My dad and his lovely wife Linda loved visiting this bar during bike week and other times during their visits to Myrtle Beach. Dad (Grizz) paased on Feb 2 2018. I cannot even begin to express what the world lost on that day. But today I finally felt him say "Today is the day." So I stopped by and ordered a tequila shot in his honor. The bartender ... sweet as SC sugar cane...listened to my story and broght me a tequila shot. I told her his name and tgat he was a WV coal miner. A biker bar accepting of all types. You dont have to own or ride a bike to have a good time or fit in here. Extremely local yet also tourist friendly for all types! Your quintessential biker bar! Walk in, dark, dirty, un-inviting and dingy. We went on a rainy day, it was slow inside, not much going on. Was not my scene, but not the reason for my review -- I was surprised people were smoking inside the bar, gross. Guess it fits the vibe and if that's your scene, you'll love it. What's not to like about this place, they've got a huge rooftop space, cheap beer, great t-shirts (unless you're the uptight liberal PC type), and a friendly staff. This is a very friendly dive bar, where locals and bikers hang out. It is a small bar, with a large open area in the rear, for events and bikers to park. The people are friendly, they hang out drinking beer mostly, playing games, watching tv, etc. I tried my first sip of moonshine here during an event. I do not drink, but I had to try it and it was delicious. If I were able to drink, this would be for me, a great hangout for me, it is for people of all ages, 20's-80's+. I just recently purchased a motorcycle and have been traveling everywhere I can experiencing life on it. My travels lead me to South Carolina and that's where I found this place. It's an awesome biker bar. You pull your bike up to the front or u can park in the back which is a huge hangout area. The food was surprisingly very very good. You would think a biker bar would just have good cold beer and bikes...which they also have lol. They had a live band that were pretty good and they had televisions all around so you could watch your favorite sports game. If your a biker this is the place for you. read more

This is not just a bar it is a Mecca of all bars. We were only going to stay a half hour or so, but it was so interesting there we were there over two hours. If we were not afraid of a DUI we would still be there. Tonya is the bomb. What a great, friendly bartender. We also had a very good hamburger for like $6.99. Hard to beat. If I lived closer to this place I would be a regular customer. Note: please do not think it is just a biker place. So many non bikers were there and everyone biker or non biker were friendly. First time at SBB was a local rock/metal show. This isn't a music review so I wont comment on that because what stood out was the bar staff. My wife and I have lived in MB for years and haven't seen a bar staff that professional and on top of things since The Sound Hole. We were totally taken care of in every way by every staff member to cross our path. It was busy because of the show but not once did we feel lost in the crowd. A server was multitasking expertly and even still made sure we were taken care of in her travels. We ordered some bar food which was better than we expected, had flavor, and decent quality. We were even at point many feet from the bar when the bartender caught my eye and asked if I needed anything through gestures. It's a crack team that deserves praise and we plan on coming back frequently. read more

The beer is cold and plentiful. During MBBW, they will have food vendors outside (typical fair roach coaches) and other "attractions". Very cool joint. I stopped in with my wife a few weeks back for a couple of beers and had a great time. They had this dude up on stage playing country music that I would have sworn was Waylon Jennings himself. The bartenders are smoking hot. Don't expect them to call you sir, but expect a cold (and cheap) beer fast, and expect to be served with an attitude that drives you wild. That is what this place is all about.....it is the original biker bar in Murrells Inlet and earns that title with distinction. But don't mistake this place for one that only welcomes bikers. Whether MBBW or a random Tuesday at Happy Hour you will find a friendly crowd, good music, tasty food from Motley's Slop Trough, and great atmosphere. This is the Biker bar that you want to visit for sure if you are in town for one of the bike events. Last time I went there was for Harley week events ,I wanted to buy my daughter a T -shirt from one of the many vender tents that are set up on their property and across the street from it.The proper attire was jeans and T shirt and dark colors for sure . They have music and lots of booze everyone looks like they are having a good time . I just remember the sign at one of the bars with all the female bartenders said " Real meat , real bone, not an ounce of silicone" There are so many thousands of people there for the bikers week that Someone who was part owner at one time said they made enough money to pay the bills there for the rest of the year from that one week. They are not that busy during the week during the rest of the season ,but seem very busy on weekends. They tore down the big SBB that was on the 17 bypass and a Walmart sits there now so the Suck, Bang and Blow in Murrells Inlet on business 17 is the only one now. We live in Murrells Inlet and I can remember the big uproar from the little village when they named the bar .People were a little shocked . But the name stuck and I'm sure every biker that visits rides out of town with a Suck,Bang and Blow Tshirt on ! So I am giving the bar 4 stars for its atmosphere as a biker bar but you can go down the street if you want to have a great meal at one of the 25 restaurants along the Inlet and the Marshwalk ! read more
