We came to try their bear latte but they do not serve it anymore :(( We've tried salad with salmon , it was very tasty . I've tried grapefruit peach tea, my favorite . And we share oolong peach crepes cake . It was ok , too much crème though . Service was friendly . The only problem was parking , you gotta be very lucky to park in that area
The service attitude was very bad. After paying, the waitress asked me for a tip. Her service was very poor and there was no politeness. Originally, I didn't want to give a penny because I didn't think she deserve any tip. Out of politeness, I still left a 15% tip. Please ask the boss to teach her how to serve customers and then come out to work!
I was most excited to try their gorgeous cakes, but I found their savory eats to be better. My husband fell in love with black pepper-flavored pasta after getting a taste of it here, haha. The popcorn chicken and drinks weren't memorable. The peach and jasmine green tea mouse cake was very memorable, though for the wrong reason. It had a frozen middle that was awfully hard to break apart with a spoon. I'm glad we only ordered one dessert. The vibe was giving soft girl; everything was picture-worthy.
I came here for desserts, but I might just come back here for the mains. I saw the famous skillet steaks on a sizzling plate with spaghetti and a fried egg. What I actually ordered here was a matcha tiramisu, which came in a cup with a mini spoon in it. Lots of matcha powder and the bread inside with the cream was very good. They have a lot of fruit drinks, ranging from smoothies to juice. I got a guava tea with lime, which was almost like drinking perfume. There's lots of fruit chunks in there so you know it's real fruit.

The decor is "cute meets cozy", pink & gold cushion chairs... bench two-seaters... but think they have 2 floors. The upper level, is their main and down might be an addition. We got the tight corner 4 seaters and works out fine. Definitely caters to the younger crowd, but a few families too. Service was ok, they took our order, gave us our food & drinks... didn't really interact after that. That's good too, didn't hover. Menu has a good selection of savory, sweet, teas, and snacks to choose from. We got a few items to share... didn't get to try their desserts tho. 4 drinks (latte, cream milk teas, cream green tea); chicken wings, fries, potato bacon soup, spaghetti with meat sauce, and salmon avocado fried rice. Total bill + (20%) tip $84. Winners: potato bacon soup is a hit! Creamy but not overly thick - kids liked it. Salmon avocado fried rice was yummy! Lots of texture and creaminess from the poach egg, delicious. Note: there's peanut in the fried rice - so be aware. Cream milk tea and green tea was way too sweet for me but my kids loved it. Wish my latte was a bit stronger, wasn't terrible tho. Love the latte art. Overall a good lunch spot and seems like a return is needed to try other items! #yelplife #sunsetpark
My friend and I wanted to try this place out, so we went around 12 PM. It was quiet and empty when we went inside. Since it was our first time there, we didn't know how things were done as no one greeted us. So, we decided to walk towards the back where most of the tables were, thinking we seat ourselves. However, that's when they ask us if there's 2 of us, and then let us to our seat. Everything is aesthetic that I wanted to take pics of everything. We took quite a bit to order because we're so indecisive with what we wanted. My friend wanted a bubble tea, but they said the boba wasn't ready, so we either opt for something else, wait for the boba, or just get the milk tea. My friend decided on waiting for the boba, but when she got her drink, it came without the boba, so that was disappointing. She also wanted a puff dessert, but that was also not ready yet, so that was sad, especially after being notified that the boba wasn't ready yet. The employees are very nice and on top of taking the trash and empty plates away, so that was nice. Adding on, everything else we ordered were delicious. I think the mango and shrimp salad was absolutely delicious; I would definitely get that again. Therefore, I will come back again, but probably coming a bit later. Maybe sometime in the afternoon, in hopes that the boba and some dessert options will be available.
Highly recommend this place. I've been here several times and both the savory and sweet options are super good. Spaghetti was on the drier side not such sauce but the flavor is there. Our favorite was the fried rice. I don't remember the name. The desserts are amazing ! I highly recommend the toffee molten cake. The crunch on top compliments the cake and cream so well. Not too sweet not too bland. I also recommend their passion fruit mango crepe cake a bit on the sweet side but pair it with a tea it would go well together. The only thing I didn't really like was the Matcha molten cake. Not much matcha flavor no sweetness to it. The cake was a bit mushy but overall I highly recommend the place! Another adorable dessert place in sunset park around 8th Avenue. Super cute interior and cute dessert. I love the cute golden utensil and the aesthetic of their desserts. The employees are also kind and very helpful. This place use to be full all the time and it has now settled down so there is usually availability to eat in. Probably because it's been getting cold, but none the less, I've always been easily seated during my most recent visits! They sell bubble tea, as well as chicken wings, rice over meat, cakes, and almost everything you can think of that is sold around 8th Avenue cafes. My favorite drinks are the fruit teas and the raspberry filled cake. I wouldn't say it's to die for, but the desserts and drinks are good. But I have yet to try any of their actual meals/food. Eventually I will!
This place has a wide variety of dessert options and also entrees ~pasta, steak. The staff are very understanding and flexible. We were originally seated in front of the cashier, where customers kept waking past. I wasn't comfortable with this because of Covid so I asked to be switched to a table further inside the restaraunt, which they accommodated. The interior is cute, perfect for a little date. I got the butterfly pea crepe cake and peach & oolong tea crepe cake. The butterfly pea flavor is a bit salty and the cream on top reminds me of cream cheese flavoring. My friend's favorite dessert was this. My favorite was the oolong tea peach crepe cake. The flavoring was subtle in the aftertaste. The early grey cake was a bit disappointing only because the sponge cake tasted wasn't great. It tasted like what I can find at the Chinese bakery. The soybean crazy cake was interesting. Maybe another flavor would've been better.
There's two floors, the top floor being a lot more aesthetic and comfortable. Whereas, the bottom floor is less aesthetic. As for my experience, the wait for food took extremely long. The drinks took longer than expected. It was two drinks, my party and I finished our salad before the drinks have arrived. We ordered a chicken salad, popcorn chicken, and a salmon pasta. All which was alright, nothing special.
I was excited to try this place after seeing it on tik tok but was disappointed. I envisioned this place to be soothing and serene but it was the total opposite. We arrived and it was packed in there but was able to get seating for two. And wow, it was so loud in there! There were children screaming on all sides and the music was horrendous. I saw the table next to us flinch because of the children screeching as well. It was such a horrible experience to come into a cafe expecting nice and quiet environment but to actually a Chuck E. Cheese experience out of it. Now for the food and drinks - I ordered a milk green tea, the butterfly pea crepe cake, and a spaghetti meat sauce dish. The drink and the cake were good. Tea was nicely flavored and the cake was jaw dropping delicious. It did get sickening for me after awhile though bc it was too decadent for me. The spaghetti and meat sauce was not good. I could have made it better. It was nice to experience this one time but I won't be coming back.

The dessert wasn't the best here but the boba was good. The cake was very light but the texture was not good. Everything was really pretty of course, but I don't know. Something just wasn't right. Also, there wasn't much seating there due to the people just sitting around and no new customers could sit down. read more
I wanted to really like this place, but it's all style and no substance. The desserts may look pretty, but they're awfully bland. The brown sugar boba barely had any flavor and tasted of only milk. I did not get a hint of brown sugar at all. The rose mousse cake was dry and not creamy. Also the mango lava cake.... the effect of mango spilling was cool and all, but the cake was so bland. It tasted like they just blended mango puree and put a $1.00 Chinese bakery sponge cake. read more

I came here on a Tuesday at 2pm and this place was packed! Every table was taken so I was super excited to try this place. I love the vibes in here, the i terror is decorated really cute and i love the marble. The menu is pretty similar to prince tea house but with more entree options. My friend and I ordered the black pepper steak combo with potato soup, a sukiyaki pasta, 2 little bear lattes and a caramel toffee molten cake. The little bear lattes were adorable. Fun little novelty drink and love that its not overwhelmingly sweet. The garlic bread that came with the steak was amazing. Wish there were more than 2 pieces. The potato soup was also good but would've tasted better if it was hot. When the steak came, it was a little too much on the rare side and they waitress took it back for us to cook it more. When it came back, it was the perfect level of doneness. The meat is super tender and we loved the black pepper sauce. I had low expectations for the sukiyaki pasta, but I was wrong to doubt it. The pasta was al dente and the sauce was amazing, very light and sweet. The beef and mushrooms were cooked perfectly too. The caramel toffee molten cake wasn't really anything special to be honest. I liked the toffee flakes on the top but the cakes are mainly just something to take pictures of. They also gave us the cake at the very beginning of the meal so it was just sitting there for like an hour. Overall this place has some good food and is a nice place to chill. My dearest surprised me with an UberEATS delivery from this shop for my birthday. He got me the mango juice sago molten cake, peach and jasmine green tea crepe cake and Orleans wings. Starting off with the order I had the delivery.. the wings. They have a hint of spice and was cooked to perfection. Any longer and it would've just been okay. But the taste was still great. Not overly salted nor too heavy. Definitely would have again. The special mango sago cake... here's where I'm taking a star away. Not entirely their fault the mango wasn't ripe enough to be sweet, nor is it their fault the pomelo/grapefruit was overly bitter. This concept of a "lava" cake is nice, but is it worth it? Not so much. I'm a huge fan of the mango pomelo dessert, fyi, literally my go-to. The cake is a thicker sponge cake which I believe they use for all the lava cakes as a starter base. Overall the cake did compliment the wings as it wasn't sweet and provided a refreshing taste. I ate the peach and jasmine green tea crepe cake the next day and it still tastes amazing. It's not entirely strong flavor wise, however lite and refreshing. You get a hint of the peach flavor but not sure the jasmine green tea was quite there. .. but I must say, I'd rather have this again over the lava cake. Now if I had a cup of tea with me.. it may be the perfect combination. read more

Some of the customers are very noisy. When I was sitting down to enjoy my afternoon tea, the people next to me were playing tiktok and some videos very loudly. I asked the waitress to speak to them and she said they're not supposed to bother the customers. .... It's very loud that I cannot hear the background music. The cafe was super cute and nicely decorated. The service was good. We ordered a couple of drinks and desserts. To be honest the desserts were more pretty to look at than good to eat. The drinks were quite average. Out of the two desserts the mango one was quite bitter. The peach tea crepe was decent. Not the best we've ever tasted. read more
I'm fairly impressed with the selection. The place is quite small with just a few tables. 5 of us crammed into a setup made for 4. We had a plethora of food to go around, didn't get all the photos. It was a hot day and I was in the mood for the shrimp mango salad which definitely was what I was looking for. The drinks are quite nice as well. Prices are pricey but the service was good as well and the food came out at an efficient pace. read more

With so many dessert place popping up, this place is ok. I like the deco, it's a place you want to take pic and post up on your IG. As for the food, it's nothing too special. I like the peach crepe. The mango lava cake is just sponge cake with mango heavy cream. Pop corn chicken is sweet. Hummm..what I don't love about: Their music is too loud that at one point, I feel like I'm in a clue. After 3 visits, I think I can make a conclusion for this spot. First time walking in made you felt like a mini Tiffany dessert spot with the dinning ware and decor. But it's all just an "illusion", the quality of dinning ware and the chairs are poorly made, even the lighting is poor there. Back to the desserts, they all have fancy names but they are not up to the quality, and I'm very disappointed in their fresh juice drink, had very much of the artificial taste to it. Never order passion fruit at a dessert spot, they all came from a "fresh" jar. The cakes were like the sponge cakes you get from a Chinese bakery, the cream puffs were just too crispy and sweet on the outside, had me feeling like I was eating a sugar cookie. I was not happy with any of the desserts we ordered. Their teas are better than Prince Tea House, that I would give them the credit. Services, i don't recall details, therefore they with neither horrible nor attentive. Overall, after 3 experiences, and had the time to observe and really try out enough items, I would not come back for the fourth time. read more

Such a delightful little brunch spot. Went here yesterday, and I was completely charmed with the place. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is super cute. I had a few things while there. Earl grey came out in the cutest teapot. Tasted just right. They leave the pot at the table with you so you can serve yourself as you drink so it doesn't get cold. Had the passion fruit and oolong tea crepe cake with it and it was just perfect. Not too sweet, and just filling enough to be able to share between two. Very light and airy taste to it that left me wanting more. I had a taste of my partner's milk bubble tea and it was super nice. Not too sweet, but not just milky. He also had a hot peach oolong tea and we were happily surprised to find it also came with bubbles at the bottom. Of the two, that was my favorite. Then we split a rattan pepper chicken. They warn that it's a bit spicy, but it's not really very spicy at all and it's totally delicious. Definitely recommend if you're looking for more of a meal-type food there. The mayo dipping sauce it came with was really tasty. Before we left, I ordered a cold cheese peach oolong tea to go. It was very thick and flavorful, but I'm not sure I got much of the cheese in mine. Other than that, I'd say the last thing to know is that there is a $15 minimum to use card! Easy to meet between two people though. (Honestly, easy to meet with just one if you're sitting down.) Everything felt reasonably priced, tasted delicious, and the service was very attentive. It's a Thursday night and my boyfriend and I were looking for a spot to dine-in and have a quick meal. We settled on Sugar Miss Tea and unfortunately, it failed to meet our expectations. We were told to wait once we got there since every table was occupied, yet they ended up seating us in a table that was sandwiched tightly between 2 other tables. I guess the "6 feet apart" protocol doesn't apply to this cafe despite COVID-19 cases still being prevalent. It didn't bother us so much that we were able to hear the entire conversations of the people sitting in the tables next to us, but we ended up waiting 45 minutes - 1 hour for our food to come. We ordered a large milk green tea, which thankfully was served within the 5 minutes we ordered our food. We also ordered the salmon with cream tomato sauce and french fries. We asked the waitress to check on our food twice and both times, she said it was coming. 45 minutes later, she serves us the salmon with cream tomato sauce but NO FRIES?! We were too annoyed to follow up on the fries and told her to just cancel the order. The table next to us who came 15 minutes after us ordered the same entree and was served the same time as us. The pasta itself was nothing special and definitely not worth a 45 minute wait. At the end of the day, I only recommend this place to those who are not in a rush nor are picky with their food. This place is also not the cleanest establishment. There was no hand sanitizer in the front and floors were icky. I won't be back unless I really have to. read more

I love this place! I wish they had more than one location in all boroughs! It's super cute inside and they serve food and desserts. I went for the desserts and man did they have amazing delicious artsy selections. We ordered the caramel toffee molten cake (9.50), matcha molten cake (9.50), millies crepe cake (blue 8.75) and cold lattes (4.50). If your in Brooklyn do yourself a favor and stop by! read more
I have to say the food taste just as good as they look. The cafe itself was clean and cute. A good plaThey had both food and dessert! The fries were crisp and chicken was well flavored. For dessert, we got herbal grass jelly with taro balls in ice. One of my favorite dessert. The ice latte, omg! It's presented with a cute iced bear with warm milk that mixes into the latte. 5/5, I recommend and can't wait to go back. read more

It is as good as it gets! Hands down, the best dessert I have had in a very long time. Each dish had its own unique presentation that bring a multitude of flavors and textures. Most desserts I have had was just sweet. But when sweetness or sugar becomes the defining characteristic of the dessert, there is nothing special about it! The best desserts let ingredients shine through with a minimum of sweetness, or balance out sugar with salty, sour, or bitter components and Sugar Miss did just that. Decor is very cute and is similar to Prince Tea House. There was enough space for the six of us. Service was quick too. Must try: - Peach oolong mille crepe (definitely a favorite), it was a good blend of flavors which was not too sweet at all. - Peach oolong cheese drink Mediocre: - Matcha sponge cake, it's aesthetically pretty but includes heavy cream and not much flavor to the cream. Sponge cake was also flavorless too. Maybe stick to the mango pomelo next time. - Honey ginger tea- asked for some more honey but the staff said they don't put honey (?) which was confusing ... If youre reading this, then congrats, youve just found the new hidden gem in Brooklyn! Of course, theres been a new wave of dessert places in this area, some exciting and some mediocre. This place, however, definitely falls into the "exciting category." I already tried their mango pomelo sago molten cake, the matcha molten cake, the milk green tea and the iced latte, all of which has been extremely satisfying! If youre conflicted between the mango one or the matcb one, i would recommend that you go for the mango one as that one was slightly more creative. read more

My boyfriend and I decided to check this place out. We ordered the Teddy bear iced latte and the Oreo Chocolate dessert (which was super creamy). However, the Taro Bell tasted like soggy cereal and contained peanuts/jell-o. I didn't appreciate the clustered seating arrangement. I was super close to the other customers tables. Social distancing is definitely not their top priority. They also didn't check for vaccination cards which is concerning because this place is way overcrowded. read more
Came here on a Thursday night, very quiet. Weird vibe. Cake was expensive. Peach oolong was good but not the mango sponge cake. U can basically buy a sponge cake from a regular bakery and any mango dessert and put it on top. That would probably have more taste. YO THIS PLACE IS ! It's new and I can tell it's already gonna be great! Atmosphere: 10/10 Chairs and table and table toppers are cute and definitely wayyyyyyy wayyyy classy than your "Prince Tea House" Staffs: 10/10 Nice and attentive! Even though they are short on staff they are able to keep good customer service and all of them look happy and willing to serve! Food: 20/10 I order their milk green tea! Absolutely smooth and perfect blend of milk and sugar! LOVE LOVE THEIR peach oolong crepe cake! I love love love it! My last two visits have left me very impressed with this cafe. Trust their top 10 selections as I have not been disappointed while choosing off the list. The salt + pepper chicken is always a crowd favorite and we can't go wrong with Taiwanese inspired popcorn chicken. The flavors are phenomenal and tastyyyyy. The sauce pairing for the chicken cutlet is very addicting. I'm totally in love with the peach crepe cake and cheese strawberry tea. Perfect for strawberry lovers. My other favorite drinks are the fresh orange tea with passion fruit and the tropical fruit tea. I thought the grapefruit tea with peach sounded interesting so I gave it a go. It was a bit too bitter for my taste but would be perfect for the grapefruit lovers whom enjoy the hint of bitterness. My only criticism is that the drinks are mainly ice, so don't expect your drink to last you throughout your "high tea" or dessert time. This cafe is certainly becoming more popular! In August, the place was quite empty when I first visited. Flash forward to November, there is a 30-45 minute wait time. read more

Me and my fiance came on July 4th and it was beyond our expectations. Everything tasted great! Honestly was so surprised. The staff were kind and responsive. We got the green milk tea, little bear latte, garlic bread, avocado salmon fried rice, baked spaghetti and onion rings. Everything tasted great. They were very busy but the food came out within 20 minutes. They gave us a heads up about wait time prior to us ordering which we appreciated. Overall I would come back for sure! read more

Sugar Miss has variety of food and desserts in my opinion. The desserts are nice and same with the drink. But for their steak the pepper sauce is spicy T-T but the avocado salmon rice dish is definitely creamy taste! But most I love about must be their drink~ read more

Sugar Miss Tea Cafe OVERALL: 8.1/10 This place is mad cuteeee!! Very creative with their items, makes you do some work but issa worth. FOOD: 8.1/10 The desserts we got are the pomelo "best seller" Looks like a regular cake at first but when you lift up the plastic, it looks so cute. The latte is the one with the bear, I think the bear is made with the espresso beans. Pretty dope. Affogato was a little overdosed with ice cream... Didn't even get to really drink the shot. Last but not least we got the taro and bunch of other stuff... In a bowl, which was pretty good if you don't like things too sweet. YUMMY. SERVICE: 10/10 PRETTY GOOD. This place has pretty good high quality fruit drinks and cheese drinks. They're known fir their desserts but I really like their milk green tea as it taste just hot enough to drink and gas nodes of floral in it. The drinks are well priced at like $3.75 for a large / hot. They have a $15 card minimum. So I prefer paying with cash. When I pay with card, I usually buy one of their cakes, but I do think it's a bit expensive. read more

Sugar Miss is 100% aesthetically pleasing and perfect for Snapchat and Instagram. The drinks were perfectly sweeten and wonderful especially their fresh fruit teas. Consistently is kind of an issue as my hot cream milk tea came out pretty cold while my friends' hot green milks tea were soothing warm. Also the drinks came out after our desserts which is quite unusual. The desserts are very nice and very pleasing for the eye. However, their raspberry mouse had a distant taste that reminded me of ketchup. My friend and I dissected the mouse and left the raspberry filling aside. read more

My absolute favorite spot! I almost don't want to share this place with anyone and keep it all to myself, but it's so good that I MUST give credit. I love the bear latte, easily the cutest drink I've ever seen! They also have a version that has tea and coffee, so it kind of tastes like a milk tea + a latte combined, which is amazing! Their food is also surprisingly delicious, I always have to order their potato soup though. It's rich, flavorful, and comes with two crunchy pieces of garlic bread perfect for dipping. Last Friday afternoon I'm with my coworker walk by here try to get some dessert to eat and drink, the first time order experience was great because the waiter was nice to recommended which drink was great to try and the place was very nice and clean, Either as a waiter at a restaurant or a bartender, both are good great! This place is so adorable and CLEAN! The ice bear latte was my favorite. I really liked everything we ordered, however I do wish there was more variety for people who don't like fruity pastries. We ordered the raspberry lychee mousse cake which was a frozen sorbet type of cake, and a green tea molten lava cake. Both I really liked. At first, we passed the place without realizing because the area is not all that great. I would come again! read more

CATFISH LEVEL: 0/5: Looks good, tastes amazing Heard this place opened up and decided to go try it. We ordered the mango molten cake, caramel toffee molten cake, mango cheese foam, peach oolong crepe cake, brown sugar bubble milk, and Oreo cream puff, durian cream puff, fried chicken, and popcorn chicken (we wanted to try everything). The mango cheese foam was great! The mango was very fresh and you can taste the tea, it had a really nice floral subtleness to it. The cheese foam wasn't too cheesy, and worked well with it. The brown sugar bubble milk was good, but not as sweet as I expected. The bubbles had a really nice texture and were really soft! The caramel toffee molten cake was amazing!! The cake itself was super light, it was very creamy and delicious. It was so good we wanted to order another one and got the mango one to try as well. The mango one was really light and came out fresh (it was still a bit warm!) however, the cake itself was a bit eggy. I'm not really into sponge cake so I preferred the caramel one, but the mango cream on top was really good with the sponge cake. The crepe cake was a bit eggy and the cream was a little oily, but the flavor was nice. The Oreo cream puff wasn't overly sweet. The cream itself was really good, super light. The pastry was soft, a bit crispy but not too much. The pastry was also a bit eggy, but not to the point where it took away from the delicious cream. The durian cream puff was even better. It had a subtle durian taste that went so well with the light cream. It's my favorite thing to get here! The fried chicken was super crispy, and the sweet mayo on the side was a perfect dipping sauce. The popcorn chicken is really good and flavorful , it tasted like there was a cheese powder on top which really made it!! Definitely recommend. The peach mousse cake was really nice, the mousse was light and had a really nice jasmine flavor, and it was a bit cheesy too. The peach part was a bit too frozen, but it did have a nice flavor. The mix fruit tea was super light and refreshing, you can tell they actually use real fruit and fruit juice. The chicken wings were alright, spicy, tasted a bit like a hot dog. I prefer their fried chicken over the wings. The grapefruit tea with peach is super refreshing and light, with fresh grapefruit which adds nice pops of tartness as you drink! This is my new favorite thing to get here. The peach oolong tea with cheese foam was really nice, it had a subtle peach flavor and the cheese foam made it nice and creamy, adding sweetness. The tiramisu was good, the cream was super light, but there was a lot of cocoa powder on top. It also had a really slight coffee flavor, not too strong, which is one of my favorite parts of tiramisu so I was a bit sad about that.
