Hey hey hey ya boy Clerksrat back with another tast- errr I mean clean review. So Mrs. Clerksrat and I have been hunting for a new wash and fold spot. We had been using Juliette but no joke they charge like they are bringing us back brand new clothes. I saw someone in the area from suds delivering and decided to check them out. Our requirements are pickup/delivery/fast/don't lose clothes/don't give me others janky drawers/never lose socks. Now Juliette was dope since had an app but that thing barely worked. Suds is a bit basic where you use a website to book. They offer of same day or one day and doesn't seem to be a price difference so that's a bit confusing. Who wouldn't pick same day for same price?!? They require a $25 down payment which is odd but makes sense since this pickup requires a lot of trust and it applies to the total. Now I was confused because you just toss the street address in and that's it. No direction no notes just YOLO it. So far I've done it a few times and I'm digging it. Haven't lost a single sock and rate is fair. My only deduction is the scent comes back pretty strong but they do allow for notes in the laundry so maybe I'll ask to make it less scenty next time. Anyway I highly recommend getting those tighty whities done by the park. read more

I was looking for a laundromat where I can do my own laundry, a challenge for sure on the UWS. I came across Suds by the Park which allows you to do your own laundry on Sundays only! The prices seem comparative to other locations in the area. I got to the location around 9:30/10 and had to wait about 5-10 minutes for a machine. They offer 2 sizes and honestly the small machine is WAY too small unless you're washing just a few things. The gentleman working was very helpful and kind. If you only have cash they have quarters so that you can exchange to pay for the machines. Everything was a little discombobulated with some workers do laundry in addition to people using the self serve option. I came back to move my clothing from the washer to a dryer and someone had pulled all my stuff out and put it into a basket....didn't love that. read more

I used this place about 6 times, the first 4 times everything was fine, the staff was prompt with delivery and pick up, the guys that did the deliveries and pick up's were very nice, the wash and fold was very good ( at first) Then I noticed that the laundry was being returned, not as clean as before. This very last time, I spent about $200 on 4 large bags. It came back, and it looked like the machines were filled too much and the clothing did not wash evenly, I found some sort of refuse washed into my brand new sheets, my Duvet Cover had spots on it that were not there when I sent it in, the whites were still dirty. I had to take it and re- wash it myself at the local laundromat, and getting the stains out that were dried in by this place was a challenge. Some of the items were beyond saving and totally ruined. Needless to say, I will never use this place again. I can not recommend this laundromat by any means . I suggest you send your laundry elsewhere. read more

Paid $59 for wash and fold and they did not fold any of it! Pick-up and delivery was timely and they used unscented detergent as requested, but what is the point of paying someone else to do my laundry if they don't bother to fold it? Socks were not paired and I'm fact were just tossed into the clothes pile at random so I have to find and pair them myself. I won't use again. read more

They consistently overcharge here, so be sure to calculate the price based on the posted signage yourself. After I pointed out an overcharge, my hamper was returned to me broken. In November 2021, Because of a glitch with the laundry room of the Airbnb apartment, the host connected me with this service. They are excellent. Pick up and delivery on the same day. Neatly folded. I've had decent luck here in the past but I just got my sheets back and they are stained a mysterious pink color. I think it's just these sheets (maybe they washed them separately?) so thank god its not some of my nicer clothes but it's still pretty bad EDIT: upon calling, they speculated that maybe it got washed in hot instead of cold as I had requested. They offered to fix the sheet and try to remove the stain for free, which they did manage to do successfully and quickly. They also notified me that although they were willing to do it this time, normally they need complaints within 48 hours of pickup. I tend to leave my stuff folded until I need it, so take that as you will. Happy with the responsiveness after all that. read more

we unfortunately had a terrible experience with this laundry. At first they were great but they have some folks that just don't seem to care about the reputation of the laundry. we stopped using them after several incidents where laundry was left on the outside of our building door. we thought, "ok things happen" and we let it go even though there is no doorman and our clothwe could've easily been stolen. they claimed no responsibility for it even though they are supposed to take it to our door. we were home. another time our white clothes were ruined with some kind of black ink spots on everything. they were unwilling to help us. unwilling to give a refund. unwilling to rewash. they just stonewalled and offered no recourse for anything at all. and no way to reach anyone beyond the guy who seems to have zero interest in helping anybody. Suds by the Park really sucks. avoid if at all possible. read more

I have been using their pickup and drop off service for 2 years now. And it was easy and reliable at first. However, the past few months have been horrible. Most times, I do not get my clothes back the same day as promised. There have been several times when I had to wait multiple days. Despite being told each day that they will be returned. And now they lost a brand new scrub top (I work in a hospital) I put in the laundry before I have even worn it. They say they have a camera and they looked at the video and did not see the shirt. And then said they know they could not have lost it because the load was only 13 pounds. The worst part of all of this is the customer service. The manager does not listen and instead she says that she was not there that day. She does this every time there is an issue. Done with this laundromat. And would strongly advise against this place for my friends (and Yelp strangers!). read more

My sister and I have been using Suds by the Park for about 3 years now and we absolutely love them. We always get our laundry back same day, within a couple hours at that. They've removed stains on pieces I thought were for sure ruined. Everything is always so neatly and compactly folded (I hate folding so this is a major plus for me). Another thing I can't stress enough is their attention to allergies. I have severe allergies (I will literally break out in hives if anything scented is used on my stuff) and they have always gone above and beyond to make sure nothing scented comes anywhere near my laundry. The laudromat is efficient and clean. Staff are kind. I use it on a weekly basis. Machines are newer than at other neighborhood places. I highly recommend this laudromat. Third Update - It would appear that Alaina is very devoted to Public Relations. It's sad, if she spent half as much effort on her business herself, it's likely I wouldn't even have reviewed her laundromat in the first place. 1. I could be wrong about a back room. It might be a bathroom, even still, I certainly didn't fabricate my tale of events. You can try to spin that as much as you want. 2. As recently as April of 2019, their was no Hot water being pumped into the washers. Perhaps this has been corrected, maybe it hasn't. I do not know and do not intent to find out. Every time I was in here between June of 2018, and April 2019, I had the same experience. Like I said, I invite and encourage everyone to hold their hand to the glass of the machine. I was very disappointed. 3. I now understand that I was far too generous with two stars. I will be updating this review with a far more deserving One. ----------------------- Update - the owner Alaina responded to my review. Once again, I affirm my response in the fact that there is no Warm or Hot Water. I dare anyone there to mash the temperature button on their machine and feel the actual washer glass. There is NO Hot or Warm water. It's completely cold. I've stood there with multiple machines and cycles and checked. There is a initial rinse, than the main wash, and than a rinse. All of them fill completely with COLD. Secondly, maybe I was misunderstood, but this wasn't a case of a idle dryer. My dryer load of linens still had over 20 mins left on the machine, when this women with a blue wash bag opened the door, and begin to try unloading MY stuff into HER bag. I was feet away and confronted her. She had already loaded a white pillowcase before I was able to stop her. She was a thief plain and simple, but I literally overheard a girl behind the counter say "I'm not getting involved", and she went on into a back room. Like I said, Lazy, as charged. I'm sure the service here is fine, if your a wash and fold customer and your clothes are just very lightly soiled. But don't expect any of the staff to actually go above and beyond. Nor... should you expect anything really dirty to come clean. I also wouldn't trust the shop with anything particularly valuable, imo. --------------- I've been here to wash my clothes several times, but won't be back. First - there is no Hot or Warm Water. Everything is forced in Cold. So, forget, those whites or gym clothes, really coming clean. Second - For the area, it's just pretty expensive. When I was there, it was over $3 to wash in Quarters. And another $2 or so to dry. I would have been willing to pay that, if I didn't have the former problem. Third - I've had a women literally open the door to my dryer and begin helping herself to my bedding set. When I confronted her - the manager on duty, purposely walked and hid in the back, instead of backing me up, or looking at surveillance video. Like seriously. How lazy can you be? UPDATE: The response to my review is full of lies. Louis offered to pick up the clothes to fix them and I said that would be fine. When we hung up he said he would speak to the manager who was on duty the day before and call me back the next day. He didn't. He also didn't call back when I left several messages. What's funny about your response is that I specifically told Louis I was not seeking a refund or credit, rather I wanted to know why there was always a discrepancy and what could be done about the damaged items. It wasn't color bleeding - I only sent colors. It was bleach damage. I kept trying to work with you because you (Alaina) were polite and fixed the error the first time. Your same day service is also convenient. However, your staff is unprofessional and clearly you are all liars so I moved on. I never said anything about the clothes smelling good, as I distinctly noted that they never smelled like anything. I had issues with the folding but never complained. Now that I am using a competent laundromat they send the clothes properly folded and smelling great - NO DAMAGE. Three times and the weight they claimed is the EXACT same weight on my scale at home. You guys are liars and thieves. -- I still never got a call back after leaving several messages. Clearly this company doesn't care about their clients. I've been using another laundromat and each time the clothes have come back properly folded and smelling great. Nothing has been damaged and the weight of the bag has been accurate each time. Suds by the Park will overcharge you and mess up your items. BE WARNED! I'm really disappointed in the customer service - or lack thereof - from Suds by the Park. I've had quite a few problems in the 2+ months I've been using them. I called in last week about some problems I had with my most recent order. I spoke with Louis, one of the managers, and he assured me that he would look into the problem and call me back the next day. That was a week ago and I haven't heard from anyone. To make matters worse, I called back mid-week and left a message detailing the issue and I still haven't received a call back. My expensive sheets and towels were damaged and I was overcharged on more than one o. That was bad enough but not following up and/or calling back is unacceptable. I'm a regular on the weekends because it's close to my apt. It's a small laundromat and gets busy and tight on the weekends so be prepared to wait. Alaina and Lois are super friendly as well as the rest of the staff. I am writing about self-service. I was not happy with a lab coat I had dry cleaned there, but I still return for self-service. If they get busy, self-service is not always available on weekdays, so call first. There's no quarter change machine, but they will give change. A regular wash is $3 and large wash $6. A quarter for every 6 min of drying. Washers are in good condition and dryers are good enough. read more

This is hands down the best laundry mat / dry cleaning in the area. The service Is quick, the employees are hospitable. My clothes smell always super clean, and any stains that seem to be hard to get out, are always taken care of, but with care. The pricing isn't bad for the neighborhood either and it seems to be always busy anytime I come, which means they're just that good! If you're eco conscious, there are eco friendly options for your laundry as well.
