first floor which was nice. There is an elevator at the back of the restaurant which is nice for those unable or just not wanting to climb a flight of stairs . The flower wall with the Nashville name on it made such a great backdrop for photos! They had two unisex bathrooms on the first floor. I would definitely recommend and go back to this place!
