My little old car looks wonderful again! With a dog who rides with me most days, my car windows were getting very cloudy. And while the exterior wasn't too bad, the interior was dusty and pretty "doggy." But now it's almost brand-new. They cleaned every crevice and wiped down every exposed and hidden surface. Very solid hand wash. They did a good job on my bird poop littered car. They do not do a detail quality car wash. There was some bird poop residue left. I would still return here as there are automatic washes for the same price that do not clean much at all. read more

It was my first time here today and I would say I would definitely be back! Very friendly staff, believe it's a family business. Go around and pull in from the back (good to know before getting there). They take card and you can also tip on the card which is nice. Get the vacuum extra, it definitely beats doing it yourself. Would only say that the price was a little high (20 for exterior clean, vacuum, and a little extra charge to clean off bird droppings) but other than that it didn't take long at all and I left with a happy clean car read more

The worst! I bought a Living Social deal for $64. It was supposed to cover "supreme detailing." Their work was barely acceptable as a car wash and I would have been disappointed had I paid $15. I had to walk the guy around the car and point out the obvious dirt. He said they couldn't see it inside their dark workroom. So why don't they clean in better light?!?!?! Not only did they leave much undone or done poorly but as I watched them do remedial cleaning they rubbed my touchscreen with a filthy rag. I was afraid to ask them to touch anything under the hood and so decided to forego the promised engine degreasing. Never again!!!!!!! read more

They did an excellent job on my old 92' DeVille, looked like a New(used) car by the end. My whitewall tires are actually white around the tires again, and the entire, well conducted hand wash plus wax was only $15. I left a fair tip and for under $20 my car looked immaculately clean in 15 minutes tops. read more

Well, it's NOT Genie. And that's a good thing. This appears to be a family that's taken over an old automatic car wash at the Texaco self serve there at North Loop and N. Lamar. In 20 minutes the four of them had hand-washed the exterior and cleaned the interior BETTER than I've had done at either Genie or Doc Holiday's. The only knock is the cost...$15 for just the exterior of a small car (Dodge Dart in my case) up to $25 for a large car or pickup. The interior is extra, glass $5, vacuum $5, wipedown $5, etc. No, not especially cheap, but I really thought these people gave a hoot about my car and how I felt about their work. The only reason not five stars is that as a new customer I didn't realize that the inside was extra. What the heck, I'll be back! read more

PS don't listen to the knit picky people here, this is a $20 hand wash ($15+tip for my car), you're not getting the absolute best but compare what you're spending to what you're funding, it's completely worth it. So what if they use a low powered pressure washer to hose the garbage off your car, I don't see you out there cleaning it. I had received a Groupon from my son for Mother's Day to get my car hand washed with interior cleaning also. Took my car in today (last day to use coupon) and I'm so glad that I did! I went and was immediately greeted with a smile, was asked what I wanted done and the staff began cleaning my car. This place is a very well run business. I went today, and there was one car in front of me. I was done within 30 minutes. Granted, it's not the best car wash you'll ever receive, but it's worth the cash you pay. They hand wash everything and vacuum and interior clean for a small fee. This place was awesome! $10 for a hand wash...You simply cannot beat that. All the employees there were very pleasant and worked fast. They also pay close attention to detail. While I was there they wiped down the gaps between the inside door panel, the lining under the trunk, and under the outside trunk handle. I have been to many car washes that overcharge and do not deliver a quality wash, so I must say Suds Car Wash is one of the best car wash experiences I have ever had. I have to say its really hard to find a quality hand wash for a great price in Austin. For $10 dollars they removed all bugs, pollen, bird poop, washed the car, cleaned the windows and applied tire shine. Excellent work for a great price. Great car wash for a great price. Suds is tucked away in a Texaco station but they did a very thorough hand wash on my SVU for only $15. It was an extra charge for an interior clean and vacuum so I paid a total of $25 for a super clean car. It took a little longer than the other car washes but it was worth the wait. Extremely thorough hand car wash for $35. My car was covered in dog hair and grit from months of not cleaning, and it seriously looks and smells like a new car.
