PLEASE RUN, DON'T Walk to get away from this incompetent doctor. He has been disciplined by the California Medical Board for unsanitary practices (see photo) I reviewed him and his office as dirty even before the Board directed me to other complaints as I was registering mine with the Board. See all 1 star reviews! I wish there was a no star option. Made 1st appt 9 months ago, get to office they told me to go to. It's permanently closed. Appointment didn't happen. 9 weeks later was 1st available appt at another office. Get there, not on their books. Finally, 9 months after initial contact with doctor, had consultation in his dirty, run down office. Get a paper w/instructions for my pre-procedure prep but it's illegible (see photo) so I called office to send a new one after they bought an ink cartridge...new paper arrived in mail looking exactly the same. I don't trust a doctor who cant afford to replace an ink cartridge. Arrive at 6 am for my procedure only to be told I'm not on the schedule!! After I took my last paid day off of work, paid a sitter to get my kids up and drive them to school, and an Uber to get to the hospital, AND I had to pay for an over the counter prep because "Dr." Reddy forgot to sign the prescription pad!!! Pharmacy calls number on pad. It's disconnected. They google the address on the script...office listed as "permanently closed." It was a Saturday so, by the time my pharmacy was able to find the correct phone number, the doctor was unreachable. I went through a LONG, miserable prep just to be told there was a scheduling error. Also, there were 2 other people at the hospital with the same 7:30 am procedure time I was supposed to have. Not sure how Dr. Reddy planned on performing 3 procedures at once...but with this guy, I wouldn't be surprised if he one hand in someone's gut and the other hand up someone's butt at the same time. On my way out of this sh*t show, a staff member said, "It's probably for the best" with a wink. And I am relieved now that I couldn't have the procedure. Everything about this guy screams "Staph infection coming your way courtesy of Dr. Reddy." I tried calling his office upon my return home only to be disconnected 3 times before I was able to talk to a human (who said my appt is today at 7:30 and that he has no idea why I wasn't on the schedule. Woops, sorry! Would you like to reschedule for July? JULY?! Hell No. I have already filed a complaint online with the California Medical Board and I encourage every patient to do so. Dr. Sudhir Reddy was very disappointing. Really wasn't really interested in the reason we were there. The interview lasted less than five minutes, most of it filled with his interruptions and irritation. He left and said he would be back. He never returned and had his staff person explain the colonoscopy process to us. We waited six months to see him due to the current problems of getting an initial appointment almost anywhere in the Pomona Valley area. We won't be back. Perhaps a refresher class in customer service and care would be in order. His style didn't exactly exude professionalism. His arrogance was unbelievable. I've had such a crazy experience with this doctor. He is he incredibly old and doesn't seem all there. His office staff is lost half the time. At this time I don't even know where his office or what their number is because they closed down and moved with no notice or updates to anything online or anything. I discovered this the first time I had to see him after an ER visit and I couldn't reach them by phone at all when the old office doors were closed and had no idea where to go. Aside from that, he's given me okay medical advice but oddly insisted that I get my own records from 1998 for a colonoscopy I had back then because they couldn't get them. When I didn't have them at my last appt he reprimanded me. Like why do you even need to know what my first colonoscopy says anyway that much?!?! It was strange. With regard to his age, the only reason why I mention that is he seems lost often and I've had to remind or correct him about my details/situation (when I was still seeing him). I was desperate at the time and only kept him on as a dr because of that. It's been two year since I've seen him and I cringe thinking about ever having to see him again. read more

Absolutely awful. This guy almost killed me. He's a liar and should NOT be in charge of saving peoples' lives. I went to him for a second opinion about a large hiatal hernia with a twisted stomach. The consultation went really well. I finally felt like my concerns were being heard. However, when I went in for the endoscopy, his entire attitude towards me changed when I reminded him again that he was my second opinion. My endoscopy was hell. I woke up in the middle of it, but that was only the start of the problems with him. I went into his office knowing (and verifying) my condition beforehand. This quack actually had the audacity to lie to me and tell me that I had no twist in my stomach and that he didn't really even see any signs of a hernia. He quickly released me from his care. Fast forward FOUR WEEKS LATER and I was in the emergency room with a strangulated stomach (due to the twist that "wasn't there") and needed open, emergency surgery to save my life. Avoid this doctor at all costs. He has no morals and has no problem whatsoever lying to patients that trust him. read more

Ten years ago I would have given Dr Reddy four stars, minus one for office staff, but there have been drastic changes. First of all, they couldn't find my records and were insistent I hadn't seen Dr Reddy. Lo and behold, at my appointment, they had the records in hand. No apology for making me try to locate my own ten year old DVD records. Trying to communicate with anyone other than a message taker was impossible. Call-backs, I was told, took 3 weeks. I was finally scheduled. After Covid necessitated several reschedules, the day before the procedure, Dr Reddy again cancelled the procedure. I was told I needed to get information from other providers, the office would not. Then I found out the information had indeed been already provided to Dr Reddy. The message madness began again. I left messages and emails. I was assured I would be scheduled in 3 weeks. After 6 weeks, I called again. Left a message again. After 4 weeks, left another message. Joining Chaparral has only made the problem worse. Message after message, email after email, went unanswered. I finally scheduled with another gastro. After months of waiting, I found another doctor and my procedure has finally scheduled, in a hospital, which is a bonus. I'm sorry this had to happen and that I had to write this unfavorable review. Prior contacts/procedures with Dr Reddy had been positive. read more

Dr Reedy is the only one that figured out I had a gallbladder issues and it was shutting down. He's been my GI doctor for a while now. I'm very grateful to him. The ER twice had no clue what was wrong with me, nor any of my doctors I go too. So, I went to Dr. Reddy and he ordered a Hida scan. Then he calls me and tell me my gallbladder needs to be taking out it was only working 30% and he recommended surgerns because obviously not his field. He is a great GI has taking care of me always. Great professional office staff, Dr. Reddy always cares for his patients. Been with him since the 90's I've seen him in his office and as a patient in the hospital he has great bedside manners. Dr Reddy is a nice, thoughtful doctor. I had an unusual ailment and was sent to several specialists. He was a little upset at himself that he couldn't figure out exactly what was wrong with me, which shows he cares. He performed a procedure on me and all went well, from the anesthesiologist to the recovery nurses and Dr Reddy's advice. He is conscientious and that counts for a lot when you're not treated like just another number. read more

I never give poor feedback, however I am not a fan of this doctor for multiple reasons. The two biggies are: 1. Did not tell me I needed my Gall Bladder removed for six months following the test he ordered and had received results. He claimed that he had told me and got very defensive when I questioned him. I think I would have remembered if he said "Jennifer your Gall Bladder is only functioning at 6% and needs to come out now", especially because I was in such pain and had terrible nausea.... 2. I was in intense abdominal pain and called his office. They told me to go to the ER and let them know when I arrived and he would meet me there. He never showed up. The ER even called him and he didn't come, call me or follow-up in any way. My husband on the other hand is satisfied with him so maybe it is just me? I don't trust him and feel that he does not really care about his patients. If you choose to see him follow-up VERY closely and make sure you get copies of ALL of your test results. read more

I was impressed with Dr. Reddy. First, the office got me an appt pretty quickly which I was appreciative for. After a short 10 minute wait, the dr came in, he listened carefully to me and my symptoms while taking notes. He seems to be very competent and explained things thoroughly to me. He was able to get me scheduled for a endoscopy within a week. I am hopeful Dr Reddy will give me a great course of action once he gets results from my procedure. read more

I went to the ER via ambulance in excruciating pain, with profuse sweating and nausea. Tests revealed Pancreatitis with a completely occluded common bile duct. Dr Reddy performed an ERCP with a stent placed in the common bile duct. After 6 days in the hosp (and still in pain), I was encouraged by Dr Reddy to go home. He said I would heal faster. I asked for another CT scan, he said it wasn't necessary at this point. I went home, unable to tolerate any oral food or fluids. My husband called his office every.single.day to let them know. He was not in the office, he was on call, yet he NEVER called back. He called back on the 6th day of this nightmare and said I should. E able to eat and drink by now. NO KIDDING!!! He told me to go to the ER, I did, and he informed he is a simple Dr and San Antonio is a simple Hosp. I need to seek a specialist at a University hosp. Ummm, gee thanks. No relief of symptoms, can't get in to see a specialist at Loma Linda til 9-24-18. I wouldn't even give him 1 star, but I can't post unless I choose at least 1 star. read more
