First off, I ordered this food for delivery. The food was decent for the price and tasted pretty authentic. I wouldn't order the chicken egg rolls again because I felt like I needed some type of sauce to dip them in. They didn't taste too good plain and were a little dry. The shrimp, chicken, and shrimp plate with fried rice was amazing with the yum yum sauce. It even came with stir fried veggies as well. Would I order from this place again? I would.

*Take-Out Review* Searched and searched for a restaurant to support that we have never tried before and we came across Sugami Hibachi Express. What a great find and everything was affordable, especially for a Hibachi restaurant. We ordered three different hibachi meals and after leaving a tip, it cost about $55. That's quite a steal because it would've most likely cost double that at Benihanas or the like. I was quoted about 45 minutes for delivery and the driver arrived in 30 minutes. Quick and easy drop-off and easy ordering system as well. The food portions were large and I got two meals out of my dinner. Not to mention, there was a free coupon on the site stating that if you ordered more than $40 worth of food that you could get a free 6-piece crab cheese wonton. Okay, y'all, these wontons may not have been the best I've ever had, but they were not skimpy with the filling. The wontons were busting out the seams and I was a happy camper. As for the hibachi itself, the rice and veggies were good and there was no shortage of yum yum sauce. Plus, they don't charge extra for fried rice! The chicken teriyaki had some weird seasoning on it which made it taste different than normal, but was still enjoyable. Overall, this is a great choice if you're looking for delivery in the area and I'm sure the dining experience would be great as well.

First time visit and I'm ABSOLUTELY going back favor bomb the lady there so kind I went to wait in the car she brought it out!! Everything was in the bag sauce works, soy sauce and napkins!!! Eating right now I'm like YASSSSSS shout out to the cook!!

We received a menu in the mail and decided to check this place out. We walked in to order not really knowing how the whole hibachi express thing would work. The restaurant is a little dirty and a ton of to go boxes piled in the corner. It made the restaurant uninviting. We walked up to the counter to order and the chef came out and took our order. She was the only person working. Their prices are pretty cheap for hibachi food. Granted they are not cooking it at the table with you. I went with the shrimp, chicken and steak hibachi with brown rice. My husband got the same but with lo mein. The proteins were really good. I liked the sauce that they cook it in. The veggies that come with (broccoli, onion and zucchini) were lacking. I wish there were more veggies. The brown rice was not good. I actually didn't like it at all. It lacked any kind of flavor. The lo mein was really good. I will get that next time for sure.

Been here three times now and I really like this place. A few things is that if you want to dine in I'd suggest going during the day when it's warm. It's super cold inside at night because so many people going in and out. Other than that the food is cooked fresh I wouldn't wait too long to eat it either. I've ordered this place through Uber eats and by the time my food got here the sesame chicken and chicken skewers weren't as fresh. But the sesame chicken is really good and the chicken skewers are crispy when eaten fresh they are so good. They cook them with a teriyaki sauce.

We always get the hibachi dinners and have never been disappointed. The service is excellent and super fast. The food is always consistently good. Glad to have found this place, even if I have to drive 30 minutes to get to it. 10/10 would recommend.

Tried this spot when our go to was closed and we were pretty pleased. Veggies were tasty and portions were a good size. We ordered two hibachi plates and the wontons. I didn't care for the seasoning/lack thereof on the wontons and I recognize some folks like them a little sweeter- I prefer them more savory. They were nice and crunchy and hubster enjoyed them. The hibachi plates were quite tasty although aggressively seasoned- I'd rather have this than bland though! Well definitely be Coming here again and looking forward to trying other items on the menu! Everything tasted really fresh and arrived quite quickly! Looking forward to our next order!

I drive 20 minutes out of my way at least once a week for their food. I get the chicken, shrimp, steak, and rice for $12! You can't beat that, and plus it is so much food, enough for 2 meals, and I'm a 200+lbs guy. Ordering online is super easy and they have always been super nice. I definitely suggest trying Sugami, especially if you don't have the time or money for Benihana or something, as I find it to be quite comparable, and $20 less.

Don't eat here! I found a dead fly in my delivery order. When I tried calling the restaurant to report the incident the lady on the other end told me, "There aren't any flies here. Come show me your fly!" Very rude, very upsetting. I'm headed over there after my post. I didn't want anyone else subject to this unfortunate situation. Bugs in food happen (especially in disgusting restaurants) but it was her response that pisses me off! Customer service? Anyone? Anyone???

I saw the signs that said "Grand Opening", but I don't know when they opened. I was hungry and decided to give it a try. It's a very small neighborhood place and obviously family-owned. I was the only dime-in person, but I saw several "to-go" orders as well as several GrubHub drivers. I ordered won ton egg drop soup and beef broccoli. Those are some items I use as a "gold standard" to compare the proverbial apples. The broccoli was cooked just the way I like it: not wimpy and over-cooked. This was some good stuff. And you get a lot of beef, too. The soup was as good as many places I go. I can't wait to try the Hibachi!

Ok I was skeptical to order after reading the mixed reviews but I ordered anyway. I got the chicken and fried rice hibachi and chicken lo mein. The chicken lo mein was really good but the hibachi chicken was disgusting and I almost called and asked for a refund. The chicken appeared to be undercooked and was made with dark meat and some kind of sauce. I swear they delivered cat food and I wouldn't even feed it to my cat if I had one lol. They only gave me like 5 pieces of vegetables piled underneath the chicken. I took 2 bites and threw the rest away. Not to mention the fried rice was orange and there was nothing fried about it! No egg, green onion... nothing. But like I said... the lo mein was good. I highly doubt I will ever order from there again. read more

We were excited to try a new hibachi express place in the area. Unfortunately our food was very disappointing. The crab Rangoon's were over cooked. The sesame chicken was tough and the sauce was very bland. The egg drop soup was flavorless. The sweet and sour chicken came out without any sauce on it. We were given the sauce on the side; it was incredibly thin and tasted bad. All of our other food was not good either. read more

I just ordered food today from them and unfortunately there was a miscommunication through grubhub. Luckily Aaron made everything right and had his driver bring me what I initially requested. They did this willingly and went out of their way to fix the issue. The food was also very good!! I will definitely order from here again. P.S. I highly recommend the wonton egg drop soup. The egg foo yung and lo mein were good but my wife and I ordered the veggie egg rolls and they smelled and tasted like an ashtray. They were so gross that it ruined our appetite. They smelled like the person who made them and put them in the bag rubbed the egg rolls with cigarette butts. They made us sick read more

Food tasted fresh, not over salted, and portion size was appropriate. The shrimp was flavorful, the sesame chicken was tender not dry, and the lo mein noodles were not greasy which I cannot stand at many Chinese restaurants. They were super busy maybe why they did not really greet me, hence the four stars vs five. It's one of my goto now for Chinese. read more

I was so disappointed. I don't understand how people are giving this place such high scores. My hibachi food was too salty. I asked for plain brown rice. The rice was very strange. It looked like white rice that had somehow been tinted orange. It was NOT brown rice. And, for the first time in my life, I ordered plain rice that was inedible. ?!?!?!? How can an Asian restaurant mess up plain rice? I will never go back. read more

This was, easily the best chinese food I've had here yet. portions were huge. Priced reasonably. The fried rice was sooo good. Heck there wasn't one part that I was not happy with, It was not over fried, pieces were relativly large. I got the orange chicken and wife got sesame chicken. Egg Rolls were good. wontons were good. It really takes something to make me write like this so A+ for this place!!! I will be ordering AGAIn and AGAIn read more

This place is in a really convenient place to a lot of places I go but there isn't much flavor in any of the food.. I would rather go to Panda Express for fried rice and wontons. It wasn't the worst place I've ever been to but definitely not the best place. Food lacks overall flavor, quality of meat and rice isn't too bad. read more

Chicken skewers are meaty and tasty. Ordered shrimp fried rice and sesame chicken. Decent portions. Delivery was pretty quick and the person was nice. No fortune cookies tho, but that's not a deal breaker by any means. Good good quality overall. Nice change of pace flavor from other nearby places. Will order again. read more

Five stars for the Hibachi Steak & Chicken Teriyaki with Fried Rice. It was a huge portion of very flavorful teriyaki with meat and veggies and it was very good quality. The fried rice was OK but I think I'll get steamed rice next time. I tried their gyoza and the wraps were on the thick side and doughy. We also tried the Shrimp Tempura and the tempura batter was almost more substantive than the shrimp but I'll stick with 5 stars on my review because I loved the main entrée and I will be back. read more

Ordered teriyaki shrimp online and was delivered curried shrimp. I called and told them there was a mistake and the lady thought I was ordering, then argued that they don't put curry on rice. To my knowledge teriyaki isn't red, nor was the rice brown. read more

The food is amazing!!!! My boyfriend and I have struggled to find a Chinese restaurant that we liked in the Denver metro area. We have tried soooo many places and this is definitely our favorite! 10/10 recommend! We got the sesame chicken, crab cheese wontons and sweet and sour chicken. I've order from here a few times. The first time was great delicious. The second time the dude didn't bring me silverware and refuse to bring some back even though I ordered the food to a outdoor location aka i didn't have access to silverware. The 3rd time the rice tasted old and dry. The 4th they only brought half of my order. The food is delicious when they get it right. But they've gotten it wrong so many times. Idk if I'm keep ordering from here. It's pointless honestly. read more

They were very fast and the food was good. However, they forgot utensils and I am from out of town at a hotel. I had to go and get metal utensils from the hotel kitchen. Also, there was no sauce for the tempura shrimp. Otherwise, fresh and good food prepared quickly. read more

Probably worst food ive ever had for $55 .... hibachi was absoulty nasty and over expensive .... the chicken wasnt just meat but bits and pieces of skin too and steak was chewy and the shrimp stunk to high heaven... the crab rangoos had crab but not enough cream cheese..... Ordered delivery which came in reasonable amount of time, still piping hot! Egg rolls were large and stuffed, I ordered a specialty tofu and fried rice requesting steamed tofu and vegetable fried rice which was spot on (meaning they read their food comment requests) and my husband reports his Kung Poa chicken was delicious. We have officially switched our local Chinese delivery place after this spectacular service and food. read more

I just had lunch from here, chicken hibachi. It is the poorest attempt at "hibachi" I have ever tasted. The chicken was grizzly and looked questionable. The fried rice was yellow rice and had no veggies mixed it like typical fried rice. The yum sauce was ok, but its hard to screw that up. There wasn't much seasoning on the zucchini and onions, not even sesame seeds. I'll go to Miyabi 100/100 times for quick takeout hibachi. I will never return to try this place again. Wish I would have taken a pic before throwing half of it away. read more

Tried this place when we first moved here and it was absolutely delicious so we made it a regular thing. One time they gave us the wrong sauce with our food and they actually knew before we did. We received a phone call after picking it up and they couldn't be more apologetic. They offered for someone to come deliver a new meal to us, we didn't want them coming out because they were due to close so they gave us a free voucher for a free meal anytime and anything we want. The food was still great. If I could give 6 stars I would. Delicious! read more

Don't do it!! Called the order in and was hard to understand the woman on the phone since she spoke so fast. Was told it would take 40-45 min for the delivery. Called after 60 min and was rudely told it was on its way. Foof finally shows up over 30 minutes later and after another phone call. Again, the woman was rude and no apology for an order that took over 90 minutes to be delivered. Egg rolls and crab wontons were disgustingly greasy, brown rice and the sesame chicken was dry. Threw their menu away. read more

I eat here frequently when I'm doing laundry at the laundromat next door and the restaurant has access to WiFi it's always very clean but sometimes in the evenings it could be pretty busy so take out the way to go. They have very few seating in there but they take the orders quickly and they turn them out really quick too depending on what you order. They're super fast AND it's amazing how quick the delivery is and of all the Chinese or Asian restaurants in the area their meat is just season so well. My favorite is the Hibachi chicken and steak which with the 'yum yum' sauce is amazing. Another thing I really enjoy here is there egg foo young because they get the sauce perfect and egg foo young is always super crispy on the outside and very fluffy it's just very delicious. read more

When we added that to the soup base, it became 1000 times better. The noodles were cooked fairly well, but I would just say the broth needed a bit more flavor. Overall, it was a nice spot and we may be back to try other things.

So there's plenty of parking you just might have to walk a little further to get to the door. We were greeted and seated immediately. We placed our drink orders and then we were off to the buffet. It was set up like any other buffet, there was an Asian station with the traditional Asian foods, a fried station with your typical American foods, and even a dim sum station hidden in the back. They also had a Mongolian Grill where you could create your own! And they had a couple rolls of sushi out for grabs. The flavor of the foods with nothing out of the ordinary, pretty standard and tasted normal. So I think for the variety of options you get and the price that you pay is worth it. I didn't get to try the Mongolian Grill, but I definitely wanna go back and give it a shot. They also had a soft served ice cream, machine, and a chocolate fondue station. They also offered fruits for dessert as well. With all of the options they have available. I think you could definitely find something for everybody. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely go back!
